This review is just for the propane and the help that I got from Alejandro. This was my first time buying propane, so I didn't know the procedure or even how to approach it. I pull in and park next to the giant propane tank on site and walked into the gas station to ask for help. Alejandro was super kind and let me know to wait by the propane tank and he'll be out to assist me. He walked me through the process and explained how everything works. He was also kind enough to load my 54 lbs. tank full of propane into my car. I'm not sure if everyone is this kind here at this Chevron station, but Alejandro sure made my first experience a happy one. I was written up a receipt after Alejandro was done and paid inside the Chevron station. This whole process took 5 minutes or so and I was on my way. For $3.49 per gallon, this is the cheapest place I can find in South OC where you can get a refill. read more

El Toro, Ca. My car doesn't run on gasoline but I come here often to get my propane tank filled. If you live in Laguna this is probably the closest and easiest place to get propane. I like that it's sold by the gallon and not a flat fee. I do believe there is a minimum charge however (Around $6.00). The service is quick, easy, and very friendly. Its not one of those places where they think they are doing you a great favor to fill your propane tank. Park near the big tank, put your tank on the shelf, go in and tell them you need propane. A guy will come right out and fill the tank, and give you a ticket. Take the ticket back inside and pay. Come back out, grab your tank and leave. Pretty simple. read more

Probably the cheapest propane fill up location in south OC. There's a location further south in Laguna Niguel but they charge a minimum fee of 26 dollars. This Chevron sells each gallon of propane at 3.49, but there is a 3 gallon, 11 dollar minimum. Wish they sold by the gallon but it is what it is. They have this station by their propane tank that you put your tank on then wait for someone to come help you. Pretty straightforward but you do feel awkward standing there waiting to be noticed. Some places won't fill tanks that are smaller than 20lb etc but they didn't have any issues or complaints with my 5lb tank. read more

I stopped at El Toro Chevron on 23891 Bridger Road in Lake Forest. I added gas to Diana's car since it was almost empty. Yeah, that was not smart of me to wait that long, but I was going from place to place writing reviews. The place was nice and clean. The cashier was nice and friendly. I paid $50 and it took it all! I cleaned I windshield of the car, then I left. I needed to take the income tax envelope to our tax lady. Yes a little late to have them done. Then I went to look for a place to write a review. Not much to say here other than it's our regular stop if we need to fuel up before getting on the highway as it's right on the entrance. Prices are ok, store and bathrooms clean. It does get full but they have more pumps and better prices than across the street. read more

Overpriced gas station right off the 5 freeway. Staff is rude. Had the audacity to kick me out. I was here around 2 AM to clean my windshield using their window cleaners on the sides of the pumps and he did not want me parking there by the pumps.. I pay a fortune for gas here $6+ per gallon. Go to another Chevron where you can get much friendlier service. read more

I needed a place to fill 4 propane tanks and saw this Chevron location with the propane filling service. Went there and had the tanks filled and couldn't have had a better experience. Very friendly, quick, and no minimum full charge on individual tanks. They simply line them up, fill them, and charge for an overall fill volume. Thank you for the great service. read more

These guys doubled the price for their RV dump to $20. I'll never use this gas station again. O'Neil Park is $9, Doheny is $10. I'll find another gas station to dump and buy beer, and food, and gas. Hope the extra 10 bucks was was good business decision. read more

This station is one of the few in the area that sells propane by the gallon, and not by a fixed fee. As of 09/10/17, their price is $2.99/gallon, plus tax, with a $6 minimum. A lot of stations in the MV, LF, LH area have taken to charging a flat fee that ranges between $17-20 to fill a standard 20-lb tank, regardless of how much propane you actually need (bring in a half-full tank for top off, pay the full fee; bring in a completely empty tank, pay the full fee.) In comparison, at this station, I brought in two empty tanks, and paid $20 for the 6.2 gallons that it took to fill them both. read more

I have been coming to this gas station for the last 10 years the workers have always been good but this one Mexican guy who thinks he owns the business, always has an attitude and is disrespectful. I just pumped gas and had $60 back which is the only reason why I stoped so I can get change and decided to say there was no change when I clearly saw there was enough change . A convenient enough gas station as it is right off the freeway on El Toro. With the convenience, you will pay a little more however I found that the price was reasonable (comparably speaking). The interior of their mini mart is clean enough with plenty of snack options and coffee as well as a Subway connected to it. read more

You will never meet a better group of employees at any other station. I travel the U.S.A. and love seeing the employees at this station because they care. I have been going to this station for 32 years getting gas and propane from them. Their prices are always in line with everyone else on the street. This is a clean environment for bathrooms and food with subway being inside with the store. Very convenient. read more

Easy quick subway to stop at when you are hungry. Nothing special here but when are getting gas or some other goodies it is convenient just to go inside. Lunchtime isn't too crazy busy but you likely still want to come during off hours. I don't usually get gas with Chevron so doesn't make as much sense to come here when I am not already in the area.
