We had added only a few additional items, and at no point was I informed that the cost had increased anywhere close to that amount. If someone is spending thousands of dollars beyond the original estimate, a professional shop should communicate those changes before proceeding. What disappointed me most wasn't just the price--it was the lack of communication and the way the situation was handled. Rather than trying to work with me to resolve the issue, the interaction became unnecessarily confrontational and ultimately ended up in Court and arbitration. We settled the matter for $5,000, which I would have gladly discussed and paid if there had been honest communication and a reasonable effort to resolve the issue before it reached that point. The shop itself also left a poor impression. The showroom, office, and front counter were extremely cluttered and disorganized, which reflected the overall experience I had. Good customer service is built on communication, transparency, and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I cannot recommend Santa Clarita Auto Sound. Do Not Do Business with them!!!
