Clerk was a complete asshole. He does not make you feel welcome and makes you feel as if a burden in the store. Used very foul language.

The clerk was a douche. I got gas. not an issue. I went in to grab a few redbulls. I asked for a bag and he kinda scoffed at me. and then he was bagging up my drinks he dropped them in the open bag. There was a thud as it hit the glass and when i got the bag, the drinks were sideways as well. one of the cans had a dent. thankfully it did not cause anything to be shaken up. it doesn't take much effort to just place them in the bag. read more

This is the 5th Chevron that we have stopped at for gas, food, and/or need of a bathroom. I'm 60 years old and need a bathroom break due to meds every now and then. They refuse to answer the phone ever I live in Modesto and my trailer had a flat there and unfortunately my car had a flat tire after going to get a trailer tire I wanted to call and ensure it's there still before driving hour or more at 2am ugh all stores were closed had to go home for a tire and it says their open they let the call go to voice mail and it says enter remote access code.. I'm coming back pls don't tow it I just got my car going and I got the tire for my trailer heading back but ugh please answer if your open it's weird they don't read more

Lotto players beware when cashing. Check ur ticket before giving. I thought I did with my fantasy 5 ticket the night before on the phone app. Said $15and 2 free tickets but I had other 1 free on 3 other tickets. I got 3 of the 4 free tickets. The one I didn't get should of been 2 free tickets on 1 ticket so if someone wins tonite of $850k from this store hmm something small but such a big payout read more

The card readers here frequently stop taking my card. I do not know if they don't pay their bill on time, or what. Go to ANY other Chevron, and my card works fine. Lame. read more

Hate to say how disappointed I was in the service I received today while visiting chevron. This location has been one of my most frequent stops ever since they created their Instagram page and started selling local craft beers. This morning I saw that they had received a limited bottle of Hennessy. As I walked in the team member behind the counter "Gurdeep" (I believe his name was) was there. I asked for the new bottle of Hennessy that they had posted for sale, he asked for my ID and I gave it to him, he confirmed my age and returned me my ID. He asked what size I wanted and I said "the limited box you posted on Instagram" he then showed me the small and the 750 size bottle. I again told him "it is a limited edition, comes in box" then he showed me bottle of Remy Martin and then I saw the box on display and told him it was that one. He then walked the box to the register attempted to ring me up but the price was not coming up. I asked if I could see the bottle and he ignored my question and started calling another worker by the phone. As he was on the phone, I reached for the box and he pulled it closer to him. He finally got the price, then I asked if I could see the bottle. He frustratedly opened the box, pulled out the bottle and showed me. I then reached for the bottle and he was still holding on to it not allowing me to see it. So I asked "can I see the bottle?" And he got angry and assumed I was going to steal it. I turned around and walked away. If you are a person of color, I would recommend to be careful when going to this establishment SMH. This Chevron was in a location which was pretty easy to access. The gas lines were not too bad so I didn't really have to wait in line that long. I used the credit card self pay at the pump and had no issues. The prices were in line with the gas stations near buy. However There was large truck at the pump ahead of me so I couldn't pull exactly in front of the pump. I will have to let others know, the pump doesn't have much slack so I could barely pull it to the gas tank. Other than that, I was able to fill up and the receipt machine worked out fine. read more

I have not use Chevron gas and this is one of. The best local stations. Always clean with gas at competitive prices. I think it's one of the main reasons my car still runs solid after 250,000 miles. Gas is at a discount if you have cash or a Chevron card. I've had my card for as long as I've been driving. A few Chevron stations don't provide the discount to Chevron card holders. This station went that route for a minute but came back around to doing it right. The staff inside are always friendly and the store is well stocked for a gas station. I can't speak to the prepared food as I steer clear of any gas station prepared "fresh" food. If I was ever to take that gamble this would be the place. The restrooms are inside and always clean. Rarely are pumps down and the station upgrades the pumps on a regular basis. I realize it's just a gas station but it's nice to see one that runs so well when there are so many that are substandard. On my last fill up the gas was a nickel less a than the other corner. read more

Rudest cashier ive ever met. Pump prices are higher than advertised, and when i pointed it out i was ignored until i said it again, then he angrilyh told me to call customer service. I asked for the number and he told me to look it up and walked away. I left and just looked up Chevrom Corporate Customer Compmlaint website and left a scathing review with all the other details about my less than happy visit. Bruh, never thought I'd review a gas station, but the cashier here is so awesome I really gotta put this down. First, I like going to this gas station because it's close to work and has the cash option for bit cheaper gas. Sometimes the difference between cash and card is just a couple cents but eh, every penny counts right? Especially if you're pumping at these top tier gas stations loool. Anywho, back to that cashier! Maybe he's the owner, but dude every time I come in, he's this jolly old dude that greets you as you come in and every time I pump he adds a starburst or chocolate with it after you pay. LOL. LIKE WHUT. I literally laughed the first time this happened because it was so random, but I said thanks and went to fill my baby up. I thought it was just maybe a one time thing. BUT IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME. THE DUDE IS THE BEST GAS STATION CLERK EVER! Didn't know that title could exist, but NOW IT DOES. This is the meaning of life. Finding great people at random spots. It's a clean, easy in-and-out station near a freeway entrance, so convenience is a bonus for this location. It's also spacious with plenty of pumps, so rarely will you find a wait even at a spot right off Elk Grove Boulevard. I've been here a couple times and my experiences with the customer service have been mixed. It really depends on whose on shift/behind the counter. I've gotten everyone from a rude lady to a talkative older gentleman. However, I do avoid the place considering Chevron is always more pricey than many of their competitors. It's hard to justify all the convenience when I can get gas for 10 cents less per gallon across the street. read more

I park at the gas pump and go inside. I'm pregnant and in dire need of a restroom. I ask him if the restroom is locked or if I may use it. He says it's for customers only. I say I am a customer. I went yesterday to buy icees for my family. There is a sign posted at the front that says see cashier for cups. I asked the cashier (Gurhdeep) for three cups and three lids. He starts to put the lids on our cups for us. I politely ask if I can put the lids on our our cups for sanitary reasons. Gurhdeep tossed the cup and told us to buy icees somewhere else. We live in Elk Grove and I will never be attending this station again. After reading other reviews, I noticed I am not the only one who has been treated poorly by Gurhdeep specifically. I've been here a few times, usually after I get a coffee from Dutch Bros across the street I come here for cigarettes, lotto tickets etc. Every time I've been here they are super nice, it's never crowded either. The gas is a bit pricey but the parking lot and the gas pump area is always really clean and there's never people asking you for money or trying to sell you some dvd's like in south sac.
