They water the gas down and charge a higher price than any shell nearby. Avoid if at all possible.

When I first…read morecalled Castaic Towing, I was frustrated to learn they couldn't tow the vehicle without a key due to company policy. At the time, I'll admit I wasn't thrilled. But here's what really impressed me: instead of just saying "sorry" and moving on, they went the extra mile and contacted a competitor on my behalf who could handle the tow under those circumstances. That kind of professionalism and thoughtfulness matters. Policies are policies -- I understand that -- but taking the time to help me find a solution when they couldn't do the job themselves speaks volumes. Customer care isn't just about saying yes; it's about helping people move forward. I truly appreciated that.

Only after hooking me up and putting me on the flatbed, and as I was sitting in the cab with the driver, he handed me the phone to his dispatch. The dispatcher said AAA does not cover commercial vehicles. I explained it is not a commercial vehicle. It is my personal daily driver. They then said the van had to be emptied to be towed. I was in Santa Clarita needed to get it to my car alarm installer as I thought the issue was with my aftermarket car alarm not my battery. They charged me $350 to go 25 miles. We called AAA and they said this is not the case. I have filed a complaint with AAA. Screw you, Castaic towing for the predatory practices. Obviously zero stars of available.

Before any work began, I reviewed the entire project with them in detail and was quoted approximately $1,500 for the installation. When the work was finished, I was shocked to receive a bill for nearly $10,000. We had added only a few additional items, and at no point was I informed that the cost had increased anywhere close to that amount. If someone is spending thousands of dollars beyond the original estimate, a professional shop should communicate those changes before proceeding. What disappointed me most wasn't just the price--it was the lack of communication and the way the situation was handled. Rather than trying to work with me to resolve the issue, the interaction became unnecessarily confrontational and ultimately ended up in Court and arbitration. We settled the matter for $5,000, which I would have gladly discussed and paid if there had been honest communication and a reasonable effort to resolve the issue before it reached that point. The shop itself also left a poor impression. The showroom, office, and front counter were extremely cluttered and disorganized, which reflected the overall experience I had. Good customer service is built on communication, transparency, and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I cannot recommend Santa Clarita Auto Sound. Do Not Do Business with them!!!
