I had a water pump installed at Chestertown Auto Parts/Marine in January 2026. In April 2026, my truck broke down in the Annapolis area due to the water pump being defective. Unable to drive to Chestertown, I had the part replaced at another dealer. When I reached out to Chestertown Auto Parts/Marine, I was informed that Chestertown Goodyear would not honor any warranty because I didn't bring the broken down vehicle back to their shop. I was given a general Goodyear number to call for reimbursement, but was told since the Chestertown location was an independent Goodyear service center, I had to contact Chestertown again for assistance. I had four tires replaced. i had an issue with the tire sensor after we had flood waters cover our tires. I spoke with the tech about my new tires and the flood issue. this was the standard you look for in a technician but rarely find. he was experienced, conscientious and passionate about his work. it was a road trip from Grasonville but i will go back when my wife needs new tires. read more

They charged significantly higher than national average and what I have paid in the past for a bearing change. They also did an oil change. When I got the car back it had developed a strong petro smell after about 30 minutes of driving. Never had it before that. Everyone who has been in the car said they can smell it. Oddly enough the owner and his crew can't smell it. Said they couldn't resolve the issue. Do not use this place. read more

Took a truck for alignment was told by the owner Phil Demarco the fee would be 89.99. Was contacted by text from the service manager brian grussing that it needed a caster adjustment i called him moments later to get the price for that adjustment he stated it was already done and the bill was nearly 230.00. This is unapproved work it is against state law to charge 50.00 over an agreed upon estimate. They offered no resolution to this illegal conduct. will be consulting our attorney and also following up with BBB and all online review platforms to get this message out . MY TRUCK WAS DAMAGED BY AUTO PLUS/MARINE I visually inspected the vehicle thoroughly before I handed the keys over and there was zero damage to the windshield. When the inspection was complete I was informed that the truck had failed for two reasons. Reason one was the tires stuck out too far, that's reasonable. The second reason was for two cracks in the windshield over one inch and over 50 small chips in the glass. Now I had been over every square inch of this truck in the previous few days and know every small imperfection of the truck, of which there are not many. Upon inspection by me indeed there were two large chips and many dings in the windshield that were not there previously. Also upon inspection I noticed the hood of the truck covered in grinder dust with chips in the rubber surrounding the windshield also. As I was in the waiting room there was constant grinding going on in the shop, I assume somebody not being cautious with the grinder peppered my truck with metal and did not want to be held accountable. DO NOT TRUST. Took my car for an inspection.. then reinspection there when I decided to get another shop to fix the struts that failed on my car due to their high costs. At the reinspection, they put my car up on the ramp, and reinspected the alignment that they already passed a few weeks before, since I didn't have the alignment paperwork available from the other shop to show that the car was aligned. They informed me via phone that if I had the paperwork, they would be able to observe the fixed struts from the ground, without putting the car back up on the ramp (which goes against state law since they were fishing to find something wrong with my vehicle). They refused to pass my car until I fixed the things that they said "failed". State police informed me when I reported them that this is a frequent problem with this specific shop. Would give 0 stars if I could. Very shady, and will rip you off any chance they get. read more

DON'T GO HERE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. A Bunch of Ripoffs. Asked to get tires mounted on wheels, and an alignment done on Saturday 2/18/17. Quoted me $100 for Mounting and $90 for Alignment. Completely False. First, they Scratched my Brand New Wheels while mounting and balancing. NO RESPECT for personal property. Charged me extra because i had "Exotic Tires Mounted." What the hell are exotic tires? They were Bridgestone Potenza! Nothing "Exotic" About that!! Now the alignment. My car is on an adjustable suspension, full Camber/toe/caster adjustment. Took Them 2 days and its not right at all. 2 DAYS for an Alignment! Told me the first guy was fresh out of "Alignment School" and didn't know what he was doing....so they'll have it ready Monday... Said the experienced tech is in Monday so he'll take care of it. Well Monday came around, Kevin said he tried to Call me all day.... but couldn't get a hold of me on my cell. What a lie, I use my cell phone for work, constantly getting email and texts so apparently he didn't call. Said the Alignment is not right and they can't get it right, because the parts are not correct. Completely False, parts are correct, they Don't know what they are doing. They Charged me $450! FRAUDS. SCRATCHED MY WHEELS AND RIPPED ME OFF. Wanted to keep the car another day, so they could charge me an insane amount more. I said no, had to pay and left. Called another shop, explained the situation took the car in, and the that shop laughed at the fact that these guys couldn't get the alignment right. I wont say any names, so lets call him K. K told me a story how he would never treat a customer poorly because of something he had witnessed. In the story the owner screwed a customer over and the said customer dump a plate of Spaghetti over the owner at a restaurant they had happen to be at. You know the stereotype of the shady mechanic that takes advantage of people that don't know any better? That's these guys right here. Went in for a simple service (not because I couldn't do it myself, but because I didn't have time), and was charged for several other items I was not told about. Also, what was supposed to take 90 minutes took 4 hours. When I called another mechanic in Chestertown to question them, they asked me if I dealt with a man named Phil. I said yes, and then the mechanic laughed and told me he wasn't surprised that happened to me. Evidently Phil has a long history of this sort of shady business practice. Never again will I go there, and I'll tell everybody I know to stay away from these people. read more

Took my truck to them for the $29.99 service special.Not bad had to replace front pads and rotors within 3000 miles. Never was told that the were getting low and was part of their inspection. Took a car to them for service and state inspection, Failed inspection for tires and out of alignment. Alignment was supposed to be checked with the service and was not done. Tire pressure lite was on and tire pressure was not regulated. Took car back to them just to let them know. What a mistake from the service writer to the tech they are outlandishly rude and treat all of their customers like they are stupid. Place is a joke. Owner stood by and never said a word. This is a business to avoid. Out of 6 customers that came in while I was there 4 received a hard time. Take your car somewhere else. read more
