I shared a Yelp review almost 2 years ago. And happy to report this place hits even bigger! More decorations! Bigger menu. Seating area in the back with solid WiFi! And the store owner is here. It makes such a huge difference when the owner is here. He's Brazilian and you can practice your Brazilian Portuguese! And the food hits. Coxhina and the peanut butter smoothie draws me back every time!

Came to Danville for a birthday party and found this gem. The açaí smoothie was impeccable. It was the perfect mix of smooth and sweet. The açaí bowl was also ordered and it was a lush texture, a hearty helping in the portion they offer. It was worth the price for sure! The ambiance is small and quaint and the staff was so kind. We ordered and they brought our order out to us while sitting outside enjoying the nice weather.

What I ordered vs what I got :( I called the store directly and the guy just said "shrinkflation" and laughed :/ as if using less than 1/5 of a banana, one strawberry, and like 4-5 blueberries is gonna run him out of business. Poor customer service. Used to be a great spot, but I'm not paying $30 for this pathetic excuse of a crepe.

After my trip to Brazil, I was on a search for places in my area that served Brazilian food, snacks, and the like! Using Yelp! I found Corner of Brazil in Danville! I was so ecstatic as I love and missed Brazil so much! I have been here a few times already and can say their açai bowls are my favorite in the area - I always need to get one when I visit along with some salgados e pão de queijo. It is a small cafe / speciality shop where you could find some Brazilian grocery items which is really great if you're not near a speciality market. I have bought items such as quiejo coalho, linguiça, farofa, guaraná, tapioca, molho de pimenta, pimenta, dolces, suco de caju, e muito mais. Even though it may seem small upon walking in from Hartz Ave, the narrow interior space does lead to an outdoor covered patio where there are several tables and bright decor keeping to the theme you see and feel inside the cafe. They offer crepes - not tapioca crepes, but egg crepes. I have tried the one with chicken and catipury. They offer rolled ice cream, café, vários coisas made from locals that they help feature in their shop such as brigadeiros, sobremesas, e snacks - kibe, esfirras, empadas, etc. Be warned that the items offered in the hot area could sell out depending on the time of day you visit. If you're looking to provide a certain amount for a party or gathering, you could call in ahead of time as I believe they still can plan for pre-orders. I hope to come back when I can stay and enjoy the patio and try new items from their menu! The staff is all very nice - a family who has roots from Minas Gerais. I always end up bringing back so much back home porque eu quero minha mãe, irmã, e cunhado para tentar! Espero que esse negógio fique aqui pra sempre!

    Original Bowl and coxinha

I'm a huge fan of their açaí bowls. They're super thick, definitely not watered down like most of the ones you find. It's very refreshing for a hot day. I got the 10oz original bowl and it was already very filling. I also got their coxinha, which is a fried chicken croquette. Make sure to try it with their cilantro and chipotle sauce! If you're dining in, you should check out the back patio. It's very cute and cozy, and a great place to hang out with friends.

Omg. Where do I get started? The acai bowl was amazing!! The worker recommended I get the Gol. D bowl because it's his favorite and is the traditional way it is eaten and it was so so so good. I'm a huge acai person literally have eaten at every place in the Bay Area, and the texture of the base was done perfectly. It was so thick, creamy, and smooth without it being icy, which is rare in the acai bowl world. I also got it with the powdered milk and condensed milk that comes with the bowl and while it was good and made it sweet, I think personally I just prefer the straight acai base which I got when I got the original bowl the next time. It came with banana, strawberries, and granola as the toppings. The strawberries were fresh, the granola was crunchy and not overly sweet, and I opted to not get the bananas because I don't really like them. One downside for me is the lack of topping options. I usually prefer my bowl with all of seeds, nuts, and different types of fruits, which this place did not offer. However, since it's an authentic Brazil spot they may eat it differently there. The service was fast and the worker was very kind and patient with me. Even when I asked him to make it extra frozen since I'm driving 20 min, he accompanying my request so kindly. The ambiance is also very cool, all Brazilian themed. While seating is very limited, the store wasn't crowded at all so I had plenty of options on where to sit. Overall, I've visited this place multiple times and would recommend this place to any one who loves acai bowls.

    Coxinha and guarana!

