When she returned, she told me that the person who placed the order had to physically be at the restaurant for it to "pop up." I had placed the order about 20 minutes earlier, so that didn't make sense. My husband then spoke with her and explained the same thing--that it was my order for a cheeseburger redeemed with my rewards points. What bothered me most was how I felt I was being treated. I may not have looked my best that evening, but I have never stolen anything, and I certainly wouldn't try to steal a free cheeseburger that I had legitimately redeemed with my own points. I left feeling embarrassed and judged instead of helped. I understand that technology can have issues, but customer service matters.
