During the summer Cherry hill has running water with bowls for the dogs, there are at least 5 garbage cans for disposal of poo. The park has poo bags and a take/shovel for feces removal. I am here at least 3x a week with my babies and frequently see a grounds keeper which is why this area is always clean and maintained. There is pea gravel instead of grass and prefer the gravel with the random rain storms the area receives. Def my go to with my fur babies.

What it has going for it: - good fencing, gates and entry area - decent size run - dog drinking fountain - poop bags provided - limited views of river What it has going against it: - no small dog run - ground cover is packed dirt...bad drainage - no shade - limited seating - no parking close to run When they were planning Riverstone Park I am sure they needed to check off the box for a dog park, but I think it was at the bottom of the list of priorities since there doesn't seem a lot of thought was put into the planning of this dog park. Access is from the Centennial Trail. The closest parking is on West Suzanne Rd or you will have to park at the parking lot for Riverstone Park and walk over 1/3 mile to this dog run. This public dog run/park is being used mostly by the tenants of the adjacent Riverstone apartments. Add shading, more seating and better ground cover and this is a 3 star dog park/run. Fixed the drainage issue, add a small dog run and better access and this could be a 4 star dog run/park.

There were very clean basketball courts, a vast open field for walking your pets or playing in, a walking trail, playground area and a fun simple hiking trail up the hillside (not sure if it's part of the same park) It was a great hour exploring the park and the surrounding area!

(ex. gate that separates the large and small dog runs, there is big enough gap that a small dog could squeeze thru to large dog run) - Limited seating - Could have been a lot bigger - Limited shade - Ground cover looks to be crushed granite, not the greatest if you have a wet long hair dog and it can get dusty (should have used pea gravel) I am glad to see they added a dog run to McEuen Park....but I do believe they could have done a better job. I have been to a lot of dog runs (mostly in the NYC area). If they add seating, better fencing, more shade and change out the ground cover and this is a solid 4 star dog run, if it was also bigger this could have been a possible 5 star dog run in my opinion.
