Not about Chevron specifically but about THE CAR WASH! So I visited this car wash on April 2, 2026 at 11:40am and went through the automatic wash. Immediately after, my windshield had multiple tiny new chips and three cracks that were not there before. I filed an incident report on-site, but staff were unable to provide any manager contact or business insurance information. I was only told that a manager Amber Gout "comes once a week" and would call me, which is not an appropriate way to handle property damage. I'm simply asking for accountability and proper next steps to resolve damage that occurred during your service. I will update this review based on how this is handled. Update: I now have the employee's name, company contact info, and my incident report filed, and written acknowledgement. While staff mentioned cameras as "proof of what I came there for," I'm simply looking for accountability for the windshield damage that happened during the wash. Rude customer service. Stopped in politely to ask for change, and the older woman working was extremely rude for no reason. I even asked if I could break my bills by buying something, and her response was sarcastic and unnecessary. No reason to treat people like that. Won't be coming back. read more

Seem to always receive the worst service here. These service locations aren't typically worth a review, but this one left a lasting impression more than the previous bad customer service here. Case in point, walking in tonight, I'm their only customer, and the staff leisurely gets his coffee, chats/greets someone familiar as he walks to the register, asks me what I need and then proceeds to answer the phone without explanation, and I'm standing there again, waiting... finally, another employee walks up to the front from the back, and she asks me if I've been helped, and I know I was exasperated when I said, "I actually don't know. This guy doesn't seem to be in any rush to help me." Just annoying more than anything when there is lack of urgency or efficiency to acknowledge customers. Almost every time. This happens all too often here. I dislike giving them my business, but when I have to (usually just for location access) I advise only use cash. Too many times I've encountered bank issues after this location's transaction and I just posted a screenshot from another guest's recent experience where their credit card info may have been compromised. read more

Never coming here again! So I didn't care to get his name but for reference it's the dude who works night shifts, always in that same unwashed beanie, tall/weird looking no girlfriend iykyk! Took his minimum wage job way too seriously about 30 minutes ago, let me start off by saying I never have written a negative review in my life, but today I'm gladly too bc enough is enough with the rude staff! This is not my first time dealing with unhappy, miserable employees they have kept working there that have no customer service skills whatsoever. It's literally sad and a terrible look for my community. The first couple times I had an issue I let it slide, I get it we have our days, but this time I'm over. As a customer who has lived in canyon hills most of my life and been a loyal customer to this gas station since the day it open but now I will NEVER go there again! Happy there's another local gas station close by! All this leads to why? For the fact that, I just purchased one of those pushed up popsicles and a few more things and when leaving store I dropped my popsicle on ground. A previous customer n I laughed and thought let me ask if I can grab another, why not, no biggie? I mean it's a popsicle, it's been humid, thing melted quick, fell to ground lol anywho, I simply explained why honestly and that dude that I described above in a very rude way says to me, "oh no there's nothing I can do about that, you need to BUY another?!?!" really ? Like I come in almost every other night, morning, afternoon, spending money, and you thinking you gunna lose your job or something for helping a customer in such a situation. Replacing something as minor as that, he could of definitely went the customer service approach to it but instead he miserably wanted to be rude and take his job so seriously. Your company today lost hundreds I would normally spend filling my gas, buying drinks, etc. over a $3-$4 push up popsicle. This gas station is the closest to my house so it's convenient. I rarely pump gas here however because it's just always so expensive. It always seems to be higher priced than any other gas station around but then again I am paying for the convenience. Then again, it is Chevron so their fuel is better quality than most. The times that I stop by any other Chevron are when I feel like spoiling my vehicle with some high end fuel. This location is pretty well maintained and ran by friendly staff. The pumps aren't dirty and beat up like other stations. One thing I like to use is the squeegee to clean my windows and this place always keeps their stations filled with water which is great. The squeegees aren't beat up or worn out either. Great Chevron located right off of Railroad Canyon to stop by at to get some quick gas and snacks for the road. read more

