As someone who does not go to church often, and when I did it was usually a smaller church, mega churches always catch me off guard. The building itself is very beautiful, modern, and feels relatively new. The people were very kind and welcoming, which made the experience comfortable from the moment we arrived. The play was engaging and the actors were amazing. During intermission, they sold snacks for about one to two dollars, and if you were a guest of one of the actors or actresses, you were able to get additional bites, which was a nice touch. They also had small gifts as well! Overall, it was a perfect Friday night before Easter. At the end, the bishop and pastor came on stage and transitioned into an altar call. This is the part of the experience that can feel different depending on the person. After the initial call, not everyone responds right away, and the pastor continues to wait and encourage people to come forward, sometimes repeating the call multiple times. As more people began to go down, it extended the moment further. For some visitors, including myself and others around me, it felt a bit prolonged, especially after a three hour play. We were ready to leave but also wanted to stay for the closing prayer, so the length of the altar call made it a little difficult to sit through. I understand that this is an important and meaningful part of the service, particularly around Easter, and the pastor is following their calling. Even so, the overall atmosphere was very passionate and welcoming, and I imagine the sermons there are very impactful.

I went to the church next door on Branch Ave, they were speaking in tongue they say. I ease out. like pastor parker use to say I do not understand what they are saying. I also visited other churches no feelings until I came to Central the pastor and members made be feel welcome. I really like this church. I think the members did a wonderful job preparing for and working the picnic they worked very hard and was friendly and nice. I will volunteer next year for sure. I notice I did not see teenagers working they should have worked also at least pushing the water Mellon cart. The elderly worked hard that day and need a break some times.

Not to mention recently, I was parked in the parking lot to do some studying, I study better looking at nature or outside than I do in a Library .I was approached by one of the "deacons" who refused to tell me his name. he told me he would call the police on me for sitting in the parking lot, he proceeded to tell me that there are cameras watching all around Making me out to be a criminal. I politely told him no problem I will leave and I left. I would never go to this church again, nor will my children nor will I recommend. There is nothing holy about this place in my opinion. They only want your money. Honestly, it's because of people like that " Deacon", as to why I stopped going to church. I praise God everyday with myself and my family. I have never attended this church as far as to praise and worship, but I did send my child there…read morefor daycare. The staff and facility was great. The business aspect was horrible. The daycare center had been required to release the children under the age of three for not meeting something that they were required to provide for DC. I paid for my child to attend daycare for 8 hours. She was allowed to come to school on Monday and when I went to take her on Tuesday they brought me all of her things and told me she would not be able to return. So naturally I was upset. I had to take the day off from work, find another daycare, and was not refunded any money. I paid them for the entire week of $176 and was told that I had to call back. I called several times over the next few weeks to get the run around. Eventually I was told that I would not be getting any money back. So I had to take off a day from work, use many hours at work to call and find a daycare. Take off another 4 hours to go and interview other daycares and had to use other time to track down the director. For this establishment to be a church, I did not like the Un-God like way that I was treated. I would not recommend sending your child there if you pay out of pocket for daycare.
