Like most people, when in need of a tow... you automatically dred making that call.... as we all know it takes FOREVERRR... This morning was awlful and my nerves were shot from getting in an accident on the 101 freeway, my car to say the least was not drivable... after dealing with the police and the other motorist, i was literally stranded on the 101 to deal with the mess that had just happened. Fotunately, the police called for a tow. Now, I have dealt with towing companies before for miscellaneous things like locking my keys in the car, gas, batteries, etc... not to mention would take FORRRREVER for someone to show up to assist. (My past experiences with tow truck drivers have always been waiting for hours for them and when they FINALLY arrive, no personality, alot of them really not knowing what they are doing, and others not always having the solution to the problem or task at hand.) IM TELLING YOU..THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. I KID YOU NOT!!! TEN MINUTES!!! yes TEN MINUTES and low and behold the tow truck showed up.. ROYS TOWING!!! hallelujiah!!! Best part, the tow truck driver, SCOTT, was the SHIZ!!! This was sooooo not the case.... Scott immediately introduced himself and told me he would take care of me. Scott was extremely pleasant and good spirited,He got my vehicle hooked up and ready to go to be towed and explained to me that everything was going to work out! I cannot express how much having him there really put my mind at ease, it was like a family member coming to the rescue! Not only was he efficient and timely, to my surprise his Truck was immaculate!!!!! who would have thought that a tow truck on the inside could be so clean. He helped me gather up my belongings from my vehicle and told me he'd put air on in the truck for me as I waited while he finished securnig my vehicle. He knew exactly where to take my vehicle , which was a extremely helpful since I had been a bit shook up from the accident. Scott had a way about him that calmed my nerves and I actually felt that someone was looking out for my best interest. (not even the policeman was this nice). All in all I just wanted to share with everyone this experience. It's people like Scott who make a bad situation bearable. Scott, your a blessing in disguise. well my first in counter with roys towing was when the cops keep having Roys towing take my cars that i had just got from tow yard auctions i would buy them they had no tages so cop would take them when i was at work and able to stop them from taking anyways the next time was just a few night ago i got in to a little finder bender with one of his tow truck it was ones fault really it just happened the driver was way cool even towed my car home for me cause it would not drive and we made arrangements that i would take care of what ever was wrong so two days later i all rays towing to see about the truck and i talked to someone named jim well he tells me there is over 6k in damages to the truck all kinds of stuff was messed up i could not believe it but i was still listening so i ask for the copy of estament not a great speller any he sends it to me and it awas done by jim the invoice he made up his self and the worst part was when he said to me you know i did talk to my driver and he said that i smelled like i had been drinking that is when i stoped the call right there and this is why i have not drank or done any drugs in over 27 years i have been clean at this point i think jim is no telling the truth and its not ok i have yet to talk to roy but i am trying to contact him to resolve this matter other the that Roy towing is a top notch place ran like pros other then this guy named jim witch i hope to meet in person in the nexted day or two Roys towing kick ass for most part they are good at what they do i would not use any one else in thosand oaks read more

My encounter with Roy's Towing was nothing short of a nightmare. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. From their exorbitant pricing to their abysmal customer service and damage caused to my vehicle's tires, this towing company embodies everything you'd want to avoid. Firstly, their pricing was shockingly high. When I needed assistance with my vehicle, I expected a fair cost for the service provided. However, Roy's Towing took advantage of the situation, quoting a price that was far beyond any reasonable standard. It felt like they were preying on vulnerable customers in distress. Furthermore, their customer service was appalling. The employees were incredibly rude and unprofessional throughout the entire process. It's as if they had no respect for their customers and treated us as if we were a burden. Any attempt to discuss the exorbitant pricing or the damage they caused was met with condescension and indifference. The worst part of the ordeal was the damage they inflicted on my vehicle's tires. During the towing process, they failed to handle my car properly, leading to visible and undeniable damage to the tires. When I pointed this out, they denied any responsibility and refused to provide any form of compensation. I