I've gone here a countless number of times since I've started working in the area (4+ years). I actually only come here for snacks/drinks (99% of the time). They now carry warm croissants and surprisingly, the ham & cheese w/ jalapeno is pretty good! I wouldn't say it's as good as some donut places, but it darn well hits the spot. This Chevron is close to a busy intersection and plaza. Lunch time gets busy as heck, and you may find it hard to turn into or leave the gas station as the rush is unreal. The customer service is great. The staff is friendly and is always willing to lend a hand. The gas pumps can stretch to the opposite side of the car, which is awesome so you don't have to wait to get a pump on the side of your tank lid. The only thing I dislike about this gas station is the fact that there are so many people who can't read the DO NOT ENTER signs, and will proceed to enter in the wrong direction. This is strange and very out of the ordinary, but I don't believe they are giving the proper amount of gasoline through the pumps. I had a 5 gallon gas can and put 5 gallons of gas in and it was way below the level and I know this gas can cause I use it all the time this gas station is short changed to me when I went inside. When you pay 24$ for a full service wash, you would think you get a full service. You would think they dry and remove the bugs off the car since there wash is crap and doesnt remove anything from cars. You can tell the vacuum suck here too. Why should i pay 24$ for full service when you dont give that. Thats what my truck costs for a full service hand wash by my house in laguna hills and they actually do a good job. I've been going to the service station every since it opened up almost 20 years ago. I've seen owners come and go with the car wash. The car wash is pretty awesome but the sprayers are so powerful it goes through my sunroof so I can't use it. The people that work here are very friendly. The only thing that they have done in the last few years is change the entrance into a one-way exit one-way entry only and it is horrible. If you come at peak traffic times it is actually dangerous trying to come in to the gas station because of the heavy traffic on Trabucco. I rarely come here anymore during peak hours. The location of the entrances are kind of in an awkward place and I'm sure that's why they made an entry and exit only places to try to improve traffic but a lot of people don't like it. The bathrooms inside are always super clean and if you need to pick up a greeting card you will find some true originals here. Sometimes I come here just to get a greeting card! We were treated so rude by a car wash attendant. The car wash computer was not working so we couldn't buy a wash. I tried to get his attention while he was walking on the side walk that we need help. Well, he walks over and first thing he says is "I'm not a prostitute. I'm a man." I was apparently motioning for him to help and he was very rude and obviously has low self esteem. I paid $14 for their best drive through self service wash. When I got through I went to the vacuums and noticed spots all over the car that would not wipe off with my towel. I determined it was residue from the spray on wax. I asked an assistant manager who looked over the car. He said I could run it through again but the same thing would happen. He wiped my windows down so I could see where I was going and I left. Back home I spent 15 minutes with a detailing spray and a clean towel cleaning up the car. I just went to get my car washed here because prices are great and they have always done a great job. However when I got my car back, I noticed my lucky dollar, that I have tucked behind a little Buddha on my dashboard was missing. Now this is a lucky dollar that a late aunt gave me when I got my car and has been behind that Buddha (which is glued down mind you) for the last 10 years. Through countless road trips, car washes, oil changes, and a handful of accidents, the Buddha nor dollar have moved or "fallen off." At first I was kind of bummed and was about to let it go because it was just a dollar, and clearly whoever took it needed it more than I did....but it's the principle that matters. They CLEARLY STOLE my dollar! That dollar means a lot more to me than its monetary value and whoever took it was just going to demean the value of it to me by spending it on a bag of chips or soda. So I went back to let them know that my dollar was missing and all the guys gathered around and one guy finally pulled it out of his pocket...still folded exactly how I had it. He tried lying and telling me that he found the dollar on the floor. So he found money on my floor and just keeps it instead of placing it on my dashboard or cup holder? I even went out of my way to buy something inside to give them a good tip. If they'll steal just a dollar, imagine what else they might steal. God forbid I accidentally left my iPod in my car, what would they say, "Oh, it was just on the floor." That doesn't make it okay to steal something. Especially since my dollar was NOT on the floor. This Chevron is located next to the McDonald's and KFC on Trabuco. It also has a car wash and it's a Pokémon GO gym. I needed gas and there was a clearly marked entrance and exit. But too much room was allocated to the car wash's exit, so there was no room to drive out where the exit was, so I had to go back out the entrance by doing some weird maneuvers while driving. Refueling the car went appropriately, I put the credit card in the machine and put gas in the car. But getting out was just weird. Numeric rating is based off the purpose of the visit, which only included refueling a vehicle. I might re-review it if I need a car wash later on, though. read more

I almost always buy gas at the Chevron station on Trabuco Rd. in Lake Forest. I just gassed up one of our cars and for cash I paid, $ 3.19 a gallon. They keep it clean and are always treat you well. The techs were extremely rude and told me to move when I asked about drying. This was after spending $40 on gas. I liked the fact that they made some renovations with their gasoline pumps. What I can't stop complaining to myself is that their machines don't provide gas receipts and always prompted me to see the cashier for a receipt. The reason why I use card to pay for my gasoline is to save time from not going inside the store only to be prompted to go inside the store. read more

Very kind and helpful workers!!! I locked my keys inside my 2017 Jeep Wrangler JK and was stuck looking for someone to open my car. Luckily, they saw that I had my window slightly open and managed to open my car with a stick (I believe it was). Whatever it is, they helped without even charging me for anything. I drove in this evening to get an oil change that I had been delaying. You stay in your car. You can see pretty much everything that is going on with the technician showing full dip stick with clean oil when everything is done. The price is expensive more than I expected but cheaper than the dealer and worth the convenience. I am pretty sure this place tried to scam me. I went in and asked for 5 dollars on a pump. When I went back to my pump, the screen said it was working but the gas wouldn't come out. I went in to let them know that the pump might be broken, the guy told me I have to do it within a minute or else it won't work. I went back tried it again, didn't work. I went in again to ask; I didn't even say anything, the worker looked at me and said they only have supreme and immediately suggested a refund. That was obviously a lie in my opinion because I was there for a good 15-20 trying to get some gas. The whole time no one complained about the pumps AND was able to pump gas just fine (I assuming they all used card). I find it highly unlikely all of these customers pumped supreme. Furthermore, if it is a scam, it works with cash because you give them the money prior whereas with card you need to pump the gas first. I told my mom and she said she also had problems with this gas station with her credit card. They charged her 100 dollars for no reason and when she called to ask they said they were having problems with their system. read more

This Chevron is usually the cheapest in the immediate area and prices are comparable to the pair of Chevrons on El Toro at the 5 freeway. I haven't used the car wash in years (I prefer doing it myself over at the wash bays on Lake Forest and Dimension) but their services are quite good. The downside is that this station gets very busy in the morning, at lunch, and at rush hour. It's quiet after hours. read more

I like this station because it is convenient. It is at the intersection of two main roads: Bake Parkway and Irvine Blvd / Trabuco Road. The prices are also pretty low in that area. The downside is that because it is relatively cheap and at a busy intersection, there are usually a bunch of cars at all the pumps. And it is annoying when people leave their cars unattended for 10+ minutes. Still, I like to stop by on the way home before hitting the 5 freeway. read more

I just got a car wash at the place because it was really cheap as low as $4. I put the gear as "neutral" and waited for it to be finish and all of a sudden, a car behind me slightly hits my car from the back.
