I agree with several reviews. This was a good place for food and service but over the past year it has changed. We were treatedd very rude by the staff and were asked to leave. The manager (?) said that we caused a disturbance the last time we were there. We did not recall any disturbance. We were very confused. So we left. We will not be back again. It was Bizarre. First time a few weeks ago was excellent. This last trip was just meh. More so because they were out of the chicken dip (said the cream cheese didn't come in on the truck). Service was not as good as the first time either (a gentleman was waiting the bar, he was awesome) it's a little pricey for Baltimore but we don't have many options if we don't want to drive to Columbus. Our server was friendly. I had the club on sour dough with the house fries. The sandwich was everything you expect from a high end Club. Double decker, high quality meats and cheese, fresh lettuce and tomato. Bravo! The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated for the holidays. We ordered cocktails. I ordered the Frosty the Snowman and it was so tasty and cute with snowflakes floating on the top. We decided to share 10 boneless wings and a club sandwich. The service was not real together on this particular Sunday afternoon. My husband had to ask for his beer after he hadn't been served. And, we received the bill before we were ever served our wings. Hmmmm. They were good but the service was somewhat disjointed. Just spent an hour of my life that I will never get back waiting on food that apparently was never going to show up! Service there has always been spotty but tonight was new low. Party if four came in 15 minutes after we did and was severed, another party of 8 or more came 30 minutes after we and served! It was a bit cold in the restaurant, but service was good and my vodka soda was cold and stiff! The ambiance is good! I love the patio in the summertime, & you can bring your dog! They have a cute (and separated) bar and restaurant area inside as well so it really fits the different vibes one might look for. The food is also good! They can definitely make a solid burger. Service is typically super accommodating. My only reservations are that drinks are inconsistent--very much "order based on your bartender". The location exists within Trump territory so do with that information what you will. I don't know the owners stance and no employees have ever engaged me in political conversation which I appreciate so I don't mark this against Pint House, just be aware of your surroundings. read more

A good restaurant for the location. Baltimore Pint House is the only good place in town to eat. There's literally nothing else besides the ice cream place. It has the only food that can even remotely be gourmet. You can still find plenty of cheese and meat covered items. Beer is better than the food. It has a great beer menu. The Brown Nut Ale is the house favorite. It appears this is custom made for here. That may not be true, but that's what it looks like on the menu. It certainly is very good. This is about $6 for a pint. As for the menu there's a lot of big portions available. The menu is very meaty. Even the cheese dip is garnished with bacon. There's not much vegetarian to choose from. One exception is the pretzels, which come in puffy sticks served with the cheese. Try getting it with mustard or something. It's about $7 for a few sticks, which seems a bit too much. They also have macaroni and cheese, but that comes topped with bacon and pork. They seem to love covering things in barbecue drenched crispy pig products. It is very small inside. In the back is a separate dining area. This is good if you have a group because sitting at the bar will squish you. read more

Cool eclectic bar and eatery in downtown Baltimore. This town has had a heck of a time keeping independent mom and pop restaurants around. Every time I look another is shuttering, and it seems like the only thing sticking is the boring mass chains. BPH has been around for a year and a half. Kudos to this local spot, hope they thrive. The space is nice. A decent-sized bar on one side; go through the doorway and there's a handful of booths and a few four-top tables. The warm colors in addition to the exposed-brick wall add character. The menu's got a little bit if everything: apps, salads, some Mediterranean fare, sandwiches, wraps and burgers. They were able to make me a sandwich with their chicken salad spread on fresh sourdough bread. I went with fries as the side. The bread was great. Lightly toasted on the outside, yet easy to chew. I believe I heard the bartender correctly: They make their own bread? At any rate, I loved the chicken spread. The grapes and almonds added depth. Subtle flavors, which I love. We tried ordering drinks, and the small brew beer I wanted was out of stock. She let me try a sample of a different beer which I ordered. They were out of two of our appetizer selections so we ended up with the soft pretzels and cheese, and French onion soup. The pretzels and cheese were excellent! Quaint little pub with a ton of potential. They have a nice selection of craft beer including a collaboration beer of their own. My wife and I started with the BPH Bombs which are essentially fried pigskins and they were phenomenal. I ordered the turkey melt which had great bread but the meat and other ingredients didn't seem as gourmet. My wife ordered the Mac and cheese skillet. She liked the Mac and cheese but the bbq was fatty and the dish could have been warmer. You usually expect anything in a skillet to be bubbling but this seemed to be just warmed up. We absolutely love this place as it is just a mere 2 miles from our house. So grateful to have a nice selection of craft beer & delicious food so close to home! Seating can be limited as it is small and only has bar seating except for a table of 4. I'm giving it only 3 stars because every time we go, its absolutely freezing in there.....brrrrrr..... I understand the thermostat is in the kitchen, yet the patrons in the front of the building are frozen. To be honest, we won't visit again until they get the heat figured out, as everyone around us was eating in their winter coats = not fun.
