What an amazing find! We spent the Eclipse time with them. They made that time extra special. They did not overbook, allowed the camper RVs a lot of space, had coffee and churros in the morning, dinners every night, so reasonable in prices and they didn't up their prices for the eclipse gouging going on. And I gotta give some love to V- Elvis (Brett Butler) who entertained us two nights. Stash winery was also there and Lee Courier sang hound dog with Elvis. Dustin has a lot of cool kitchen gadgets like a huge corn roaster. We ate a lot of roasted cord with butter and season salt. There's a churro maker and the Train Wreck with churros, whipped cream and caramel OMG. A large kettle for kettle corn every night and a shaved ice maker. Wow! Keri is the friendliest most imaginative event creator. Weddings, family reunions and any and all campers would be super happy coming to visit!

It's a family-run operation and the owners were really friendly & responsive. Prices were very reasonable, and unlike other campgrounds, you get more than just a spot to park your camper. The highlight was, of course, a small train that has a route through the woods. We rode on that thing a TON - our kids LOVED it. We also played tetherball, mini golf, watched movies in the evening, listened to live music, played in play houses for the kids, and had lots of concession food. There didn't seem to be a ton to do in the vicinity (near a small town), but the campground had lots happening so we hardly felt a need to even leave! We'll be back.

We had a great time and shared a throwing lane with new friends we met and it was great and everyone was nice, front desk staff were great and the host too. Our host Archer was great, they also helped me determine which axe to throw. I have a brain injury and this was actually a good thing to do for hand eye coordination and repetitions which are good for me. The whole experience was great and $60 for 90 minutes was not bad and worth it to us, I did see they have a membership if you live locally and want to go often. We would definitely go again and I want my husband to build us one for at home!

Santiam is a fairly straightforward golf course. You won't find stunning vistas, challenging hole…read morelayouts or other features associated with top courses. What you will find is a very well-maintained public track that offers good golf for a low price. - Layout is a lot of back and forth. Many holes seem to resemble one another. Still, the holes are very playable and will test your skills. - Fairways. It was wet when I played and it had been raining but the fairways maintained their condition with good course drainage. Still a lot of mud on the ball so we played lift, clean and replace. - Greens are in great shape. There aren't a lot of ridiculous contours, just reasonable slopes that require a fair amount of green reading skills. The fringes are in good shape, too. - Bunkers. I only visited one but it played well even with the moisture. The course does not have an excessive number of traps. - Hazards. Trees are you main concern (and there are some magnificent specimens on the course) but watch out for hidden water. It's not on many holes but what is there is a bit sneaky. Rough is not very rough. - Carts are no frills electric. Mine worked fine. - Practice facilities are limited. Santiam has a decent practice green but a very small driving range. No short game area. Santiam's prices are very reasonable. Low even. The pro shop is small but if you need something, they might have it. There's a nice cafe/grill in the building as well.

I understand it is new ownership, I think it can be a profitable business and nice addition for the City of Keizer. There's about 6 grass tee areas and about 20 mats, a nice putting green but it was closed. They need to add more targets, like 55 gallon drums angled toward the mats at maybe 75 yards, 150 yards, etc. One driving range I've gone to has themed targets, like pumpkins on haystacks for Halloween, turkey stick-in-the-ground decorations (Walmart about $2 each) Christmas themed targets for Christmas. It's a very nice driving range for the local area. No need to travel far to get golf practice in.

The groups are awesome. Lots of activities like Archery, Paintball, Basketball, Golf and Disc Golf to name a few. This is my second year for Men's Advance. I'm already looking forward to next year.

Nothing super high tech, but a computer does the math and scores show up on the screen above the lane. The prices are super-reasonable, beer is cold, deep friend snacks are good, rental shoes are clean, a choice of bowling balls for every size human and working automatic lanes (with bumpers, if you want them). Just what we needed for a couple of hours of Saturday afternoon foolery.