After having spent a summer in Brazil, I always love to find a place that has Brazilian food that takes me back down memory lane. I thought that Corner of Brazil might fit that bill so I popped in on a weekday to check it out. The main menu items are Acai bowls and crepes but there were indeed so many things that took me back to Brazil- the snacks, the candies, and of course the Antarctica guarana soda! I love coxinha but didn't see it on the menu so I asked. They do have them but not always cooked so the guy recommended that I call 15 minutes in advance and they can have it ready for me next time. He popped it in the oven and I waited until it was ready. I was a little bummed that it was still a little cold/frozen inside on one of the coxinha but I'd stop by again to get my fix of Brazilian snacks!

Service was fast. Place was cute. Servers were nice. And the crêpe was so delicious. We took it to go but ended up eating at the table outside and devoured it. We want to try other items next time we visit What a wonderful first time experience!

    empanada de frango...
    Mia W.

It's nice to have a little corner of Brazil in Danville. An authentic place that offers Brazilian snacks and sweets. Cheese bread , croquets and Empanada de Frango were delicious. Service was super friendly. The ambience is an ode to Brazil. Any Brazilian will helplessly fall into nostalgia... My only qualm is I bought a bottle of coke and it would've been more enjoyable if it was colder. I don't enjoy lukewarm soda... I would definitely be back to try some more of their offerings. Looking forward to trying their acai bowl next time...

After trying an acai bowl here I realized I've never had a true acai bowl ever! Everything else was just slushy in comparison to the thick, creamy acai that I got here! It's like going your whole life eating frozen yoghurt and then trying ice cream for the first time---mind blown! The ambiance was awesome in their back area and the service great as everyone was nice and friendly. Their coffee was great too! I'm recommending this spot to everybody, it's truly a gem!

Randomly came across this shop on Yelp as I was craving an Açaí bowl. My friend is also Brazilian so I hit her up for recs. The shop is small, cute and clean. We got two açaí bowls (original, and the peanut butter one), the cheese bread, beef bun, and a chicken croquette. Overall the food was good and the açaí was excellent! I'm still drooling over it all. It's expensive but a nice treat and hit the spot. The staff was helpful, friendly, and so kind! I will be back for sure!

The food here is so good, I crave it constantly. I'm here at least three times a month. The service is always friendly and passionate about the food and quality, and the whole bistro is decorated head to toe. I love sitting outside on the back patio, it's real cool.

We were seated quickly outside. It was such a nice evening out and not cold. There were heat lamps too if needed. Our server was Toni. She was amazing and took care of us! She was super sweet and friendly! Excellent service. We ordered the streak frites, fish of the day which was a salmon and risotto, Paloma and lemon meringue. Steak frites was cooked perfectly! It was a hanger steak so it was soft and tender. Fries were crispy and it came with an arugula side salad. Dressing was lemony. Toni was so nice and even found us something similar to chimichurri sauce. The fish of the day was a salmon with risotto. It was cooked medium. Not over cooked and nice and flakey. Risotto was really good and lemony. The lemon meringue was probably one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. It came with a raspberry compote. The meringue was sooo soft and whipped and came with a delicious graham cracker crust. We even asked if they sold the pie as a whole but unfortunately they don't. Loved this spot! Will def be back. When my friend and I shared a plate, he made his disapproval known. I'm happy to pay a split fee. Just don't make me feel judged for it -- especially when the table ordered plenty of wine/cocktails, entrees, desserts, sides, and bottled water. Speaking of which: I asked for still, bottled water. He brought tap. When I followed up, he arrived with a single small Aqua Panna -- tap glasses still on the table. When I pointed out one bottle wasn't enough for our party, he dropped two more without pouring any of them. We now had twelve glasses of water crowding the table and not one filled -- except for the tap. That pattern held all night. Empty wine glasses, cocktail glasses, dirty plates -- nothing was ever proactively cleared. Everything required asking. Repeatedly. He also cleared across guests rather than walking around the table. Basic. But the most serious issue: at the start of dinner, he asked about allergies. One guest clearly stated a walnut and pecan allergy. He then brought out a dessert containing pecans. That's not an oversight. That's a liability. We tipped generously anyway... But it wasn't earned tonight. Esin has always been a place I look forward to when I'm back in town. Tonight was a real disappointment.
