Al Rayan Syrian Arak, very hard to find, and delicious
    Erika G.

Great store! We stopped here randomly to pick up a bottle of booze to mix cocktails for a night in on Saturday. ALLAAAAHH! I saw a bottle of Arak, the most delicious Syrian drink ever. What is this!?! A WHOLE WALL of Arak beverages, including the very hard to find Al Rayan Syrian Arak (now made in Lebanon, it looks like, because Suweida has some . . .troubles). Most made in Lebanon, some Jordanian . . . what to pick? I've never seen most of these brands. WOW. Then, explore the rest of the store. Middle Eastern groceries, a LARGE, well organized spice area. So much goodness! They have tons of housewares as well. Need to make rice for 300, as my former mother in law used to do? Got you covered! An enormous stock pot to make food for everyone. GIANT trays? Yes. I acquired a sort of fetish for trays in my time in the ME, and this place again, HAS YOU COVERED. Carry out enough food for 15 of your friends on one of the gargantuan trays available here. Small pots for Arabic coffee, large white bowls for serving the family and ALL your friends, glasses, tablecloths. Just a few more of the gems I saw on offer. Fishnet stockings for $2.49. Kitchen implements. Sets of espresso cups and saucers. Elegant, gold trimmed glassware. Tea kettles. Socks! Shahata - plastic house sandals for hanging out at home. Candles, nail polish - EVERYTHING YOU NEED. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Got two more pairs of their wonderful reading glasses today. $2.49 each, complete with a case!

II love this neighborhood store. They are great for convenience items. They are close by, and great in a pinch for items that you'd spend a lot more for at Walgreens or CVS. They have housewares and basic food necessities, also. Not so much for groceries, but just if you need something fast and don't want to deal with a chain. My whole family likes coming here.

Giving 1 star because Yelp won't let me give any lower…read more AVOID this Walgreens pharmacy at all cost. I've been waiting to pick up a prescription that was called in 9 hours ago. Got a text 8 hours ago that it was ready for pickup. Drive thru was 6 cars deep so I went inside. You have to check in at a kiosk and then wait. And wait. I've been waiting here for 25 minutes trying to get a prescription that's been ready for 8 hours!!! The older woman at the counter could not be more rude. But seriously. Nobody is checking anyone out. You have to check in and wait for them to call you. Whzt happened to getting in line nf taling the next peron in line. Unfortunately my choice with my insurance is mail order or Walgreens. And this was something that was needed same day. Absolutely HORRIBLE. AVOID AVOID AVOID

There's little for me to say that others haven't complained about. I hate being one of these…read morepeople, but I've not encountered a person more callous in a while. I arrived to have their shutters closed in my face. Literally. I didn't say a word. I waited at the store. When the reopened, they took everyone else. Apparently you're supposed to check in at the kiosk even if you're not here for a vaccine. When I told him that I've been here and he saw me prior to their break. He told me he wouldn't help me unless I check in at the kiosk. I said I've been waiting for like 40 min here to pick up antibiotics for a 5-yr-old, he told me "everyone is here for medication." I want to cry from the helplessness I feel waiting for my sons medicine as he lays at home crying from the pain--while this man at the pharmacy enjoys his ego trip--but I just sit here. Still waiting. Now it's 50 min. No end in sight. I can already see that he's going to have a bright future in healthcare. Good job, Walgreens pharmacy.

I haven't experienced such horrible customer service like the one I just had a few hours ago here…read more Maybe there's a slight chance that management sees this and re-trains their staff. I went in to make returns. I walked up to the register, no one's there. A female worker (her badge indicated she's been with Walgreens for some time) finally saw me and rudely said, "What?" I said I needed to make returns. With a harsh tone she proceeded to ask me a series of questions and made some rude comments. "What's wrong w/ those?" "Do you have the coupon?" "People usually bring back the coupon." Apparently I was given a coupon when I made the purchase, but I had no idea you had to return that too (never had this issue with previous returns), also, I don't even know where it is. I was returning 3 items from 2 different receipts and the whole process was handled so poorly. I've worked in retail, and she couldn't have made me feel like I'm causing a huge inconvenience. She even messed up, further slowing the whole process down (there's a bunch of people waiting behind me) and made it seem like I was the one at fault. The whole process could've taken less than 5 mins IMHO and w/o so much attitude :(

Uh, I can see why this Walgreens has the Yelp ratings it does. This review is about the pharmacy…read moreoperation and staff. We were helping an extended family member with picking up her prescription. Her doctor at the walk-in clinic sends over an electronic prescription order. We go there to pick it up and the inept technician just says they don't have such an order. On a Saturday afternoon, I try calling the walk-in office to make sure it was sent to the right Walgreens but only get an answering service. As the clinic is still open and is thankfully only 10 minutes away, I drive back there and have it confirmed that the order did go to the right place and their paperwork says receipt was confirmed. We go back to this Walgreens and confront the inept technician and she hands it off to her colleague with her hands up and without saying a word and she walks away. The colleague, who was at least empathetic, has to fumble around and finally finds the order, so they do in fact have it but the pharmacist can't fill it quite yet because the order is not entered yet into their system (duh). By who or by what automation, I don't know, but eventually after another 30 minutes, the order is finally filled with some prodding. The pharmacist at least talked empathetically, but still seemed slow at filling the order given the hassle we had gone through. I asked where he inept technician went, and apparently it was the end of her shift, so she just walked out without saying a word to anyone, including the colleague and pharmacist, and apparently went home. This pharmacy is like being in the Twilight Zone, weird. Other family members have told me even when they get messaged that a prescription is ready, it really isn't when you arrive. My advice is to avoid this pharmacy if you can. If you can't, give them plenty of lead time for a prescription because it will take them that long. I'm just glad I'm not a regular customer here, and I have not experienced such buffoonery at other Walgreens pharmacies. On the plus side though, this is the only Walgreens I have seen that has a traffic light for their parking lot entrance, which is very convenient when leaving.
