I have had very little issue with insurance companies, mostly you can do everything with the 800…read morenumber, so I don't even know the point of having a local agent. I used this local, unfortunately. I had an accident and filed a claim using the 800 number they took care of everything in a timely fashion. State Farm dropped me after the accident, that sucks but I get it, the problem occurs when no one notifies you that you've been dropped. Even when you email your agent and ask point blank. I asked the secretary Cynthia Buck in an email if I had been dropped so my insurance wouldn't lapse as a result. In the same email chain she made up a story about an address change as the reason for the odd letter I received about my renters insurance. I only found out when the money was still in my account weeks later and then the letter from the DMV notifying my of a license suspension for not carrying insurance. It's a terribly unreliable firm, take you business to any other location. You will end up just talking to the 800 number anyways.
