Wow Costco Gasoline is catching up with the other big gasoline companies! Their gasoline costs $5 per gallon and interesting enough this happens soon after after the recent poll... I did not notice any Costco employee manning the gas station though I did not need any help and maybe still early for them at 8:15 am.

So as always its Costco and its gas. They are almost always cheaper than surrounding areas. So why 3 stars? The lines was insane and very convulsed making getting in and out difficult and time consuming. Its near several mall type areas so its pretty crowded to begin with. The pumps are designed for speed, but it still takes time when it is this backed up.

Trick on not waiting in line so long in the gas line is to .. Definitely get your gas early morning Or an hour before they close Works out the I'm an early riser Love how the handles are always clean Went to a non-Costco gas station and the handle was sticky lol definitely regretted not making it to a Costco location Always feel safe going to a Costco gas station Gas up !!! Adventures await !!!!!

For April 27, 2021, if any yelpers happen to check this page..gas will be unavailable until after 3:30 pm.

I mean, it's a Costco gas so there should not be much to talk about here...but as expected the pricing is a bit lower than nearby competitors. As mentioned in other reviews, there's lanes with 2 pumps or 3 pumps. Costco could definitely do a better job with directing traffic, as I attribute most of the confusion and jams due to drivers who end up grid-locking other drivers in line. Some people will completely ignore open spots and then the drivers behind will just pull up from behind and directly into slightly shorter lanes. It's chaotic, messy, and can be frustrating but it's the price we all pay in order to save 10-20 cents per 9/10 gallon of gas. As long as you keep your eyes open and you don't easily panic or stress, it's pretty easy to navigate around absent-minded drivers to find a shorter line so that you may receive your gas in a reasonable amount of time. On the plus side, it can be entertaining to watch people fail at paying for gas, cars randomly honking at each other when they take too wide of turns, or cars that aren't paying attention and have another car swoop in and take their spot. It's great that Costco at least installed the spot vacancy signs above each gas lane to indicate if a spot is open, and the key fob makes it easy and touch-free to pay for gas (also the receipt is emailed automatically). Best of luck getting your spot in for your next Costco gas visit!

My car is like me always busy, running around, and hungry. Had to fill up my car so I can get to places and work and have fun as well. Always a long line here but now there's a staff member directing cars where to go so you don't have to worry about people cutting in front of you in line.

It has sensors to let you know if there is a free station

I've been loving getting gas here recently. No lines whatsoever and the prices are great! Of course you need a Costco card. If you are also shopping, go inside and get a fob key for gas. You just need to scan your fob key and it is linked to your credit/debit. Easy!

The slurpee section was not so good. Quite sticky and there were issues in finding straws. I had to ask the staff for a refill on the straws with the scooper on the end. Easy checkout while I went to get food for my car. The gas nozzles were quite dirty and sticky. Luckily I had some extra disposal gloves so it wasn't a problem. The windshield wiper container only had water and no soap so I didn't get a good clean on my windshield. Overall OK experience. It does have one of the cheaper rates for gas so it's worth a stop here.

Unlawful Harassment and Disability Discrimination--Owner Needs to Address This Immediately…read more I was subjected to blatant discrimination and harassment at this 7-Eleven location (8693 Irvine Center Dr, Irvine, CA). After purchasing items inside, I sat in my truck to eat. Despite the parking lot being completely dead and no delivery trucks present, a staff member approached and harassed me twice, claiming the owner instructed him to make me move. This is a direct violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California's Unruh Civil Rights Act. I am a person with a disability, and I was denied reasonable accommodations to simply enjoy the food I paid for. There are absolutely no posted time limits for patrons in this lot. To make matters worse, another vehicle was parked right next to me for just as long--if not longer--and the staff completely ignored them. I was singled out, targeted, and forced to leave without any legitimate reason. When I questioned the employee, he arrogantly claimed he "knows the laws." When I asked if he was disabled or actually knew disability law, he admitted he did not. He then explicitly told me that delivery vehicles regularly park in the handicapped zone. Parking delivery vehicles in a designated blue grid or handicap space is completely illegal under California Vehicle Code 22507.8. I have personally witnessed other delivery trucks parked in spaces on the opposite side of the building before, so there is plenty of space for deliveries. To the Owner of this Franchise: Your staff's behavior and your alleged corporate policies are exposing you to severe legal and financial ramifications. * ADA Title III Violations: Under federal law, failing to provide reasonable modifications to policies for individuals with disabilities is illegal. * California Unruh Civil Rights Act: In California, an ADA violation automatically triggers a violation of the Unruh Act. This carries a mandatory minimum statutory damage of $4,000 per incident plus attorney's fees. Because your employee harassed me twice, you are looking at multiple stacking violations. * Illegal Handicap Parking Enforcement: Allowing or instructing delivery vehicles to utilize handicap spaces carries steep local law enforcement fines and towing liabilities. Your employee's actions were discriminatory, exclusionary, and highly illegal. You need to immediately retrain your staff on ADA compliance and public accommodation laws before your business faces a formal lawsuit and investigation. I will not be returning, and I will be looking into further legal options

