I am speaking on my car wash experience here. I have felt myself physically age waiting on this poor excuse of a car wash. They got a sign claiming to be fast. Now that's funny. I purchased my car wash while getting gas about 3 weeks ago. Saw the line and said "f*** this. I'll come back at a later day." Came back. Nah meng. Too long of a line. Came back a few more times within the next 2 weeks, same result. Came back again, nope. Out of service. Finally, after the bird s*** changed the overall color of my truck, had to get her washed. I am currently 3 away from my turn. I've been here close to an hour now. This place sucks. Wash it yourself. Don't waste your time. read more

I love this station, but it's hard to get out of. Exit onto JD Blvd and you have to go West and make a U if you want to head E. And if you exit onto L. Merced Dr. you have to go north. Then you can't make a U and have to do one of those 'go right, then make a U then wait for the light to turn so you go south, then you can turn east onto JD Blvd.' Pain. In. The. Ass!! But the store is great, like a 7-11, with hot snacks, breakfast items and the like. Nice rest room, except for the retards who feel the necessitiy to graffiti the walls and mirror. Fuck-tards! I used to come here all the time to fill up my car when I lived around the area. I love how there's a lot of gas pumps so it doesn't get crowded unlike other gas stations. Gas here was seriously cheaper than the other Chevrons in the area but now that's not the case. If you're ever hungry, you can get some snacks inside or even at Burger King cause it's just right in front of it. read more

I used to come here late nights with a buddy of mine to pick up stuff at the 24-hour food mart, which was back then a novel idea. They were also one of the only places that stocked Jones Soda at the time. But at some point they stopped stocking it, and now you can find Jones at any Starbucks. How lame. The boyfriend took me here to get my car washed after he overfilled my tank and caused gasoline to spill out onto the side of my car, lol. As we drove no more than 20 mph, we came here and he got me the 'Works' which was about $10 and included RainX treatment and such. The experience lasted maybe 5 minutes and my car was SOOO clean! Terrible car wash experience. It takes forever, don't think for a second you'll "get a quick wash". Once you're in line you're stuck, even if the car wash breaks down, which happens often. I got stuck in the car wash when it broke down, waited awhile and no attendant came out so I had to call the Mart to let them know it broke down while I was inside. The attendant came out to fix it and then it broke again 2 minutes later. Finally, I made it out alive with a less than satisfactory car wash, the dryer didn't work at all and the whole experience took almost 30 minutes. I decided to try this place one more time, thinking that maybe it was just a one time bad experience. I got in line, only 4 cars ahead of me...43 minutes later, still waiting but once you're in line, you're committed. I purchased the "works" the most expensive one at $10 because it's the only one with the "spot free rinse" which is beneficial since the dryer isn't effective. Once you're in, if it doesn't break down, it only takes 7 minutes. read more

The pumps don't take new debit cards. You go through the process of trying to get gas and then find out you can't, then have to walk inside and wait in line to pay. THEN they assume you want regular gas and then make you walk back inside to fix it. Is it just me or is this a lot of walking and waiting for something that is so simple everywere else. I'm excited for when another station opens nearby. Btw. The clerk is pretty far away from the pumps. Like crossing two wide streets and sidewalks. Just a waste of time. Worst gas station. read more

I use this gas station a lot since I live close by. Its just a normal gas station but this one is hella crowded. Cigerettes are cheap here and so is gas most of the time. Beware of which parking spot you take tho, because the line for the car wash will most likely block you in and won't move to let you out. Nice and fast and not too expensive. At first I thought it was a great job, but then after a few days I noticed several places they missed. Not sure - but I think they had some "sticky/waxy" something in the soap/water - the car looked as if it was coated with something. I didn't want the wax or whatever they put on there. Went there on 4/29 fill up gas and bought a car wash due to long line at the car wash and decide to come back later the car wash receipt state code expire on 5/6 came back on at 5/6 longline again waited 30 minutes for the wash and code didn't work had to shell out another 7 bucks to get a new code since I already waited this long. One star all for MARCUS. Speaking of someone who lacks the quality of a good customer service, his name is MARCUS. At exactly 5:13pm when I went inside, the lady before me just finished her transaction was still in front of him and he was already asking me what I want. He was acting hyper. He was rushing me when he asked for my phone number, slide the card, and slide again since it didn't take the first time. He said I have to be quick because it's busy, it's busy, and there's a long line. There were 2 people behind me and there's 2 of them working at the counter. What is his problem ? He even said that he has a lot to do. For someone who deals with customers, you must be out of your mind to even say that. I'm a customer, that's your job, know how to deal with it! The problem is.... It's either he can't handle his job or he can't handle his job. Period! No choice here. I suggest that Marcus should just go work someplace else because it looks like he can't work with public or better yet he could just RETIRE so he could RELAX. This is probably the cheapest Chevron in Northern San Mateo County, but it's quite a ways from 280. It's pretty safe gassing up during the evenings, so no hesitation getting out of the car. The only problem is the sewage treatment plant next door, so you may want to step back in the car after you start pumping. read more

I have lived down the street for 20 years. The credit card machines never work at the pump. If you want to go inside and prepay the exact amount , your good. Can't fill up at the pump with credit. I won't come back unless I need a Gatorade. Customer Service isn't professional. That's why I go to the 76 station instead. read more

I only give it two stars because the employees work very hard and are very nice. However the manager Marie talks down to her employees, is rude to possible new hires on the phone when asking them to come in for a piss test before hiring. I asked her what if someone is on prescription medication for chronic pain and she said Chevron doesn't hire them or people with medical marijuana cards. Once, i had an issue and she heard me call her name while 3 feet from me while i was on the phone with Chevron customer service she made eye contact and turned the corned of the building. i went to the corner and she kept walking. I have a 10 oz coffee mug and she insist on charging me a thermos rate for it. I filled a 12 oz cup and showed her how small it was and she said it didn't matter. Was also purchasing something that wouldn't scan so i asked her to enter the barcode manually and she said she can't do that. that is total BS. read more
