My daughter got addicted to this place on a recent camping trip…read more It all started when my daughter went shopping during the day while most of our group was out risking our lives white water rafting. When we came back I could see something had changed in her. Instantly she starts to tell the group about this coffee spot she found. She started mumbling something about going back. It was her wide open eyes when she spoke that threw up the most curiosity. We agreed to have their coffee the next morning. She was bummed out and continued to bring up that place several more times that night. The next morning we sent a few from our group to go and get coffee for our large group. When they returned my daughter was thrilled. We all tried our different coffees and sampled some of the others and none of them tasted bad, even the caramel one was ok. That's right caramel is not a tasty drink, I said it. I drove by the place and it looked nice and clean but I never stepped in or encountered any employees. I just really enjoyed the coffees I tried but thank goodness I didn't get addicted like my poor daughter.

We also tried the quiche, almond croissant and blueberry lemon scone. (It wasn't all for me ). They were all delicious but that's not why I left this review. We had been to just about every store in this town and it would appear no one likes living here. I don't blame them. The ladies at this place all had such a great attitude, were happy and smiling and that made the experience so much better. I would definitely recommend eating here. 10/10!!!! Thank you for having such a positive attitude!!

On the way home we hit this place for lunch. It was a younger looking girl at the register who didn't seem alarmed by the immediate rush of people who added to the already semi-long line. A couple times she shouted that she was "sorry for the wait" and that there was "only two of them". I immediately thought "oh no". Our group arrived before breakfast cutoff time but since we were in line so long it was well past the cutoff by the time we could order breakfast. Some were bummed but found alternatives. I went with a bacon burger and onion rings. Both were very good with the onion rings were excellent. The shakes looked good but I wasn't adventurous enough to try some before our long drive home. The place was clean, even the bathroom. I was very impressed with the work ethic of the two employees. Kudos to the owner or hiring manager.

We love spending the day fishing and chilling. Our normal fishing spot finally opened up near lunchtime. We had been waiting since 5 am and now that we had gotten it, all of us did not want to give up our spot so we opted to pick something up and eat it on the river. Usually while in Kernville we hit up another spot, BUT that place literally gave 5 out of the 6 of us explosive diarrhea. We always see how packed Mcnally's outpost is , and one of our party members said the original one was good. We arrived and were greeted immediately. The service is phenomenal , they are so polite and helpful. They even remembered to give me the soda when the food was ready. That is where the positives end. The prices are exorbitant!!! My god. 25$ for a burger, that does not come with fries or a drink. I got a double bird chicken sandwich , my wife got a double smash and a drink and my friends got a bacon cheeseburger. It was 100$! One. Hundred. Dollars. US. Jesus. Christ. Now, for the price, I was really hoping the food would be killer. It was not. My shredded chicken was dry , and smothered in a funky tasting BBQ sauce. My wife is typically not one to complain but even she disliked her burger. My buddy didn't even eat his. There is no way local people are coming to eat here. It must be all the tourists tubing and fishing or camping for the weekend hoping for a good burger and leaving sad, with a much lighter wallet. Fries were solid! Everyone in the group did enjoy those. An additional positive note, this kernville restaurant didn't give the group the hershey squirts so that is also a plus.

Let's me say this.... I love burgers. I eat at least 5 burgers a week and try to find a new place…read moreevery time. So when I say I've had thousands of burgers... I really mean it. It seems almost impossible to replace the #1 spot in my book of best burgers... McNally's shockingly took it by storm! The burger they made me wasn't even on their menu. I explained to them I love trying and experiencing the best burgers. They were confident that they could make one of the most incredible burgers I've had. I was doubtful, not going to lie. Especially since this burger wasn't even advertised. Whoah.... They blew me away! They made me a monster bacon burger with carmelized onions, jalepenos, and their pettiness absolutely cooked to perfection . I have no idea why this beast isn't in their menu. I paid $35 for the burger and I'd gladly pay it again. If I remember correctly it was a 1/3 lb pattie cooked to medium. Oh my God... I have been in love and thinking about this burger for a whole week. The most incredible experience aside from the unmatched burger, was the experience and customer service. Everyone was so cool, fun, and just so incredible. The owner walked around each table to introduce himself and you could clearly see his pride and love for the restaurant. The staff was fun and the ambiance was perfect with the river view from their deck. Thank you McNallys for the amazing experience! I will guaranteed be back and very soon. Burger not on the menu, but needs to be bragged about!

Yes,That bad. A skimpy ration of what they put between the rye toast and the disgusting over pricing - I gladly welcome vs. the "effects" of it on the human body. The rudeness, teribble service, and ignorance of the owner, and staff there goes right along with the effects of what happens afterwards. I would appreciate it if I were issued a T- shirt reading " I survived Cheryl's Diner" to serve as fair warning to those who are not aware. I believe in supporting the "Mom & Pop" establishments in our communities, but I would have to bet that "Pop" suffered and exited - after dining in this place. This would be a perfect target for Chef Gordon Ramsey to visit. Can't imagine the horror he'd find in the walk in freezer. Needless to say, If given the choice- I would choose military MRE's over this futile attempt of actually considering this place a " Diner". The loud gossip between the waitresses should have been enough of an indicator to leave. The results of the effects on the human body after eating there though, will assure that I will NEVER return. Actually, I feel it's only fair to warn others of the results of this poor choice. I would seriously consider beginning a "fast" to going through all that again. I'd love to admit I am exaggerating- were that the case. If they have " negative" grades on rating the "cuissine"- This place is a banner reason why. I can only offer my appology to my date, and fair warning to any who consider eating there. I would go onto the lack of cleanliness of the restrooms- but I am truly ready to simply let the memory of the place fade, and become an automatic warning to avoid it at all costs in the foreseeable future. If I had to sum it up on one word, I rekon "Disgusting" would do.

I wish I would've caught her name, because she made my day !!Second thing I would like to mention is the price and how huge the portions are. The price was comparable to everywhere else and it was not marked up for being how far it was away from the actual Kernville town. If you don't know, there's only so many places to eat in the Kernville town and up on the mountain, especially for vegetarians, so I feel like I've pretty much tried them all except for some strange reason I haven't tried the McNally's down in the Kernville town, but will now !...But what I wanted to mention, and I will name some other places nameless, but I've ordered stuff and spent $20+(which I feel is normal these days unfortunately) and left still feeling hungry. But not at McNally Burgers !! I ordered the impossible burger, which was huge and I also ordered a large side of fries, freaking delish !!! The only thing I'm bummed about is that I've been coming up here for about five years now and I haven't stopped here sooner. Bravo McNally's !! Thank you for having an awesome veggie option on the menu for us I will definitely start being a regular customer up the road and in town ! And I haven't checked yet, but please put some awesome veggie option on the menu at the steakhouse for me when I come back up !
