Dana Nelson is so awesome along with her VetTech Azley. Very intelligent and personable. Makes great the contact and understands the needs of me and my dog. Serious concerns for all pets…read more I dropped off my senior cat at 8:30 AM for a sedated shave, but she was not seen or sedated until over 5 hours later, with no attention or monitoring during that time. Blood work taken around 11 AM showed high blood glucose, which can make sedation riskier for senior cats--another reason why this delay was dangerous. No sedation reversal was administered, and based on the records, there was no post-sedation monitoring. She was sent home too quickly, disoriented, unable to walk properly, and clearly distressed. Cats over 12 years are roughly twice as likely to suffer anesthetic complications, making proper monitoring and recovery time critical. Even 48 hours later, she was still not fully recovered. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable bringing any pet here and would caution other pet owners to consider this before choosing this practice.

Totally going out of their way for things they didn't have to and all helping me and each other with the most kindness. I wanted to apologize again for my demeanor. So one of our dogs needs a dental, we are only up here in the summer and unfortunately it cannot…read morewait until we get back to home, so my wife scheduled an appointment with the clinic two weeks ago. In that time, our poor dog has started to show signs that her teeth are painful, it isn't just an issue of her mouth smelling funky. So we waited the two weeks, because from all of my wife's research, this was a good clinic to bring our beloved dog to. So my wife dropped off our dog at 9am. When my wife got home I asked when our pooch would be home, and she told me that they were not expecting to perform the dental procedure until 2:30pm. At a vet clinic back home, we would normally have dropped off the animal closer to the time of the appointment. My wife has worked in the animal welfware industry and assisted with surgeries so she began to try and figure out when we might get a call from them, as she was told that she would likely pick up our dog at 4:30pm, so if they started on time at 2:30 pm and an average dental takes about 30 minutes, depending upon the number of extractions that need to be done and so, we would likely hear from the clinic around 3:15 pm. And we did. We were informed that they were not able to perform the dental procedure, due to a high volume of walk-ins, one of which is life threatening. My wife was as polite as possible as the lady on the other end of the phone served up the reasons/excuses as to why our dog has sat in a kennel since 9am and still has teeth that need to be cleaned and likely some that need to be pulled. They should have called us sooner, because with them closing at 5pm, there is a limited window of time for a dog to properly recover from the drugs used to put them under during a dental procedure, pretty much meaning that when it was apparent they would not be able to start at 2:30, they should have called my wife. Also, because of the fact that when my wife dropped off our dog, their surgery list was full, such that our dog's expected time was 2:30, and it being 9am, my wife should have been offered the ability to bring the dog back at say 2:00 pm, or even offered the chance to call at 2pm and see if she should bring our dog in, given the busy schedule. As the clinic is not open on Weds, we were offered a Friday appointment with a discount for the inconvenience. Without have any other options, my wife accepted the appointment, but will be canceling soon as she doesn't want to have the procedure done at the end of the week with there being a possibility of weekend complications, so rather we will be taking our dog to another clinic on Tuesday. The crappy thing about all of this is, we waited two weeks, because the research showed that this was a great clinic and from what my wife could see when she picked up our pooch, the clinic does appear to be great if your local. And while we are not here all year round, we have multiple dogs, so it feels like when an appointment is made it should be kept or if anything, we should have been offered an appointment on Thursday. I really don't like giving bad reviews, but in this case I am upset, possibly more so than my wife. Take this review with the grain of salt that our dog was never actually treated by the clinic and it is unlikely that any of our animals ever will be, but this review is a faire and accurate recap of the events with the information provided to us.

But she is costing more now than I can afford especially since there's no Medicare for dogs. From here on in, I will go into Bellaire Animal Hospital. Sorry, Adrian. Sounds crazy and it is but that's exactly what they did to me. I asked for 2 simple receipts for my pet insurance company to process my claims. For over a week the office manager (Amber Sibo) lied numerous times to me and my insurance company saying she had prepared the receipts and sent them. Incredibly she never did either and after more than a week of wasting my time with her remotely I went in person to get the receipts. For no reason Amber refused again to give them to me. I was able to get 2 envelopes from another employee. I assumed they contained the receipts. Wrong. Both envelopes contained reams of irrelevant documents but NO RECEIPTS! I called Susan Daly the veterinarian and she immediately prepared the receipts and sent them to me. She told me that the Amber had complained that I threatened her. That was absurd and after I gave Susanthe facts she was taken aback by Amber's behavior but not surprised since she said they had been having "other problems with Amber that [they] were working on with her." What Susan Daly concealed from me was the fact that she and Amber had called the police on me for "threatening" Amber. Susan never even bothered to get the facts from me before allowing Amber to file the false police report. When I found out about it I wrote a response to that false report to the poilice and Susan got offended and said it was "over the top" and "what was the purpose?" Seriously? It's ok for her and her office manager to refuse to give me receipts and then file a false report against me but I'm not supposed to do anything? The proper thing for her to do would have been to check with me before filing the false police report. Having failed to do that, she shld have contacted the police and retracted her false statements. But, she did neither. Even after she realized that her problematic office manager had instigated the entire problem she didn't retract her false statements and takes offense when I set the record straight about her misconduct and that of her office manager. . And in her communication to me she considers this matter over because the office manager no longer works there. That changes nothing. Her false police call still happened without her making any effort to correct the record. In my opinion this is not a business - it's a collection of misfits who take people's money and in return treat the people like criminals.
