This place is trash, they stole 30 out of my account and won't reimburse or give me the product I paid for. Worst store ever

I stopped by Power Market on Laguna Boulevard on my way to kiddo school pickup, and it reminded me…read morewhy I always like coming here. This is one of the few places where I can reliably find sugar-free Red Bull in stock, which isn't always the case at other convenience stores. They also carry the harder-to-find monk fruit version, which my husband loves and is surprisingly difficult to track down. But my personal little treasure hunt here is always the candy section. Every once in a while I find my hidden gem -- the Skor bar. And for anyone thinking it's basically the same as a Heath Bar, it's not. Totally different, and not many places carry Skor anymore. Today I looked all over the store thinking they were out... until I spotted the final three bars sitting right by the cashier. Another thing I appreciate here is the staff. The super tall guy who's often working the register is always friendly and welcoming, and he consistently reminds me to use my loyalty card, which I appreciate because I would absolutely forget otherwise. They also carry Sweet Tart Ropes in a bunch of different flavors, and I always grab the "flavor of the month" aka holiday ropes when I see it. It's a small thing, but I like slipping one into my kid's lunch box as a little surprise treat--just a tiny "thinking about you, hope this makes you smile" moment during their school day. Helpful tip: Check near the register for the Skor bars if you're hunting for one--they're sometimes stocked there instead of the main candy aisle. Between the hard-to-find snacks, the fun rotating treats, and genuinely friendly service, this is one of those neighborhood convenience stops that keeps me coming back.

I noticed one door blocked off and a large sign that warned "MOST of the isles are closed off for cleaning." MOST not ALL. Grabbing a small hand basket I could see the sunscreen right in front of me. About to grab it the woman employee said firmly that ALL of the isles are closed. Okay. They why are the doors open for customers. Then the male employee made a snarky comment that "Too bad I didn't make a huge sign for people to see. Yes it was very ignorant of me to think that if they were open for business that I would be allowed to buy something. Both employees were very rude. Without saying a single word I then sat the basket back down and left. That is when the two employees behind the counter began laughing loudly and calling me stupid. Here's the thing, I rarely shop at Walgreens since it's so rachet. I mean the parking spot permanently reserved for the police is a dead giveaway that the store is shitty. Now my rarely shopping at Walgreens is now a never shops at Walgreens. There are many other stores to choose from. As far a sunscreen goes a co-worker said they would share theirs with me. So not only having a dirty nasty rachet store the employees are the last thing to finally run me off for good.

( I was standing in front of the coffee island, and a dispenser that's not being used) I come in the store almost everyday for the year I've lived here and I don't steal. Once thought my boy paid for my cookies, but later I learned he hadn't after all, I had them charge me for the cookies the next day. So the youngest female clerk, she's always on her phone talking in Hindi , or Farsi, or whatever other languages she speaks. Everyday her attitude and service gets worse, as she's always talking a million miles an hour and not to us. She's visibly irritated and blatantly talks badly about her customers often because she doesn't realize people might understand her. She messed up our change the other day because she wasn't paying attention, she gave my friend his gas he paid for, but threatened that they would look at the tape and it would be on ME, if we were wrong or lying. It wasnt my car, my gas, and I don't work there. I wasnt worried about any drawer count or looking at tapes, I was pay attention and I KNOW what's right. That condescending, simple-mided hall monitor, thinks she's got her job down to boredom, but between her shit service, and today telling me I need to leave my backpack and purse outside the door... I'LL NEVER GO BACK. I'm not going to be treated like a thief and give them money to treat me badly. She can't pay attention to what's going on in front of her, she can't watch anyone's bags. There's cameras all over that store, bags are illegal in California, we are supposed to bring bags.... This is why so many people steal from them.. even if I'm not one of them, I'm not surprised people do when you treat them all like that anyway. They randomly close the store down at night for 45-60 minutes but never at the same time. They all treat their customers like obstacles and irritations, no matter what they look like.. I guess they think all those snacks and drinks purchase themselves.
