I love how this brewery is in the coolest spot underneath the bridge and so close to the beach. My brother is a member here, so naturally he took me to his spot while I was visiting. The people here are very nice, the place is beautiful as well as the decor. Father's day we got a table, there was a gentleman strumming guitar&singing, overall great vibe. We stacked on pretzels, and they even have a mustard bar with different mustard u can self serve & taste, pretty cool. The winning beer for me was the black Lager, smooth & light. Bravo! read more

Oh, man, where to start! Start with the great beers, of course. Lots of variety and excellent taste and quality. Quench your thirst, but come with an appetite, too, because they have some great food. We had the wings, pizza, and don't miss out on all the house mustards they have available. Finally, the staff is amazing. I will never go through this area again without stopping in. Decent little micro brewery with funky beach vibe surprisingly good brew, although I've only been twice, I had the black Lager and the plum sour most recently, was pleasantly surprised! It is loud needing some soundproofing, though and kind of clickish at the bar, the Deli is adequate but seems a second thought. They do have decent quality ingredients, a cool mustard selection, yet frequently lacking menu items Just lacking overall presentation and the "it" factor for prices / value can't recommend the BLT, very disappointing with thin chips & bits of bacon, instead of actual bacon strips, weak tomato and not a fan of the shredded lettuce, when brought to the attention of the staff was told rather curtly "everybody has their opinion I suppose, like it's my fault and problem" no offer to even acknowledge, awkward odd gaslit response. Funny enough the side order of steak fries you pay to substitute for potato chips were however great and the best part of that meal/ " lunch special" that is supposed to come with a Glogg beverage which apparently they don't have any anymore though still advertise as such did not have a substitute, sweet Tea, lemonade...? & had to ask the bartender twice for water again curtly like it was a real bother. Overall good stop I guess for some locally made in house brews, minus the attitude. Deli not bad but could definitely use some improvement and has potential to be much better, the shift might seem long, but life is too short for mediocrity! There was a one man band playing. Cool stuff on several TVs. We played a trivia game that was connected to one of the tv screens. It is the sort of casual place that is simply inviting. Dunes Brewing is the best brewery in the Daytona area. The absolute best. I promise. I actually already wrote a review, but it was in my notes and I think it got deleted. So I am writing it again. And I am sure the original would have been epic. The beer here is very good, but they pour it like it is just normal beer. What that means is you will get more beer, but less carbonation. I can get a beer and a half the way they pour. Dunes is dog friendly which I love. They have unisex bathrooms, also a plus. And they have games, video games and pin ball. When it comes to breweries, I like to review on certain attributes not considered here or elsewhere (well, maybe one place) - but the point is, I like to consider the location's vibe, quality, service, and selection, and if applicable it's food.. The first thing that comes to mind when you enter Dunes Brewing is that is actually visually stunning inside, very open, and very airy. But has my oldest son remarked upon closer examination, the way the inside is decorated, made him (and then me) think of how someone from say, Minnesota, as an example would think people from Florida decorate their homes - lots of shells, lots of fake marlins on the wall, kitschy wall decorations, the whole nine-yards. But once you get past that - it really is a nice place to hang out an chill. Quality of brew is very good, service was bit slow but they got to us, and selection was decent - not a big list but not small either. Of all the places I visited this weekend, this is in my top two to return and try again. read more

What a great find in Port Orange. Great selection of brews for all tastes. I like IPA's my wife likes lagers. I had the pastrami reuben and it was the best I have ever had. Service was fast and free pinball and shuffleboard are great additions. Refreshing to find a quiet place where you just want to hang out, play some games and chat with friends. This is SUCH a cute brewery! I loved the decor and atmosphere, it was so nice to see something different than the usual Edison bulbs and lots of wood that most breweries have. They have couches and various seating areas as well as some games and light snacks. Their menu consisted of standard beer styles, such as Blonde Ale, Irish Red and several styles of IPA. My BF and I sat at the bar and each got a pint. He got the Down Under classic IPA and I got the Hazy IPA. Both were refreshing! We were on a bit of a time crunch so we just had the one beer each and were on our way. Dunes brewing located right under the bridge of Dunlawton Ave is a beautiful brewery that's only minutes away from the ocean. The atmosphere is very beach themed/margaritaville theme. They had a taco truck out in the parking lot when we arrived which they post on their social media. As for the drinks we ordered an IPA and a Irish Red ale. Both were tasty with unique flavors and honestly were some of my favorite craft beers I have had in a awhile. They offer Growlers and a mug club for the brewery. The seating area is nice indoors and out, with a good selection of free arcade games and shuffle board. Such a fun eclectic costal vibe with delicious unique beers. I just was in awe of the decor and kept finding fun new things. The bar top was probably my favorite item. After 20yrs being around the construction industry, this was a first. The servers were super friendly and a pleasure. I can't wait to go back on a random afternoon and see what new beers they are featuring. Definitely a hidden gem in Port Orange. This place obviously gets great reviews but I personally don't share that enthusiasm... I think the beers here are average and overpriced... I have tried several variations of their IPAs and just wasn't feeling it. The Golden strong is ok though. They don't serve food here and I would not consider this to be a family friendly place. I don't particularly like all of the repurposed furniture in here and find that I can't get comfortable and relax... This is a great new brewery that just opened in Port Orange. Wide open space, with a rustic-y beach feel. They've got a decent selection of beers, wines, cider, and sodas. They have a few snack options, but other than that, not much in the way of food. Fortunately they're within walking distance of the Jimmy's Hula's next door.
