And absolutely loving it!!!... I've been on a quest to find more! This here's not the same. Chicken was pretty good. Sorta reminds me of Church's. But not epic like that other gas station. Coating was pretty crispy, but again not epically. Chicken was medium juiciness, or at least the thighs were. Didn't have much selection though--looks like they make their fried chicken from mutants that only have thighs and wings. Dunno how they walk. Guess they don't need to. Maybe just hobble around on their stumps? The coated and fried potato wedges weren't crisp, and just didn't taste good. Biscuit was fine. I ordered a "snack" size and the cashier just upgraded me to something, saying it's the same price. It wasn't busy inside and it was clean. I like the hand painted art on the walls. It did have an odd smell in the place that I couldn't tell if it was just from the constant frying of chicken and oil or if there was an exposed sewer line. The food was great! The chicken was crisp, moist, and flavorful. The mac by itself was creamy and perfectly cooked. The hot seasoning actually had some heat to it with a slight sweetness. The bowl came with a cup of creamy sauce, which to me had a weird tangy flavor. I didn't end up using it. The portion was huge! I could've had some for lunch and the rest for dinner, but I ended up splitting it 3 ways with my two little ones. They thought it was spicy, but still ate it. Also, I only found it because of Yelp, so I should pay it forward! The service was incredible. I don't remember the young girls name, but my receipt says "KDS U" as server if that helps. She was so nice and patient with my millions of questions. And she pointed me in the right direction. When I got home and ate my 3 piece tenders with Mac n cheese, I was so happy. It was so tasty. I also got the classic and ranch sauce. She compared the classic sauce to raising canes, which was helpful. But I'll say this, the chicken is great without the sauce (unlike canes). I made sure to take my first bite before any dipping. The ranch is house made and also Delicious. And last, the price was great. I will definitely be back. I wasn't even that hungry and I devoured my food because it was so good! Thank you to the cashier again. She was so pleasant and helpful.

The chicken is nice and crunchy, and the thighs in the 2pc for $5 box were so moist and flavorful! Reminds me of a he Southern Fried chicken I grew up on (not the Colonel's.. this wasn't squishy). The usual guy behind the counter was out to lunch and we were helped by a lady from the gas station side who was filling in and she forgot the butter and honey, but not a big deal. The biscuits were good "as-is". You can also get fried pies for dessert! They're actually fried, and they're shaped like empanadas. Normally $1.49, only $1 each with purchase - you can't beat the deal. The Apple was so good, plenty of cinnamon and just the right amount of sugar. The Strawberry had cream cheese in it and hubby says the strawberry filling reminds him of his Mom's homemade preserves. Delicious! I've heard the potato wedges are also good but we were already full from the "snack boxes". Maybe next time! I also want to try their gizzards. I haven't seen those anywhere since I was a kid!
