Cherry Hill Ice Cream Cafe was definitely a nice little treat to end a very impromptu beach day in Daytona. The service was quick (it was not super busy). The server was kind. The overall feel and ambiance of this ice cream shop was homey but eclectic. It has a nice little charm about it. There was ample seating. There was also a great variety of ice cream flavors to choose from. And to my surprise (and delight), they even offered some boozy ice cream options. You can mix and match the ice cream scoops to your fancy, and the pricing is super reasonable. They also GIVE YOU A LOT. In fact, the small cup I had could have been shared with someone. As for the ice cream selection I settled on, I went with their boozy option for the Bailey's Ice Cream. While the Bailey's flavoring was subtle, it was still quite tasty. I should have paired it with Buttered Pecan, but I only did one flavor. I enjoyed it, though. On my next visit to Daytona, I will be SURE to visit Cherry Hill Ice Cream Cafe. Every time we come to Daytona we come here. The quality used to be good but the past 2 times we've come, we all end up with diarrhea. The quality is no longer good. Today they didn't have coffee ice cream so I order mint chocolate and it was lacking mint flavor. They do carry unusual sugar free flavors which my dad likes, but when you get diarrhea afterwards it isn't worth it. We have come here many many many many many times and we've only had issues the last 2 times. They don't even sell coffee to drink anymore so I'm not sure we'll come back. read more

They had me at the pretzel tucked into my scoop of "Bride of Frankenstein" -- a white chocolate creation that was outrageously good. Creamy, fresh, clearly made in-house, and full of flavor. This is hands down the best ice cream in Florida besides Twisty Treat, that is. Every time we're in Daytona, we make a detour and get a scoop. Without question, the ice cream is worth it. It's creamy, rich, and delicious and the owners are huge ice cream lovers and it comes through quickly when you talk to them. Making ice cream is their passion and it shows. My go-to is mint chocolate chip ice cream and this place nails it better than anyone else. My mom took me to this uniquely decorated ice cream store. And I will say the ice cream is soooo creamy and delicious, not over priced and wonderful service!!! On the A1A worth the drive if you are in Ponce Inlet, Daytona, etc. it is set in a mini strip mall with a hair salon, a pet groomer and I believe near Ace Hardware, about a mile from Publix and Porto Fino Italian Restaurant. They have an eclectic mix of tables + chairs and lining the walls are old album covers and they even have a suit of armor! Today the music was from the 70s. The flavors of the ice cream ranged from candy cane, black raspberry, coffee crunch and see the photos. I really like that they offer games to play while eating and even karaoke on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. We will definitely make this a regular stop when we visit the area! She moved down from Philly (which coincidentally is where we're visiting from :)). They make their ice xream fresh onsite and the consistency and quality is super fresh and creamy! I tasted other flavors to get to one that I liked enough to order, but I was not overly impressed. You may have a different experience, I'm a bit picky when it comes to my ice cream. If you're looking to try something different, the flavors are certainly different, particularly the adult flavors. I asked for a taste of the hot fudge to take home with me and they obliged. (I wasn't overly impressed with the hot fudge, but it was OK too.) I have to say that the service was excellent and the ambience was uniquely nice. For me though, it's all in the flavors. read more
