I was not happy as I drove 30min to get something nice from here instead of Binnys. These guys have an impressive Tequila selection online and I wanted to see what they had in person. Ok, so 2nd visit. I was working down the street and it was early afternoon. I figure they have to be open. They were! First impressions were great as they guy working was super nice and gave me store hours etc, lol (10am-10pm). They have a VERY GOOD TEQUILA Selection!! I bought 3 bottles that I wanted to try. Here's the only odd part about this store. They literally have a wall of bottles I swear 15ft high?! You cannot even see what is up there. They have to get a lift and go up if you want something. But how do you know what is even there? The website doesn't show you stock of the specific stores so you can't tell that way either. They do have some hard Cider choices that I'm a fan of in the walk in beer cave. Service was absolutely friendly and staff was very helpful. For the life of me, I could not tell you at least three alcoholic beverages that this liquor store has because I come here mostly for Arizona drinks, which this place has a limited selection of. When I visit this location there is that requirement to have a purchase that equals at least $5 in order to use debit card, which prompts me prior to visiting to always have cash instead of using credit card. If not I go elsewhere because that can get annoying purchasing $5 worth of items that you really do not want at the moment. Another thing that I can say about this location is that it's not a hangout spot for panhandling alcoholics compared to most liquor stores, but maybe that's because of the times of my visits, which are very random visits that are mostly near closing time. Encountering middle age panhandling alcoholics are very annoying because they stare you up-and-down before asking you for loose change, however Morton Grove is a much more classier area compared to most neighborhoods throughout Chicago/Chicagoland. I went and looked at the beer options and was really impressed to find some beer that I wouldn't find in a grocery store or at Beer on the Wall in Park Ridge-good beer goes fast down there, but this place has so many great options, not just beer. Sure, things are not all chilled to take and drink right away, but a large selection of beer and wine are available cold. Nice they're ok with dogs, as my mom was happy her dog Apricot welcome while she shopped. The wonderful masked woman at the even found a plastic cup to give our pooch a drink.
