The fresh baked bread here seems to be the best compared to other grocery stores in the area, however it costs a lot more. The pugliese bread is my favorite as it is soft, fluffy, and taste delicious! The sourdough is also yummy and has a light airy consistency.  The sandwiches are made with the fresh baked bread and are delicious! Even though the store opens at 6am, the bread is not ready until 8-9am, therefore it is best to order a sandwich a couple hours after the store opens for the optimum selection of bread. I once made the mistake of ordering a sandwich at 7am and was only presented with two bread options: sliced bread or focaccia. I selected the focaccia and although the bread was tasty, it made for a very soft and ultimately soggy sandwich.  There is a large prepared/hot food section that is self-serve. On one occasion while I was selecting a soup to purchase I witnessed an employee wiping up the spilled food from the counter and putting it back into the large food tray. It was absolutely nauseating and I immediately questioned if I should even purchase the soup given the lack of proper food cleanup/handling.  The grocery items cost much more than other grocery stores for the same exact item. Nugget seems to carry a variety of high-quality ingredients and typical well-known brands. The cost of produce and meat is much higher than other grocery stores, although the meat is typically sourced from local farms.  During Thanksgiving Nugget carries a large selection of high quality turkeys. There are a few turkeys that are sourced from local farms that are advertised as natural, antibiotic free, and free range. When purchasing a Turkey for Thanksgiving it is always advised to call and preorder as the high quality turkeys sell out fast. read more

Ordered from the smoothie bar and got a seasonal Thai tea for summer 2026. Was told that it tasted like Thai tea but it isn't orange and I said that was fine because in regular Thai tea they use food coloring to make it orange. It tasted more like a black milk tea, but it was still enjoyable. My mango madness was great too. Easy service and the small seating area had a microwave and nice toaster if you're ever on your lunch break. There was utensils, napkins, and a few condiments. read more

Stopped in to grab a few Sandwiches. I ordered the Firecracker, TBA, & Monster pastrami. Sandwiches were good but could've had a little more meat for the price. Definitely felt like I was eating more bread than anything. The pastrami was $17.99 & it didn't have that much pastrami. Was at the Greenhaven location & they definitely made much better sandwiches. I guess it just depends on who's making the sandwich. The Firecracker was cracked pepper turkey, pepper jack, cheddar, roasted red peppers, red onions, spring mix, and chipotle mayo on ciabatta. I also added sprouts. I should've asked for extra extra sprouts. The TBA was turkey, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo on a soft white roll. The Monster Pastrami was pastrami, swiss, red onion, pickie epperoncini, lettuce, mayo, mustard. It took awhile for them to make 3 sandwiches and it wasn't busy. They have a nice Dessert selection. They have cakes, cupcakes, cake slices, macarons, cookies, pies, etc. They also have meats for Charcuterie & excellent selection of cheeses. You can also order Sushi platters. I love the Juice Bar, Deli, Hot Foods, and Bakery sections here--and the fact that it's conveniently close to me is a big plus. They offer a great variety of freshly made juices, smoothies, and coffee. My go-tos are The Protector, C-Madness, and Nananut. The coffee is pretty standard, but they also feature seasonal drinks on their menu. From the bakery, the Champagne Cake and Burnt Almond Cake are both amazing. I like that they also sell individual slices, perfect when you just want a small treat. The store itself is clean and well-organized, and the staff are generally helpful. Prices can be on the higher side, but the quality of their produce, meats, and cheese selection definitely makes up for it. Overall, I love the Nugget and so do my kids. This Store is AMAZING! Clean, Great Prices & Top-Tier Service! Omg, I am in love with this Nugget Market! I was immediately impressed with how incredibly organized and sparkling clean the entire store is. It just feels good to shop here. On top of that, the customer service is by far top-tier. Always able to find what I need. Big parking lot. Have not had any customer service issues. No self checkout here so it's nice to have human interaction now that so many stores have self checkout. I often come here because they have Producers Dairy ice cream, which is a family owned business based in Fresno. I do wish they had more ice cream flavors from them but so far I've enjoyed their peanut butter chocolate ice cream. I like that this supermarket carries a variety of ice cream brands and continues to have Thrifty ice cream after all the Rite Aid stores have closed. read more

The sandwiches are soo good if it is made the right way. I stood in front of the sandwich stand for a good 8-10 minutes waiting for the employees to finish up making sandwiches and chit-chatting. No one asked if I would like to order or say "give me a few minutes" just silence and the employee looking up every now and then and still ignoring me. Finally, they take my order. I ask for extra veggies and mayo. There was the regular amount of veggies and not a single drop of mayo. Also, I noticed that another guy was sweeping the area right around the sandwich making table. I love Nugget, don't get me wrong. I love all the artisinal cheeses, cakes and grabbing a freshly made sandwich. I mean how can you go wrong a slough of epically curated gourmet foods. However, I am starting to question the cost differential on some staple items. I hope that Nugget can continue to partner with some local farms to help address the pricing disparities on some items. I ordered a cake for a birthday. The process was ridiculous. It took forever. I picked the cake up today and there was no birthday writing on the cake. It just had balloons on it. This was special ordered. Thank god my husband decided to buy a coffee and as we waited for our coffee, I said let me see the cake. I said take it back there is no writing on it. How dumb. There is a certain vibe you get that has been increasing steadily in this store. As if you get looked at as if you do not belong. You then confirm this when the cashier asks you if you got organic. Which they should know due to the bag, rubber band on sight. They ask, to see if you lie and say it's not. For what a 5 to 25 cent discount? If I am coming in, wearing house loungewear, getting a few things within 5 minutes, it means I live nearby. I do not need to dress to impress for some grocery shop bagger. Nor did I come in to be judged by one. Now don't get me wrong, there are a portion of people who do this. But this also includes doctors and everyone else as well. Albeit an extremely small percentage. Doing this often to me though. When they recognize me as a repeat customer. Is annoying. Profiling, yes? You go here late night, you see 5 cashiers just staring at you because they got nothing else better to do, laughing. While looking in your direction. What do you think they are doing? Not their jobs apparently as some of the groceries look extremely whittled and lacking quality. One hour to closing, you got things to do bro, I know this for sure. Hiring shady people, just cause they your friends and to cement your insecure job is toxic. Too much competition in the area made this grocery store substandard and extremely lacking. Note. Go check their pickle jars. There is a delinquent repeatedly opening jars and putting them back. The employees and or manager should be on this.
