However, the primary reason my experience is always excellent at Union is Tee -- he consistently provides an awesome haircut, great conversation, and makes the process seamless. I've been getting my hair cut by Tee for about 5 years now, and I can confidently say that I'll always trust Tee to give me an excellent cut. I've since moved further away, and my drive to the shop is an hour, but it's worth it to know I'm always going to get the same consistent experience, professionalism, and be able to catch up with Tee. After all this time, Tee knows my preferred style without asking any questions, and also knows how to adapt to however my hair decides to behave on the day of (even when I end up missing a couple weeks and going longer between cuts. But the main reason I'm writing a negative review is after finally getting seated, I find the chair and counter station is full of hair and dirty from the previous client. The stylist isn't prepared and disappeared again to grab the steam machine! So not only did they rob me of my time but after patiently waiting, they robbed my experience. I didn't feel comfortable and lost trust in the cleanliness of the entire place because what else is rushed at this point! Absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful to other people time.

Went with similar style (off-center part) either hanging loose or pony tail. Cut at least 6 inches so major work, about 45 minutes total. It hangs with perfect balance, wonderful shaping, and so much weight off my neck. Highly recommend him. He was friendly, courteous, and despite being in the middle of doing some maintenance around the property and being ready to go home due to no scheduled clients for the day, he squeezed me in at 3pm. I've been going to that royal oak location for the last 2 owners and this is my favorite stylist to date. Will be going back again. Good vibes all the way, nice ambiance and he's making changes to the building (paint and such) to hide the ugly HVAC and make it have better appeal.

He comes out to cut other foreign peoples hair. He had no one working there today because the nice Korean guy quit from there. The fat owner says "no walk-ins" today ZERO customers inside and a sign outside the door on sidewalk saying walk ins welcome. Never again will I go there! Additionally he charges an additional fee for using credit cards. Tips must be left in cash only you can't add it to your bill. Tons of other places around. He'll be closing I hope. Even the restaurant staff will tell you he's an ass hole. Hope you close!! work out of a basement.