Tonight on my way home to Los Angeles, I stopped for a drink and gas. I was tired, hot , and thirsty and not the sharpest knife in the block. I said pump 3 but I was at pump 6, it took me a couple of attempts to understand that pump 6 wasn't going to give me gas. I ran back in and told Stephanie I gave wrong pump number, and I was sorry. To make a short story long the guy at pump 3 had pumped his fuel (my fuel) and oddly, was on a out of country phone call and couldn't hang up. To fix my blunder required him to go inside and pay for his fuel so I could get mine. I apologized profusely and he seemed ok. He went in and came out few minutes later I apologized again and we both were about to leave. When he goes back inside for something he came out not happy with the other lady who was working. (I'm sorry I didn't get your name). I'm not clear on what happened but to the awesome ladies working Stephanie and lady who walked out with customer I'm sorry, it was my fault if I hadn't been a dingbat none of that would've happened! Thank you ladies for being super nice no matter what. I'm sorry the man wasn't very kind to you! To the man in white truck I'm sorry I'm a dingbat and caused a mini nightmare for you. I stop specifically at Canyon Hills Chevron every time I've in the are because it's location is awesome easy to get in and out, always clean , stocked , And employees know what good customer service is. It appears this particular chevron is notorious for ripping off patrons. I didn't realize this until my card was duplicated last night after using it at one of their pumps. *** Pitstop Review (Lake Elsinore) *** Ok place to pull over to refuel and pick up some quick snacks. It's a convenient station traveling from the 15 to 215. It's a clean station, but sooo crowded. Here's what liked... * Clean new looking station in a nice looking area. Here's what I didn't like... * It's soooo crowded inside the store in the morning. The lines are long and sooo slow. * Restroom is cleaner than most gas stations in general. Holy Crap! I just read all of the reviews about multiple people getting fraudulent charges after using this station! Now I'm going to monitor my card for charges. Guess I'm NOT coming back here. It's just not worth it when crooks put skimmers on the pumps. I've been hit a few times recently and the hassle is just not worth it. And the comment about the "hackers" getting the information... it's very localized to the pumps themselves getting the information extracted by sliding the cards. That's why every time I get information stolen it's only when going to gas stations. I think that's why they automatically inform card holders to "see attendant". Going inside is a safer way to protect your card, but such a hassle because this store is packed, the lines are long, and the service slow! read more

I went in to buy a Red Bull. The elastic on one side of my Covid face mask had broken when walking in so I did my best to hold up the broken side to remain covered. I grabbed a Red Bull from the cooler. The one behind it was somehow punctured & making a huge mess. I grabbed it as well & took it to the front counter with me so that the employees could dispose of it & be notified it the puddle by the coolers. The woman working, Amy, couldn't of possibly been ruder to me. "GET OUT UNLESS YOU HAVE YOUR FACE MASK ALL THE WAY ON!" I get the seriousness of Covid & the (obvious) mass panic - but there's no reason to treat somebody like that who is trying to help. Well, I was trying to keep the broken side on but was trying to get her the leaking soda, also. I explained that to her, but she continued yelling at me like I was a child. To put it frankly, Amy was a f*cking b*tch. I was embarrassed by her in front of other employees as well as customers. Beautiful station and complex BUT THE SERVICE AND PEOPLE ARE TERRIBLE! They advertise prices and specials throughout the store and don't honor the prices. When I questioned that they were not charging me the correct price the only thing the associate could say was - "I just work here, if it doesn't scan at the price there is nothing I can do, you can talk to the manager tomorrow." Associates are oblivious, rude and can care less about their jobs or customers. Had a bad experience in the convince store and now I will never return to buy gas, use the car wash or even eat at the Mexican restaurant attached. We've been hacked 3 times in the past few years. It's posted all over Facebook, people getting hacked with charges at different gas stations. This last time for us, 2 charges from a 76 gas station in Riverside on my husbands card, not even possible for him to pump gas twice at the same gas station for $95 each in Riverside when he works in Long Beach, however he did get $25 worth of gas at this Canyon Hills gas station Monday morning! Besides getting fraudulent charges on our debit card, trying to get in and out of the pumps is such a hassle, it is way to tight and cramped! ***HACKED 3 more times from this visit-$600 total taken!! read more