So it was the DAY before Thanksgiving a few years ago, which also happened to be the DAY before I…read moregot paint and the DAY AFTER I paid our rent when my husband and I ran out of cigarettes. Lol. I said, "You know what? I have EXACTLY enough money in my account to buy a pack of cigarettes! I'll be right back!" And I ran across the street. They had JUST hired this kid, Angelo, and for SOME reason, they thought it would be a GREAT idea to leave him running the place ALONE for the night on his FIRST week working!!! So anyway, I went in, asked him for my pack of cigarettes, he rang it up, and I paid for it. I went to go get the cigarettes when he said, "It didn't go through." I looked on my phone and showed him my bank account, that it said, "Purchase at Chevron" at our location on that date at the EXACT minute! He said, "Well it didn't go through on my end." I said, "It HAD to have! Look! It charged my account!" And he said, "No, it didn't." I said, "Ok, can you please call you manager, or someone else who has worked here longer than a week and ask them because I KNOW it went through. It charged my account already, so I already paid for it! You owe me a pack of cigarettes! That was LITERALLY ALL the money that I had in my account!" He said, "No, I'm not calling my manager. It's not MY fault you can't afford them." WHAT?!?! He OBVIOUSLY just didn't want to call them because it was his VERY first night running the store alone and he didn't want to look like an idiot, not knowing how to do something. So I called my husband and told him what was going on and he came over and started getting REALLY pissed. As was I, he could have VERY easily Solved this situation by calling his manager real quick. But god forbid he look dumb. So no no no! He wasn't going to be a mature adult and do that! Absolutely not! So he said, "You guys need to leave or I'm calling the police." Lol!!!! I said, "YOU stole from ME!!! I should call the police on YOU!" So that's EXACTLY what I did! Of COURSE they were SUPER busy that night though, so it took them FOREVER to get there. It was late and we had our daughter with us, so I was holding her, rocking her to sleep outside, waiting for the police to get there, when these two kind men came up and asked if we were ok. We explained what happen and that we were just waiting for the police to show up. They walked inside and asked the kid to sell them the pack of cigarettes that we were trying to buy. Then they came out and handed us the cigarettes. They were like, "Here! Happy Thanksgiving!" I was like, "Oh my god! Are you sure?!?! Let me pay you back tomorrow after I get paid! Please!" And they were like, "No! Take it! Happy Holidays!" And left. It was the nicest thing! So we went home after that and I called the manager of Chevron the next day to report Angelo. They told me to come over and they would give us a pack of cigarettes to make it even. I was soooo upset with the way this kid handled the situation though. And then they didn't even reprimand him at all. To this day, every time I go in there, he's rude as hell to me! If I need change back, I'll put my hand out and he throws the change on the counter in front of me. EVERY FREAKIN TIME! THEN the SECOND negative experience we had was when my husband was over there the other day and he had a $2.50 coupon from Marlboro that the guy didn't put in correctly, so my husband did the math in his head and knew the guy still owed him $2.50. So he asked the guy for his receipt and the guy REFUSED to give him his receipt. My husband was like, "No dude, I NEED my receipt!" And then my husband pulled out his cell phone to start recording and the guy then tells him, "If you put the phone away, we can make a deal!" My husband was like, "What?!?!" And he puts his phone down, then the guy pulls out a TON of cash out of his pocket (as if he'd been pocketing the cash all night long) and pulls out a $5 bill and hands it to my husband. He was like, "What the hell? Okayyyyy....?" And just left... soooo confused as to what just occurred. lol. He called me telling me what just happened and then was like, "Why would he DO that???" I was like, "I have NO idea!" Lol. The ONLY person that I liked was James. But he was either let go or quit a while back ago. :/
