I really like this place. It has great atmosphere. I've been a couple of times for lunch or dinner, but unfortunately don't come often enough since it's not close to home. If we are in the area, this is our place to eat. This last time, I ordered a salad with salmon, and sadly, it wasn't great. The salmon was pink in the middle and I like it cooked more than that. I had asked for no blue cheese, and it came with. The server was super nice and attentive, so I can't be mad. I tasted my husband's chicken & waffles, which was superb. It is his go-to meal here. I guess it will be mine too. Tip: Get the Kentucky Mule. They add not only a slice of lime, but an orange slice. Really good. read more

Food is good. We love the polliwog dip and the pbj wings. The hostess was rude. We walk in and I say hello and she says nothing back just stares. Awkward pause I say we have four- still says nothing. I usually order chicken street tacos, but I decided to try the New England fish and chips, which is their BEST SELLER. I was very disappointed since the outside was crispy, while the inside was wet and runny. The cole slaw and tartar slaw were very bland. I'm also disappointed that there isn't a kids' menu. They do have high chairs, so it appears to be "kid-friendly." I was able to get plain mac and cheese, but I had to order an adult sized portion. It would be great if it was offered as a side dish (for a 5 yr old sized portion) and if they had a few choices for kids. read more

Cherry Street Pub is one of the better places in Lancaster. It's located away from the chain restaurants. The atmosphere is like a local bar but it serves food too. It has a good draft beer list. The food is okay too. I had the Buckeye Lake Brewery Cherry Street Ale. It was made specially for here. This has a nice creamy taste. It's about $5 for a pint. This isn't a cheap beer but for a craft it's an okay price. As for the food it was not bad. They have a few vegetarian options. I couldn't find the squash ragout on the menu. That sucked. Apparently they updated the menu. Unfortunately there weren't many other good options. It sucks they got rid of a great item on the menu. One other choice was the vegetable wrap. If you're looking for better restaurants. in Lancaster this is a good choice. It has a good size menu. The beer is better than the food though. read more

I used to visit this place about 4 days a week when I worked there in 2020 and even had an occasion to meet and sit with the owner. She was very nice and found the staff there just as much. I always tipped well. As time went on however I found I was always be seated at either the bar or very small, cramped area near it where both the patrons or the main traffic of the waitresses was always brushing my arms and sometimes the food trays with food or empty dishes. Finally, I had enough and refused to sit in these areas anymore and insisted to sit at the tables away from the bar. I was directed to a sign over the hostess station that said "It's not our fault your friends aren't here" I couldn't make the connection and was simply told that they now had a policy that unless two people came in together the guest could not be seated at a table and that the sign was their way of making it clear and it was not their fault the patrons never saw or understood the sign. I MAKE IT CLEAR that I was not going to sit in the bar and was told I wouldn't be served. I LEFT AND NEVER WENT BACK! read more

Great experience on our first visit to Cherry Street Pub. My son has several allergies and we brought his food with us. Upon learning of my sons allergies our server made certain our food didn't even enter his space. He asked us plenty of questions and then said he didn't want to make any suggestions until talking with the chef to make certain of what dishes were clear of his allergen's. Have you heard of PB&J wings? I hadn't... now they are my favorite wings I've tasted. I have been to CSP many times... it's about time I left a review. They deserve it. This past trip was certainly my favorite! I tried two new dishes and they were outrageous. The PB&J wings were unlike anything I've ever tasted. I know it sounds gross... but just trust me. The Asian zing mixed with peanut butter and jelly is one of the most uniquely delicious combos I have come across. I also ordered the hangover 1 burger. It was delish. The open-faced Texas toast complimented the burger well. CSP is extremely generous with their portions and this showed with the 6 slices of bacon and the gooey egg on top. CSP also has their own beer. They teamed up with Buckeye Lake Brewery to create the Cherry Street Creme Ale. It's really good! Definitely worth the try. If you are in the area and haven't tried Cherry Street, you are missing out. Expect good things. They will meet your expectations! read more

When visiting the Lancaster area we love to eat here! Its a cozy restaurant with great service and delicious food! Love their bison burgers, bison mac n cheeseburger, chicken and waffles, lobster mac n cheese and smothered burrito. Heck, I like all their entrees. Their mac n cheese is housemade. Very rich and delicious. But honestly, anything you order will probably be delicious. And I find the portion sizes to be very generous. They have a full bar and I love their cocktail menu. Once seated, our waitress was prompt, friendly, and very accommodating of our schedule. The pretzels and disco fries were great, made just right and came out very fast. We hadn't been to Cherry Street in a few years, but we were in town on business and decided to give in another try. So glad we did! It was a gorgeous fall day, so we opted to sit on the patio. We're vaccinated, but still very careful, so this was a plus. We were both hungry for fried fish, so one of us ordered Fish and Chips and the other a huge fish sandwich. We were very happy with the absolutely perfect battered cod, featured in both entrees. I love a good fish sandwich, but this was a great one -- the best I've ever had this side of Florida. Both meals came with piled of perfectly cooked fries that we couldn't finish. (There was a tots option that we didn't choose.) Service was friendly and good even though we were seated well away from the dining room. Such a nice place! Looking forward to a return visit the next time we're in Lancaster! read more

There MIGHT have been a soft music playing in the background but I'm not for sure. We could talk and hear one another without screaming. For our second visit we sat outside. Emily was our server and she was FANTASTIC! Super attentive and patient. Our cups were NEVER empty and she asked about our food at least 5 different times! Service is always great (especially in a day and age where restaurants everywhere are plagued with staffing issues), and we have yet to have a meal we didn't like. Reliable favorites include the pulled pork mac-n-cheese, the nachos, and the burgers. Our favorite meal, however, is the brunch offered on the weekends. Brought my friends here on a Hocking Hills hiking trip. It's about 30 min from our cabin, but so worth the drive. It was so great they wanted to come back again on our way home. We had the peanut butter and jelly wings and we had the Katsu Pimento melt. It was seriously the best sandwich I've ever had.
