I don't know why the reviews are so bad. I walked in this morning at a time that most people are still asleep to buy a lottery ticket (which I rarely do), and the cashier was pleasant, cordial and friendly. I like the fact that if I need a quick affordable car wash, I usually go here because it's convenient and it's clean. The only issue that I ever had here was that there was someone parked in the area where you add air to your tires, but that's just a normal customer with bad manners and has nothing to do with the establishment. read more

Pleasant experience with fair prices given its an upscale gas station. Top notch cashier - very concerned about his customers. Fueled up after a visit to Trader Joes across the way in the late evening during a time when a large group of younger people - maybe from a high school were also dropping by. Pumped fuel quickly, paper towels available and the cashier handled the large group very well. He was answering a question from one of the youngsters off in the distance and helping me too. Avoid this place if possible. The female clerk tried hard to steal $20.00 from me. This is the first review I am giving to any business because I don't want them doing it to anyone else. I go in to simply get $20.00 worth of gas and ask her to put $20.00 on pump number 5. This was on Sunday 5/18 around 1:00 pm. I hand her the $20.00. She then asks me if I am a Chevron rewards member, which I was not. I don't go to this particular station and I had never signed up at any of the other ones. She said you get 0.35 cents off. I asked "You mean 0.35 cents off a gallon?' she says no, $0.25 off a gallon, you just need to give us your telephone number. She sees that I am hesitating, and she breaks out the store's tablet device. As she tries to show me what to fill out, the $20.00 I gave her is sitting flat on top of the cash drawer. There was hardly anyone in there. I'm assuming she did not ring up the sale at the time so that I can sign up first. So, I didn't think too much of it at the time it was too far away for someone to grab it and there was just 2 kids in there and 2 workers behind the counter. She then says "You need your phone to accept the code" I tell her, it's in the car and she says "Go ahead and get it". I look at the $20.00 I gave her still sitting on top of the cash drawer, I point to it, and say "Okay, you still have my $20.00 there she looks straight at it and I say "Yes, Yes, no problem" One minute later I walk back in with my phone and proceed to fill out the rest of the info on the tablet. I finish 2 minutes later and "Say, Okay, I'm done. Remember, it's $20.00 of pump #5". She then looks at me and says that will be $20.00. I said, what are you talking about. The $20.00 was right there a minute ago and you said you had it. She then says "No, I don't have it". I look and it's not there. I about lost my mind and the other worker is standing there clueless. She said I don't have it and looked on the floor and on the counter. She then opens the cash draw to prove there are 0 twenties in the drawer, just 1's and 5's. I walked over to the guy and said "Are you catching what is going on over here?" he was there the whole time to and had nothing to say. She lady, who clearly pocketed the money. I demanded that they simply roll back the video surveillance. That sounds simply enough. The office door was 4 feet away and open. She said they have to wait until the manager comes in on Monday. I was pissed. When the female worker realized I was not having it she said go ahead and put the gas in and we will check Monday. She then proceeded to hand me a free water and potato chips for signing up. I refused them. I will never go back to that station, and I recommend you go anywhere else. I just feel for all the older people or those with challenges that she or they have scammed. read more

Although this Extra Mile station itself is a clean convenient stop, the carwash has much to be desired. Tried it several times over the past few years and again yesterday with the same outcome. It does not wash efficiently and the drying mechanism just doesn't get the vehicle dry. As well there is supposed to be a timer at the end so as you move forward you are able to gauge however it's not available to view. Won't be coming through this carwash again anytime soon, hope somebody in management reads this and makes the proper modifications. read more

I would give NO stars if option. Went through $15 car wash and it seemed to miss my entire car. See back window, where my kids wrote message still completely dry. After manager told me to come back- employee very rudely refused to honor car wash. Told me I had to come back YET AGAIN when manager was there during business hours. After dinner, the roommate and I needed fuel for the drive home. The roomie looked up the closest gas station and found this Chevron. We stopped by on Sunday, May 6th around 8:15pm. That day, gas prices were the following: Regular $3.799, Plus $3.899, Supreme $3.999, Diesel No 2 $3.999. From my understanding, this wasn't super cheap, but not super expensive either. (I don't drive much anymore, so I really have no gauge on prices.) Filling up our car was quick and easy, which is all I'm really looking for in a gas station. No lines as it was a quiet Sunday night. Convenient if in downtown Danville. read more

Definitely not the cheapest gas in town but convenient location. (3.299/reg) Customer service is good. The bathrooms are normally clean and stocked. I've used their car vacuum plenty of times and with 2$ you can vacuum a good amount. read more

There is a worker here named Michael, an old fat guy with glasses who also works as an Uber driver, who was extremely rude to my friend and I and we were customers. I'm not sure if the people who train their employees at this Chevron are the ones who don't train their workers properly or if he just wasn't raised right by his parents, but either way, he was very disrespectful and unnecessarily rude and he should be fired or at the very least re-trained on how to be a decent person, especially to the customers. I've never had problems with any of the other employees at this location and I'm a regular here. read more

