Very easy and straightforward! I called ahead earlier to verify estimated wait time, and the gentleman who answered was very nice and reassuring, Soon as I pulled in, the kind young man greeted me with such politeness and professionalism. Although I knew I'd have to wait for my car to be seen, he got me the paperwork right away. They have plenty of outdoor seating, and the couch I am sitting on in their garage as I write this review is comfy as heck! They kept me updated on the ETA on my car being done, (which hasn't even been long even with other cars ahead of me) and the gentleman went over everything with me. Definitely come here if you want smooth, easy, and professional service!

There's a reason why this place has such a high review. I needed to get my truck smogged so I checked yelp and found this place right down the street from my house. When I showed up there was no waiting and when I was told what the price would be I was in shock, it was much lower than my previous shop. I drove in, filled out the paperwork and within 15 min my truck was done! If/when I need another smog test I'll definitely be visiting this place!! read more

Actually called before coming to confirm hours and no one picked up initially, but pleasantly surprised to receive a call back without leaving a message. Got my questions answered quickly with the call back. Then showed up later and got in pretty much immediately for the smog check. Even got $10 off for placing this review but I had good things to say anyway even before showing up. Great service, price and overall professionalism. read more

Called this morning to ask for an appointment or walk-in smog test. The gentlemen on the phone was professional and inviting. I already knew I was coming here for my test. Showed up, and was immediately taken care of. Put my car on the analyzer, ran my test, cleared, and I was on my way. Place is dirty, gritty, and well organized, as it should be for a professional mechanics establishment. The attendant was very professional and knowledgeable. I just told him what I needed and it was down to business. I wish more places would be this way, as I value my time and I need to be in and out! Last but not least the test was perfectly priced. $50 for everything! Most places are charging $60 dollars. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK and thank you for taking care of Fontana residents! I highly recommend Cherry Smog Test!!! read more

Surprising since other smog shops won't charge you if you fail. The only highlight was the female technician took the time to explain the results. The others seemed sarcastic/annoyed and more interested in my truck and seeing if I'll sell rather than helping me with the situation.

If you ned a smog test, this is the place to go! Gerardo was professional and worked diligently on my Mustang to get it smogged, although we ran into a problem. The original owner had installed a special exhaust system and the sticker that authenticates the product was old and illegible. Jesse promptly came to discuss the matter with me since I had become very stressed (I had only a couple days left before my DMV registration was due.) Jesse displayed top notch customer service skills and defused my frustration. He advised me of what steps to take in order to avoid DMV extra charges and how to obtain a new sticker from exhaust manufacturer. Alberto, another professional and polite employee was able to compete my smog test when I returned with the sticker. I had a very disappointing experience with Cherry Smog. They advertise a $10 off coupon on their website, and when I called ahead, they confirmed that the coupon would be honored. However, when I arrived just 30 minutes later, they suddenly changed their story and said it was only $5 off--and only if I left them a review. This is extremely misleading. Advertising a $10 coupon, confirming it over the phone, and then changing it once the customer shows up is not acceptable. On top of that, asking for a review in exchange for a discount feels like they are trying to game their ratings instead of earning honest feedback. Overall, very shady and unprofessional business practices. I would not recommend this place. read more

I just moved to CA from PA and had no idea what to do or where to go for a smog test. Cherry Smog Test was the first place that came up on google and I'm so glad I went! There were 2 other cars ahead of me and I couldn't believe how quickly our smog tests were done. Jesse was so professional and nice! Walked up and was approached immediately by the tech. I let the technician know I was here for a smog check. He did notify my that I had a customer in front of me and that I would be serviced next. He welcomed me in to plenty of seating with a fan blowing to keep me cool in this California heat. He even accepted my coupon I had printed out for another shop on Yelp (too far - 12 miles!) before I found him on Yelp (only about a mile from my house!). SO glad I went to Cherry Smog. Had my Jeep Liberty smoged here yesterday and was very impressed. The customer service was great, the smog was quick and the over all experience was great. I will be bringing my vehicles here for smogs now. He was even gentle with my car and didn't slam the hood or my car doors, which I appreciated. Highly recommend this place. read more

Called ahead and surprised to hear there was little to no wait time for a smog, once I got there I was greeted and they began the smog check on my car. Was in and out within 15 minutes, I also noticed my tpms light was on while on my way there and they even checked that out for me. Will definitely come back in the future read more

FAST, FRIENDLY AND GREAT PRICES! I came in for a smog check today and the man was very nice and informing about everything, he also put on cartoons to keep my kids entertained. I needed a SMOG quickly before DMV closed, no haggle, no hassle, kid didn't try to take advantage of the price knowing I was pressed for time. As soon as I pulled up they were ready to get it on! The took the car in as soon as I got out. Approachable an very nice! Please send all cars that need smoking here. Also there location on foothill an cherry is a in-n-out process as well. They said no time an get you out of there with in 20 minutes! read more

I was emailed a quote of $50 as they were offering a discount if you posted a Yelp review or something. I came to the business and inquired about it but they said it was $60. They said they needed proof or an email about the discount. I had problems getting on my email so I said forget it. read more
