There is parking either at McEuen Park or over by the Trailhead marker by Sanders Beach. Hiked during the week and it wasn't too crowded though some of the beach areas scattered along the way are not huge so you may want to get there earlier on weekends. The hike itself is fairly easy to moderate. The main trail is easy, however, if you go off path and down to the shoreline you just have to watch your step. Definitely not for walking around in flip flops.

The playground and splash pad were a little small, but the playground seemed pretty new with fresh wood chips giving it a nice smell. The kids loved it and it was nice to have small benches to sit on around the fence line. There's a 9 hole frisbee golf course I'll have to come back and try. It looked like a decent course that was well maintained. Also, there was a nice, small basketball court with 4 hoops to play on. Bathrooms were what you'd expect at a large park (clean, but smelled like an outdoor bathroom). There was at least one large gazebo with tables under it and I believe some bbqs.

Bigger playground area with newer equipment including swings and slides for bigger kids. Careful in the summer as the surfaces get hot. Tons of grass and open area. At the time of this visit they were doing a catered event with bounce houses and little food trucks. Plenty of parking in the lot or on the street. For residential parks this is as good as it gets. :)

There are swings, and plenty of the things for the kids to climb on. It's a nice play structure and my kids love it. So why four stars? Parking in nearby lots is pretty easy unless it's a summer weekend! It's a little bit of a walk for little legs so could be worth bringing a stroller. Slides, swings, pretend boats and plenty of climbing and to be found. Area for younger kids as well and the entire playground is fenced in with only two points of entry. Lots of big trees around offer shade in the summer as well!

This was remarkably uncrowded - a few pedestrians, including folks using wheelchairs thanks to the fact this trail is paved and level, and a handfull of cyclists - on the beautiful summer morning we used it. In spite of the fact that summer is peak tourist season for CDA and the the "joint was jumping". Paved 0.4 mile loop around the outside. Half-court basketball with four hoops. Horseshoe pits. Playground features two big kid swings and two toddler swings, small climbing wall, and a fairly extensive jungle gym given the size of the park. Playground is fenced in with an exit on each side so it's easier to contain children.