Abdullah provided me with WONDERFUL customer service. She went above and beyond when my carwash code didn't work. However, your carwash SUCKS! I went through it twice (in two days) because the first time it appeared to be out of soap. I go through it two days later and this time the premium wash and I still have horrendous dirt stripes down the sides of my SUV. I'm outraged by this station. Every time I stop here, I regret it. On 04/05/21, I bought a $70 tank of gas & a $15 "works" wash. When I entered my wash code & pulled into the machine, the washer wouldn't start. When I pressed the "Help" call button, I got no response. I had to pull around to the convenience store & go inside for assistance. A half-dozen customers & one counterperson (let's call him "A" for "amateur"); the other counterperson/manager ("T" for "twit") was nowhere to be seen. After 10 minutes, it was my turn, but A didn't know how to help me. T showed up but flat-out ignored A & his questions for another 5 minutes. When T finally looked at my receipt, he merely said, "This is from a long time ago," and turned away.  He flat-out ignored me when I replied, "It's from 30 minutes ago," and continued to ignore A & me for another 10 minutes. Finally, T shoved A out of the way, spent another 5 minutes punching buttons on the register and tossed the new receipt at me. Not only did he treat me incredibly rudely, he didn't help his own employee learn how to do something basic, which will ensure that other customers get the pleasure of experiencing the same kind of confusion in the future. What should have been a 15-minute stop for a tank & a rinse turned into nearly an hour of utter disrespect. I don't care whether T is an employee, a manager or even the franchisee; he is an incredibly poor representation of what Chevron should want for someone wearing their logo. Moreover, why would I want to continue to patronize a store like this? This experience isn't a rare one; it's par-for-the-course at this place. read more

Come on its a gas station carwash. I didnt expect much and so I was not disappointed. Delux wash was free so I took advantage of it. The plus is it is totally touch less the bad is that the rise leaves soap behind. so if you are looking for a quickie this place is for you. if you want a quality wash find hand wash place. read more

Called to see if their car wash was working. Busy signal. Was able to drive from Pleasanton to their location in Danville all the while calling. Busy signal. Need to add that earlier in the day I tried to call for the information and and ---wait for it---busy signal. When I got there and ggit the car washes I went i to the store to ask if their phones were broken or if ff the hoook. A surly man said NO! A long call!!!! I hate that I'm writing a review for a gas station, but I am annoyed with the car wash so here goes. This is my go-to spot for a drive through wash and I will go out of my way to get gas here just for the wash. I don't know why, but I do. After a fill-up, the option at the pump to add a car wash is broken 70% of the time, making me have to go into the market, wait in line and buy with cash. Ok fine. Tonight I went in and got my receipt, drove around to the car wash, entered my code and drove in without incident. As luck would have it, the wash broke after my car was covered with soap. It was a complete and total mess! Of course they returned my money and said sorry, but I think it's time for me to move on from this car wash. It's not consistent and not worth my loyalty. read more

I am writing about their car wash. As I was sitting in my car through the wash, a LARGE blast of air surrounded my car from top to bottom. It scared me to death. Then I went through the drying process which felt and sounded as though it was ripping parts off of my car. As I was driving home, I found it did, in fact, tear the weather stripping from the wind shield for my sun room right off. I also heard some other sounds coming from under my car that has since stopped. I tried some glue which helped until I had to drive on the freeway yesterday. The vibrating sound and the weather stripping flying around the top of my car was awful. I ended up having to drive 55 miles an hour with my flashers on because I was halfway to my destination. My cousin was able to repair it when I got to their house. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU USE THIS CARWASH. read more

Today my friends and I were looking for something to eat and my friend is allergic to quite a lot of products so we were very limited to what to buy and we were looking around at ingredients to check if she was able to eat it safely. We were walking around and deciding what to buy for about 10 minutes. Customers were coming in and out of the store. Daniella, a woman working at the store said firmly to all of us, "There are too many children in here, buy something and get out." Keeping in mind that us three were the only "children" in the store. She was being very rude and making your customers leave us very inappropriate, even if we are "kids." She knew nothing about the situation that we had to deal with, she just went to conclusion. Horrible experience this past Thursday afternoon here. The cashier service rep on duty at 4:30pm at this location was rude, cursing, and slamming things on the counter angrily loud while a line of 6+ people formed. When she finally got to me, she didn't say hi, ask me if I had found everything/if that would be all, thank you, or goodbye. She didn't even count my change back. As a chevron employee, I was absolutely surprised by her abhorrent behavior. Half way through the transaction she muttered "I don't get paid enough for this s***". SO unprofessional. Others who had visited that location that day had also complained about her behavior and attitude. I will be giving the store manager as well as corporate a call. So rude. 2 stars because the younger guy with the glasses IS THE BEST! I think his name is Marcus. He is amazingly pleasant and lovely and professional. read more

This is my husband's favorite gas station. He never cares what the cost is regardless if we are filling up my Honda(regular) his car (premium). We are at this station at least 3 x's per month and if you hit it at the right time, you can avoid the HS crowd getting snacks and such from the ultra clean and well stocked convenience store. This is the largest gas station in Downtown Danville and someone won over $300k on a Mega Millions ticket purchased here recently. If it would have been me, this place would have gotten an extra star! read more

I love how Extra Mile stocks so many cold beverages...more than most grocery stores. I am hooked on Vitamin water and find myself stopping by this location several times a week to get some. It's always clean and service is friendly. The gas on the other hand does seem to be a little more expensive here, but the convenient location makes up for it for me. read more

This gas station has the worst customer service of any place I've been ... I'm not sure where they found this squad of misfits to run the place.. The line is always out the door because they will turn their back on a line of 5 people to stock cigarettes ! Rude in every way! Slow as hell and un concerned with making the customer happy! A nice, clean Chevron. Good selection of munchies and drinks for the road. The gas pumps lock on while fueling so I can get the windows done at the same time. Quick and decent exterior car wash for around $8. if not wanting to go the $25. option. Avoid going around the time when the nearby high school gets out in the afternoon... read more