strongly urge everyone to avoid Roy's Towing at all costs. They have proven to be dishonest, rude, and careless, leaving customers with a damaged vehicle and a bitter taste in their mouths. RE: Kevin Valle at Roy's Towing. This is the second time my Mercedes SL 600 V-12 1997 car failed to turn over due to a battery issue in over two years. The first time it happened, an expert from Roy's Towing came to the rescue. My vintage car is tough to open when the battery dies. I couldn't do it. But Kevin Valle did it without an issue and did an expert job. He quickly had me up and running in no time. The dead battery happened again today. This morning, I asked another towing company someone to help with the dead battery problem first. He did not have the knowledge or skill needed to do this job. Twenty-five minutes latter I let him know that I would be calling AAA. I asked AAA to please send me someone who understood my older car. I was very worried. I felt so much relief and felt blessed when Kevin Valle showed up in his Roy's Towing truck. We both smiled in recognition. When someone familiar does an excellent job and returns to help again in your life, that brings on pure joy. I felt so lucky. My fear of not being able to get into the trunk because of the dead battery subsided. Not an easy task. Mr. Kevin Valle is very kind, pleasant, positive and has a great attitude. Best of all, he has the patience needed to do a tough job. A trustworthy family guy. I can tell he likes his work and is receiving the respect he deserves. Thank you very much Kevin Valle! This is really a ten star review as it involves two five-star interactions with Roy's Towing in a month. On Memorial day I took my motorcycle to the local cemetery to honor my father and his service. Got back on the bike... and nothing. Dead battery. I called AAA who told me that they couldn't help me because I didn't have a motorcycle "rider." I then called Roy's Towing who told me to call AAA back and what to tell them, then within minutes AAA had Roy's Towing out to help and I was back on the road. Battery wasn't dead-- the contacts just needed cleaning. Over this last weekend I got in our Lexus and found that battery dead. Called AAA who sent John Tucker out. I thought it would take a half hour at least, but he was there in no time at all. He found that the battery was dead (it was), tested it, checked the alternator, and really did everything he could to make sure that I wouldn't experience any problems. He then suggested that I read the fine print on the battery receipt. I did, and found out just how good Roy's warranty is. I was so lucky Airand was able to take my call tonight. It was Christmas, raining, and almost midnight. I was going through the canyon in Moorpark to get home and hit a section of road where rocks had fallen. My front tire went flat and I had to call AAA. They quoted an hour wait and Airand showed up right on time. He apologized for the wait and told me someone hit his truck and broke the tail light on his way to me!! We talked a little bit while he was working and he mentioned that he wasn't even on call that night, but he was the only one available to help. He was very polite despite the inconvenience of the entire situation. He was very quick and told me to drive straight home and recommended taking surface streets. I know how difficult it is to be positive in certain situations, but his good attitude and speed in replacing the tire made my night so much easier. Thank you Airand and Roy's towing. If there was a minus! Terrible, TERRIBLE business acumen. If you have a daughter, hide them from him. If you have a nice car, or a car that you value, steer clear of these guys specifically their employee JIM. He gets a kick out of not only threatening and bullying young girls at their private residence, but he also enjoys intentionally wanting to damage nice cars. AND, he doesn't just stop there! He threatens and intimidates young girls to illegally tow their cars from their private home while joyfully laughing. When calling his employer to notify him of his employees antics, his employer just laughed it off and said: "What do you want me to do about it?". Train your employees to have respect for peoples private property, respect young girls and women, and finally respect his job and do it decently or, if you haven't already, at the very least, you will find yourself with a harassment lawsuit. Clearly a case of "the fish rots from the head down." Bad leadership is the root cause of an organization's failure and demise. read more

