If you find yourself on campus and looking for a more kid friendly area (aka slides and splash pads) I would recommend a walk on down to the park! It has a large bank of tennis courts (with evening play available due to the lights!). It also has a pool! Many times when I've been here there is some kind of swimming competition occurring in the pool. Last time I stopped by they had some new fitness play equipment for adults. I have an interest in unique playground equipment so I thought this was pretty cool considering the retirement facility located right on the edge of the park. You can grab picnic supplies at the nearby Safeway or takeout from the nearby Thai restaurant and enjoy the beautiful summer weather in Spokane. I frequently see people picnicking here. One really important part of Mission Park that I must mention is the memorial to Otto Zehm. He was a mentally-ill man killed by the Spokane police in 2006. The simple memorial was placed in 2012 as part of a settlement with the city of Spokane. As a community it is important to remember the legacy of Otto Zehm and I think a visit to this memorial is an important visit for any local or tourist.

The party package pricing is comparable to similar venues such as Flying Squirrel, etc. (which means not cheap - but you'll pay similar anywhere) The reason for only 2 stars is lack of organization and poor communication. When we arrived for my granddaughter's party, were told we had 2 hours (which we knew) but they added, "no worries on time, kids usually are worn out and ready to leave in hour and a half" After that, it was all on us to organize the time (how long to play, how long to eat, how long to play more before cake/gift opening, etc etc) We were halfway through last part (gift opening) when suddenly I was told "you have 5 minutes to get out or you'll charged a late fee" WT actual Hell??? Where was THAT speech as we were checking in? We had to grab and dash and finish the party in the freaking food court! I did Flying Squirrel last year and that place was MUCH more organized. They assign you a concierge who guides you through how long you have for each segment of the party. We play was a fun experience up until that whole bum's rush bit at the end. If they're going to watch the clock on you they should tell you that up front (and give guidance to ensure no one party segment runs too long so upset the ones that follow) I Will not be using them again

A checklist on a wall doesn't change the fact that this place was a biohazard on Friday. She's never caught an illness like this anywhere else, which tells you everything you need to know about their "deep cleaning." Save your money, save your sanity, and avoid the medical bills. Just go to a free play place where the literal sun can sanitize the germs. We are never coming back. To whoever brought the plague: next time your eyes are glued shut, try checking into an urgent care instead of a children's play place.
