So mid Nov comes, David arrives and cleans the FP, charges us several hundred dollars and 5 minutes after he leaves it goes off again. I called immediately and left a message. A woman said they needed to order a part. We've called half a dozen times since then and get no response. It's been weeks and no one has even given us a single update. We either get the answering machine or a woman tells us she'll let David know we called. I'm so very frustrated over this. We've had this gas fireplace for many years and have never had a service issue with the former owner. I really miss having it on!

Heard decent reviews about company , needed a smaller chimney replaced on my small cape home .. 2…read moreyoung guys came over , set up scaffolding , 1 guy on roof doing the work , took about 5 hours max ... tear down chimney and erect new chimney .. After job was done was told , need new flue ... after waiting for that estimate finally received it $2500 more after paying $2800 for the chimney ... Had that company come over beforehand look at chimney never told me it needed a flue ... Also they reused old tin cap and assembly on top and now it looks bent after reinstall ! Just can't believe $2800 for 5 hours work , what do bricks and a little mortar cost ? Grant it something I can't do , only because of my age ! Understand costs of running a business and making a profit and having a couple of 25 year old kids , I expected at least a whole new tin cap and everything new ... Should have been told about flue as when the chimney was first looked at .... All I can say do homework get a few more estimates ! Will get other quotes on a flue !

They had to replace a few parts and part of doing so meant they had to go around to every baseboard and let air out. It was a big job that took a couple hours but they were friendly and respected our home by taking off shoes, etc. we felt the price was spot on. We'd definitely call these guys again.

Armor looked for a new board for us that evening then sent a technician out on Christmas morning at 9AM to check the unit. They were able to find a new board on Thursday morning and installed it at 10AM. We can not say enough about the level of service as well as knowledge of the unit. Mark and Nick at Armor were genuinely concerned about our access to heat and due to two space heaters, we were able to stay at home and made our Christmas dinner.
