Reception personnel were very efficient and friendly. The ER was busy yet the intake team was able to see to the initial needs of their patients in a very timely manner. Shortly after arrival, I was in X-ray. Again, very professional and concerned technicians. Thereafter, I was re-located to a treatment cubicle. I was immediately seen by a very wonderful nurse and then by an NP who explained that she, the Doctor and the Radiologist were heading to review the x-rays. In a few minutes, the Doctor came to tell me that I had broken wrist and elbow. She completely explained the nature of the injuries and recommended follow up actions. After casting, I was discharged. The quality of care that I received from the ER Team was superb.They are clearly a dedicated group of professionals.

They let me take my time getting up to leave as I have POTS and mixed with dizziness from anesthesia wasn't fun but they took such amazing care of me and I can't thank them enough! The only rude person I came across was at check in downstairs there was a younger woman who was tall and thin who was extremely rude to us but literally everyone else we talked to were BEYOND kind! Very modern clinics with confirtable seating while you wait. The staff is extremely caring and courteous. The actual process took no longer than 10 minutes. We arrived a little earlier than our appointment to make sure there was no other paperwork. there wasn't, everything's electronic. Cool. I highly recommend this breast clinic for mammograms. The only issue we had was traffic on Battlefield Blvd. The drivers on this stretch of Battlefield Blvd are not courteous. Make sure you are definitely in the correct lanes

Our most recent visits, mine was okay, but they told my 16-year-old son that his teeth are going to fall out if he doesn't start brushing better. I totally get it, but I have never in my life, even as a child, had a dentist tell me my teeth are going to fall out. He was really upset about that and how the visit went overall for him. My 19-year-old son just had his appointment and told me they told him the same thing along with some other negative things, and he was also very upset and scared to death. After sharing my experiences with him about the negativity and constant lecturing, he said he also overheard conversations of patients next to him in which they were being told this is wrong, that is wrong, go see this specialist, etc. I completely understand that we need to know if there are issues with our teeth, but again, in all the dentists I've been to throughout my whole life, I have never, ever experienced such negativity and lecturing as I have with Konikoff over the past four or five years we've been with them. I have to trust my gut instinct in thinking something just isn't right here. We will be canceling our future appointments and seeking care elsewhere. And, no, I don't want to contact the office directly because I've decided our relationship with Konikoff has come to an end.

Not only his surgery took a little over 2 hours, but he was discharged exactly 48 hours after I saw him still with breathing tube. It is a brand new department at CRH. He received royal post surgical care in their ICU where he stayed until he was discharged. Because of Dr. Coleman's "plate"technique, only restriction is not allowed to lift more than 15 lbs! He is still in pain, but moving around without any help from me! Thank you, Dr. Coleman and his team!!!

My experience with Dr. Julia Stevenson and Cardinal Plastic Surgery was a complete and utter…read moredisaster, and I urge anyone, especially women of color, to seek care elsewhere. As a Black woman, I felt deeply let down and mistreated by this practice. After my daughter had a breast reduction here (with mixed results, it went well, but her breast was not the B cup she requested), I decided to undergo a breast reduction with nipple graft myself, emphasizing to Dr. Stevenson right before my $20,000 surgery that symmetry and size (A cup) were my top priorities. What followed was a nightmare! Despite diligently following all post-operative instructions, I experienced severe bleeding and delayed wound healing. The nipple graft was an absolute catastrophe. I was left with severely scarred, unevenly sized, and horrifically discolored breasts. What was briefly mentioned as a potential for hyperpigmentation turned into a disfiguring reality. When the discoloration failed to resolve after several months, I contacted Dr. Stevenson's office. This is where the unprofessionalism truly began. I was subjected to at least THREE separate, billable VIRTUAL appointments to address concerns that should have been handled without additional fees. During an in-office consultation, Dr. Stevenson led me to believe that insurance approval for a revision surgery was a sure thing, promising a correction of the damage and a boost to my self-esteem. This turned out to be a cruel charade. After initial confusion and misinformation from her (now former) administrative assistant, it became clear that Tricare had denied the request, initially approving only injections that should have been administered immediately after the initial surgery. Another billable virtual appointment with Dr. Stevenson led to a plan to resubmit the request after a 90-day waiting period. When I asked about alternative options, she suggested plastic surgery to "fill in the discolored areas" or a procedure to "cut out the discolored areas" in her office, and then had the audacity to charge me for the latter, claiming it wasn't "minor." Skeptical that Tricare would approve a second breast reduction so soon after the first, I reluctantly waited. Her office failed to follow up, forcing me to initiate contact in early May. After further delays and lack of communication from her staff, a new administrative assistant submitted the request, which was ultimately denied by Tricare. On June 10th, I received a call informing me of the denial (days after I received a letter from Tricare). I requested a self-pay quote for the revision surgery, and as of today, June 18th, I am still waiting. From my perspective, Dr. Stevenson and her staff displayed a shocking lack of care and professionalism. Once they had my/insurance company $20,000, I felt completely devalued as a patient. This experience has been deeply traumatic, and I cannot stress enough how strongly I recommend seeking plastic surgery care elsewhere. Do not trust Dr. Julia Stevenson/Cardinal Plastic Surgery with your health or your money.
