I misjudged the weight of a crate and ouch, that hurt. I assumed it was a simple muscle strain, but I'm no physician. Dr. Weiler, however, recognized my symptoms as consistent with a more serious injury and, thanks to her and her very professional staff, I had an X-ray, an MRI and saw a specialist, all within four days of my initial visit with her. There's no way I could've achieved all these appointments on my own. It's only because of Dr. Weiler and her staff that I got in to see a specialist that very same week. UPDATE: Within 10 days of that first appointment with Dr. Weiler, I learned I'd suffered a 95-percent separation of my bicep, and had the surgery necessary to correct it. Yes. All within 10 days. If not for Dr. Weiler, the injury I mistook for a simple strain could've very easily become so severe that even surgery wouldn't have been an option.
