The pork belly was extremely tough, and the noodles were so overcooked they had the consistency of mashed potatoes. The crispy Brussels sprouts also missed the mark, as they were more soggy than crispy. Dessert, however, brought things back on track. We ordered the butter cake, and it was absolutely incredible. Hands down, it's the only dessert I'll order here going forward. Overall, this restaurant was a mix of highs and lows, but there were definitely more highs than lows. The food showed a lot of promise, the service was friendly, and several dishes were outstanding. I will definitely be back. That said, the kitchen really needs to figure out its timing, because a 75-minute wait between courses is simply too long.
