We used Franks to bury gutters, install a new bubbler at the street, and changed plumbing for our…read moresump pumps. This was not an inexpensive job compared to other contractor prices, but we went with Franks because of their reputation. Not everything went exactly to plan, a couple things were missed by people, but Frank called me personally because he was not happy with the execution of the project. I wasn't even that upset because they felt like minor annoyances compared to past contractor experiences I have had. They had already communicated that they intended to send different people out to fix them, but Frank went above and beyond! See during and final pictures! We fully intend to use them again for some future basement projects. Listen, you can't control everything everyone does as an employee of your company, but you can make it right. And if you aren't sure if a company you hire is going to have your back if something goes wrong unexpectedly or something gets missed, then just choose Frank's because they are just incredible at taking care of their customers. Above and beyond!! We are grateful to have them!

Also no clean out on that wall. I'm told the sump is the low point. Hard to get water in when it's built up higher than the floor level. I have water lines that need draining before winter and it goes onto the floor and it pools up nowhere near a "clean out". If it's only a "clean out " why is it sloped downward? I guess that explains why its at a point the water doesn't go to. Not a drain. Grr. Also my water intrusion shot right past the bright wall and created a pond nowhere near a "clean out " coincidentally the area the water pulls up at is where the drain used to be before they removed it. Also, during the recent heavy rain for days, if you look in the inspection, clean out port, there is no water flowing. It does not follow the drain tile. It's beneath it. Their solution to water pond in the low area was to build a dam to prevent

The owner sat down with us and explained everything so we knew exactly what we were getting and how the job would be done. And the price was very comparable to other companies. The crew showed up everyday at the time they said they would be there. They were so friendly and patient. They kept everything very clean as they went along. The foreman kept us informed as the job progressed and answered all our questions. They did a wonderful job and I highly recommend this company if you value a company that has good employees and leaves you with a good quality product/service with no hassles.

They returned, gave me the same presentation, and I signed the contract. At this point I gave them the first of three payments. They came to do the work and then proceeded to tell me that the exterior work they promised would not be done because of the driveways on either side of the house. Mind you, they were here TWICE to see the property. I told them I certainly expect a discount on the $14,500 bill. They said it was completely their mistake and that they did not look close enough when they came for the estimate. They said they would forgo the last payment of $4860 but would not refund me the additional $2,500 for only doing half the work. Utech Waterproofing said the work should have only costed $7816. I will likely end up in court with Locktight if I don't get a refund. All they want is you to sign a contract and get your money. Will keep you posted...

UPDATE: We originally took this review down at Gage's request, as we were actively communicating…read morewith him to get our driveway fixed. After two months, multiple no-shows for appointments he himself set to sign a new contract, and now complete ghosting--ignoring calls and texts--we are done. This is not just disappointing, it is unacceptable. Consider this a clear warning: think twice before hiring him. Across multiple review platforms, you will see the same pattern repeated--poor communication, disregard for property, and a consistent failure to deliver on promises. Our experience is not an outlier; it reflects a broader issue in how this business operates. ____________________________________________________________________ Original Review: We've held off writing this review for nearly two years, hoping we wouldn't have to. Unfortunately, the latest issue made it clear we can't stay silent. This isn't something we do lightly, and we acknowledge upfront that we took a risk going with a younger contractor. We wanted to give him a shot. That was our choice--and ultimately, our lesson learned. In April 2023, we hired Buffalo Niagara Concrete to pour a new driveway, sidewalk, and back patio. Gage, the owner, was initially polite and responsive. On pour day, the crew arrived on time, but Gage left midway. At first glance, the work looked fine, but the professionalism of the crew was lacking. We even provided lunch, only to later find paper plates, pizza crusts, and other trash scattered in our yard. Tools, mesh, and leftover materials were left behind. Some were eventually retrieved, but most we had to haul away ourselves. It left the impression that once the concrete was poured, cleanup and customer care were no longer priorities. We later learned Gage hires union workers per job--not employees of his company--which makes it even more important for him to oversee and inspect the work. That did not happen in our case. Serious issues soon followed. Control joints were cut when the driveway was still too soft, leaving gouges and jagged edges. Rain then revealed a bigger flaw: the slope near our garage man door was poured wrong, causing water to pool and leak inside, damaging drywall. It took weeks to get a reply from Gage. Eventually, he sent workers to cut and repour that section, but the patch was rushed and sloppy, with chipped surrounding concrete and a mismatched finish. The remaining cuts were delayed, then finally done, but left crooked and uneven. At that point, we gave up trying to have it fixed. By spring, the driveway had significant pitting--far beyond normal wear for only two years. Several respected contractors inspected it, all agreeing it was from poor product or application. Each urged us to reach back out to Gage, noting that any reputable contractor should stand behind their work. At first, he replied quickly, asking for photos. We sent them immediately, then communication stopped. When he finally responded, his answer was simply: nothing could be done, just power wash and seal it ourselves. No inspection, no remediation, no referrals, no discount--not even the courtesy of standing behind his job. We are incredibly disappointed. We spent thousands of dollars and have had more stress and repair needs than we ever imagined--especially so soon after completion. Some parts still look fine, but knowing what we know now, we'd never hire him again. The lack of accountability, the delays in communication, and the refusal to stand behind his work are reasons we cannot recommend Buffalo Niagara Concrete. We gave every chance for this to be made right, but at this point, we hope our experience warns others: choose a contractor who is not only skilled, but also professional, reliable, and committed to standing by the quality of their work.

This is in reply to the business manager's reply to my negative review. We actually hired one of…read morethe Top firms in the area to preform the work and actually paid additional to the contract in dispute. We are very happy with their work and highly recommend Zeolla Concrete and Construction. No hassle, no bullshit just honest hard work and lived up to their agreement. Additionally our contractor invited us to see a similar project at a clients home, had no problem providing insurance documentation and was absolutely everything that Buffalo Niagara Concrete wasn't. We will be seeing them in court!!
