If you don't want dug up lawns, stones spewed all over your yard and deck and hitting your house, a broken pipe and several unreturned phone calls, please don't hire them to plow or snow blow your driveway. Mike, the owner, was rude when giving an estimate for a gas fire pit. As soon as he saw the steps (maybe 10 or so) and newly poured patio, said we should have had the pit done prior because now bringing equipment down was going to ruin the newly planted grass on the hill. His comment "well I guess you can pay to get that repaired again" I said "No, we don't want to do that we'll pay more to have it brought down manually". His reply "Then you'll get another company". Chevalier installed a BEAUTIFUL water feature in my back yard this summer. Working with Mike Frank was wonderful; he listened to our ideas, and then turned around and offered us things that we wouldn't have even dreamt of. In the end, we were left with an absolutely stunning water feature that is a tremendous addition to our back yard. It's perfect for sitting on the swing and relaxing next to, or sitting on the deck and enjoying a glass of wine in the evening, listening to the soothing sounds of water. Every step, from the initial consultation to the final "start-up" went perfectly. We dealt with some weather delays that slowed things, but Mike and his team were very upfront about everything, and we all know, we can't control mother nature. I look forward to working with Chevalier on future landscaping projects. read more

I was totally disappointed! I had them out to take a look at a good size project I needed completed. They told me they would call me in two weeks with a quote. After waiting 4 weeks I called them and was told someone would call me back right away. 2 MONTHS later I have still heard nothing from them!! I obviously will NOT be using them in the future!! read more

I called for an estimate. I was told that I had to be present for the estimate and I rearranged my work schedule to make this happen at the time the company selected. I met with the employee for the estimate, they did their part, then they left. I never received an estimate or heard from anyone again. This was an excellent waste of time. read more

I wouldn't recommend wasting your time with this company, came out to take measurements to install landscaping in the spring, said he would get back to me to give me a quote, called a few times but nothing, dont get why they didn't tell me they weren't interested in my business rather than waste my time before hiring a more reputable company read more

They build beautiful temporary structures such as Plantasia. However, when it comes to an outdoor structure designed to be enjoyed year after year they fail. Our project was a five year nightmare that ended with having to contract with another contractor to correct Chevalier's failure in structure and project finishing. We trusted the owner - Mike Frank - who sold us on the quality of their craftsmanship and commitment to his customers. He wasn't worthy of our trust and isn't worthy of yours. There are many skilled and honorable contractors out there. Sadly, Chevalier is not one of them. read more

We had Chevalier redesign our landscaping last year. "Miss Sue" and her team came up with great ideas to transform our overgrown, tired landscaping into something fantastic and full of color. They completed the project timely and then last year's heatwave and drought hit. Everyday I spent the better part of my day making sure that our "investment" stayed hydrated. I was worried some wouldn't survive (at no fault to Chevalier). This spring I had blooms and everything looks beautiful. We couldn't be more pleased with Miss Sue and Chevalier! They are worth every penny. read more
