They don't try to upscale you on service. Jiffy Lube is notorious for this...they tenaciously doggedly try to up-sale on work you might not need...they take you out to the bay like cattle and read from the computer screen things you might not need then your cramped inside a tiny wait room like sardines ...then there's different people working there each time you go. I stopped going there for these reasons. The shop guys at Mr Tire in the Symrna location are not like that. Same guys each time. If they see something that needs attention or replacement they inform you, then you make the decision to get it done without pressure. Show wait room is usually quiet. I look forward going there each time and catch up with reading or just pausing a little from a busy schedule. Keep up the good work guys. You have my business. October 19, 2017 I've attempted a few times to get a Basic oil change and tire rotation. No problems in the past with walking in and waiting. As of lately the last 3 attempts I was told I needed an appointment 3-5 days out. Say what? So I've been doing it my self except for the tire rotation. They tighten the lug nut too much were as I cannot loosen them. I was going out of town so wanted to rotate the tires myself. Called them to see if they could loosen them. They said I needed an appt. say what? I show up and begged them to just loosen them and I'd take it from there. They would not do it unless I had an appointment. Now how long would it have taken to loosen the nut lugs using their air gun? Rode up the street and a lesser known tire place loosen them for me for $10. I was glad to pay it and they did it rather quick. Never again the Mr Tires in symrna.

When they removed the spark plug, they found oil in the well. So they determined that the leak was caused by a bad gasket. They replaced the gasket, spark plugs, and did an oil change. That cost me $2300. They next day, I noticed a bigger oil leak and the smell of burning oil. I took my car back in and after investing, Mr. Tire determined that the turbo line was leaking. They said they did not have the ability to order the part or complete the work and recommended I take my vehicle to the dealership. So, now my vehile is leaking and burning oil worse than before I brought it in originally. (The excessive oil leak and smell of burning oil was not happening before the original visit). Now, I can not drive my vehicle due to the danger of the oil line feed spraying oil and causing an engine fire. After spending $2300, my car is worse off than when I had it serviced.

I came in for…read morean oil change and it was recommended per my company fleet vehicle regulations to get one done. They had a new employee perform the tire rotation and you could tell from the beginning that she didn't know what she was doing. She stripped one of my lug-nuts. I wound up being there for hours because they couldn't get the tire off. They had to order a new lug nut. I drive my car extensively for work. She barely finished doing the job. She was ready to have my car pulled out for f the bay before they realized she made a huge mistake. They had to put the wheels on the side they started back to their original position. I had to leave with 1 missing lug nut. They had to order a new lug nut for me. So now I have to return. This was a disgrace. I don't have a problem with a female preforming this job as long as she's experienced which she wasn't and monitored since she's a new employee. Totally irresponsible and unprofessional! I hope she spent lose her job but she definitely needs more training.

The said it was the condenser and would cost $1,200.00 to repair We authorized the repair and picked it up that afternoon (bill was $1193.94). When it was next driven over 3 miles, the exact same thing happened, the cold air turned hot. We took it back and they said that now a line is leaking and the repair would be another ~$370.00. Not wanting to have wasted the $1,200 we had spent, we told them to go ahead with replacing the line. (That bill was $346.52). Again, the next time we drove it, it blew hot air after 3 miles. We brought it back again, and this time they said the compressor needs to be replaced and that will cost another $700.00. We lodged a complaint and the district manager looked into it and said they would split the $700 repair with us, so we would only. We'd to give them ANOTHER $350.00, which would bring our total to $1890.46. I never thought a company as large as Firestone would turn out to be so shady. Thanks for literally nothing, Firestone, you should have been honest about what this repair would entail. If you had said it will cost $1,800.00 up front, we could have decided to live with no a/c in the truck, but instead, we're $1,540.46 poorer and are still forced to live with no a/c in the truck. I would strongly recommend avoiding this establishment at all costs, this has been a nightmare and we don't have money to waste.