This spot is super clean inside and out. The cashiers are always cool. They get you in and out and on your way! I love going here to get gas. The prices aren't too high and this Chevron is close by my house. They have a beer cave here with a huge selection of beers and other spirits! Another bonus here is there car wash! Another horrible experience at this Chevron... needed to grab gas quickly and decided it was time for a car wash... Waited behind 3 vehicles and bam the machine breaks down. (Wasn't even mad... this happens) I go inside and let one of the workers know about it and asked for a refund, he insisted he could reset the machine and wash my car... he couldn't fix it. He walks away and another lady walks up and asks me to come inside to give me a refund, so I come around again and she says "do you wanna come back or get a refund?" And I said I wanted a refund... "I'm going to have to take off the fuel discount" Really? I told her I had been there for nearly twenty minutes and you're gonna go that route? This place is a joke. I've gone to this Chevron in a pinch, but like one reviewer said, it is over priced by comparison to the Elsinore Costco, or even the 7-11 on Main just off the 15, the cut rate place further west, or the AM/PM on Graham. Most of the time the clerks have been fine. The store is neat and clean with a great selection of goodies. The reason I am writing this review is that there has been a rash of debit/credit card number thefts at this particular Chevron. Happened recently to my daughter and she says many people have been hit here. There's a Canyon Hills FaceBook page that confirms this. Maybe that's why the clerks keep changing. In any case, probably best to get your gas and goodies elsewhere. read more

HORRIBLE!! Absolutely the worst place to get gas! I live in the community and have to stop here for gas...without fail, either the pump isn't working, I have to go inside to pay or the credit card machine is down. One time I paid for a wash and only afterward they told me it was broken. I just can't with this place anymore. I'm going to the Shell off the freeway from now on. I have been going to this gas station for about a year. I love it's convenience and food mart. But something has changed with the pumps a software update maybe, i dont know. But I can't get them to take my card and pump gas. I went there this morning and had to go inside to pay the cashier to turn on a pump. I tried two different pumps and no go. Screw that. They're improving I think! Gas pump last time was super fast, didn't have to wait for the pump computer at all! Fastest one of any gas station! Car wash is improved too! New display panel and fast as well. Best thing was the customer service. Two Sunday afternoon girls, super nice. (As opposed to grumpy grumpy all the time people at Irvine Chevron.) Hate the way they're advertised price reflects the car wash price though. That's false advertising and what drew me away from them for a long while but now they're starting to win me back over due to their customer service. read more

Just got a call from Chevron that someone recently charged a total of $185 in Buena Park and Long Beach on our Chevron card. I have NOT been to those cities in months. Because of convenience, this Chevron is the only station I have been going to for gas. A few days ago, I remember I was having a very difficult time inserting my gas card into the slot on one of the pumps. It never dawned on me that this could be a device inserted into the pump by criminals to steal info from the card. After the call from Chevron, I checked the internet for gas card information theft-wow! I didn't realize how rampant this problem is. I never checked the reviews for this place on Yelp, otherwise I would have been forewarned about this happening to other customers. If I ever have to get gas here ( and that's a big if), I would pay on the inside with cash. read more

Try to buy alcohol, showed my driver's license and was grilled with questions why my license was out of state and why I'm here. Now, credit card is down for 10 minutes. I doubt anybody reviews Yelp to determine where they'll get gas but thought I'd post anyway. This place sucks! At least 50% of the time the pump doesn't work. Today the card feature didn't work on any pump so they put signs that said to go inside. They only had one person working inside and she was super slow. I walked out to avoid the line. Several times we have had our card number stolen from this station. We recently had 12 $100.00 charges on my husband's card. The charges were made in 2 cities we have never been to. Our bill was over $1400.00. We reported the theft and Chevron is issuing us a new card. This is at least the 3rd time this has happened to us at this station. Someone needs to investigate what is going on at this location. Local businesses have warned us to not buy our gas there. read more