I would like to start by thanking Juan Lopez for his outstand professional service. Juan showed up on time and immediately was able to identify the problem. My 2014 Lexus IS 250 was not starting and my dashboard electrics where acting up. Juan took a look at the car battery and showed me two rats nest in my engine block. He explained that the cost for wiring repairs can be very costly due to the time it takes to check each connection. It felt like 1000 pounds was lifted off my chest after Juan had asked if I checked with my insurance for coverage. This is something I would have never thought to check on and was in fact with in my policy. Juan loaded up my car quickly and provided me a ride to my local dealership. The initial mileage quote of the tow was for 7 miles. When we arrived Juan was able to save me an additional 15 dollars because it was in fact only 6 miles. We were totally satisfied by this AAA service provider! We were returning from a short vacation in the LA region to our home in Monterey, when we stopped for fuel at Agoura. When we tried to return to the freeway, our vehicle would not start. We logged a call with AAA and was told we might have to wait up to an hour. It was late so we thought we might have to stay the night and have the vehicle repaired the next day. Instead, the AAA driver (Airand) arrived in less than 10 minutes! He was on his lunch break, but decided he could help a motorist first. Then, he quickly diagnosed the problem to be a bad battery and even had the right size replacement in his truck. A quick fix and we were back on the road and were able to make it home that night despite the late hour. Airand was personable, professional and knowledgable. I had an issue with my car not starting and initially thought I'd have to get the car towed to the dealership. I had a new battery installed a couple months back so didn't think it was the battery but something else electrical. Called AAA and Roy's sent over a flatbed driven by Johnny (he checked the battery and initially tried to jump it with no luck). He couldn't get it out of the garage so had to call in another two truck (that picks up the car) driven by Junior. They were able to get the car out of the garage and planned on getting towed by the second truck when Junior decided to look under the hood and check. Junior did a reset by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery and the car started with no issues. With newer cars full of electronics today, sometimes it just needs a reset. I was extremely satisfied with their service and didn't have to get my car towed to the dealership! read more

This message/rating is long overdue. The guy's at Roy's are amazing, specifically Bill B. Over two years ago, 12/9/17, my car broke down on the freeway and I had no clue where I was. After a quick call with Bill, he arrived within 20 minutes. He helped me fix a flat and I was on my way. He tailed me for a mile or two to make sure everything was okay when suddenly my drive shaft disconnected and started dragging on the road. I could hear the noise but once again, had no clue what to do. Bill told me to pull over and he knew exactly how to fix. We didn't have the tools to properly do the the job but Bill asked me for my belt and like MacGyver, he somehow managed to wrap my belt around the drive shaft to reconnect in with the base of my car. This gave my car enough stability to make it home safe and sound. Sorry for the delay but thank you for the excellent service and support! read more

My slave cylinder goes bad on my '15 BMW M5 while waiting at the stop light on Hillcrest and Wilbur in T.O. today. Leaves me unable to put my car in gear and stranded in the middle of the road blocking traffic. Roy's towing showed up within 15 min and fortunately for me Dan was driving. My vehicle is running coil over suspension and sits low to the ground so towing my vehicle is the last thing I ever want. Dan was not only meticulous and careful but treated my vehicle with the same level of professionalism and courtesy he showed me. If the hand of God reached down and placed it on the flatbed, I doubt my car could have been treated any better. This afternoon, while driving on freeway 101 going north, the tread of the left rear tire detached leaving my car out of control in the opposite direction after a spin. I was able to manage to turn my car around and pull it to the right shoulder of the road without hitting or hurting anybody. Immediately I called AAA to request Road Side Assistance to install the spare tire. AAA provided an estimated time for the help to come. Surprisingly enough Roy's Towing truck showed up ahead of the estimated time. His representative, Mr. Kowrosh, was very courteous and very caring to ask me to place myself away from the transit to the right of my car. He installed the spare tire in no time. Everyone at Roy's is the best. It really sucks to have to call for a tow, a jump or something else. Over the years I've used them many times through AAA, but if I had to call someone they would be my #1 choice. Anytime I have a tow I need a flatbed & they have driven my & my son to the shop, to kind and considerate. Last time I my car wouldn't start & the amazing tech noticed there was corrosion & he clean it for me with baking soda I had at home. Then I noticed a dead critter in the engine compartment (ewwwww) he was so kind to take it out & dispose of it for me. I don't think I could have gone through my day knowing it was there. I wish I got his name, but honestly anytime I called they always go way above and beyond. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thank you to everyone at Roy's. read more
