It was really hot today so we stopped by 7 Eleven for a Slurpee and Big Gulp. Some locations make you pay first and then they give you the cup to complete the purchase. The cups weren't by the slurpee machine so we went to the register to pay first. The owner made a comment about the cups being on the counter near the machine but he allowed us to pay first. They were away from the machine, behind the counter near where the employees tend to customers' needs. So we paid for a pack of Funyuns, a large big gulp, and a large slurpee. We went over to the get cups and began to fill up on some cold drinks! As I'm dealing with the slurpee overflowing a bit, the owner (Patel) came over yelling at us. He said that we paid for a medium slurpee and asked why I was getting a large one. My husband showed him the receipt indicating that we paid for a large slurpee. The man didn't believe that we were charged for a large slurpee. He said that we paid for a medium slurpee. Then he started to yell at us and we said that we'd pay for the difference. We showed the receipt to him again and he still said that the receipt said "medium slurpee". So basically, we were confused as to why we could clearly see that we paid for a large slurpee. He was going on and on saying who knows what at this point. So as we approached the register again, we asked what the difference would be so we could just get this over with. He said that we could just go and that we can pay the difference when we come back because he will remember us. Seriously, the receipt shows what we paid for and he was trying to get a few more pennies out of us while wearing his mask on his chin. So alas, we will not be returning to this location again because this predicament was a bit too strange for us. Basically, the other reviews for this location are pretty accurate! All that I wanted was a large slurpee.

I was refused service for no reason. Completely ignored, the guy barely spoke any English and flatly refused to get my order, bypassed me to help other customers and then ignored me like I wasn't there. He claimed to be the supervisor. All I wanted was a pizza, I was refused service. He was also rude and disrespectful and had headphones in, clearly didn't want to be there and should be immediately dismissed. I would never use this 7-11 with current staff. The building was also messy and unkempt, again due to probably staff slacking off and not caring.

I shopped at the 7-Eleven on 24386 Murlands Blvd. in Lake Forest. I bought two apple Danish, one Maruchan instant lunch chicken flavor, one bottle of Coke Zero, The Orange County Register Sunday edition, and two lotto tickets. The place was nice and clean. The cashier was nice and friendly, and the store was a little busy, but my wait was short. I left to shop some more. Robert H.

Enter THIS Seven-Eleven at Your OWN RISK! Mean-spirited late afternoon counter staff!I am NOT alone in my assesment! Worst 7-11 EVER!!!

It's 7-Eleven. How could you go wrong? Slurpees and non-healthy treats at a relatively affordable price. My kind of place ;-)

Now, I'm usually a cheesecake, chocolate cake, or crème brûlée kinda gal. Tiramisu and milk cakes aren't typically my first choice, but they looked delicious in the display case that I decided to give it a shot. We ordered the Tiramisu Milk Cake and the Saffron Milk Cake, along with a couple of Rose lattes, and they completely exceeded my expectations. Light, creamy, fluffy, and perfectly balanced. Not overly sweet, not soggy or swimming in espresso...just incredibly fresh. It's one of the best I've had in a long time. Their cakes definitely set the bar high. I enjoyed the atmosphere just as much. The outdoor patio is spacious, making it a great spot to meet up with friends, bring your laptop to get a little work or studying done, or simply enjoy a coffee. The space is warm, welcoming, and filled with beautiful, unique furniture. While in there, you almost forget you're in Orange County. Highly recommend! I'll definitely be back to try their savory menu next.

It's just because I don't know what it means to practice financial discernment when it comes to fresh bread. And welllllll, look at who's back at Brio Brio Bakery & Cafe again...... I used to come here way more often back when I had recurring appointments in the area, but these days I rarely ever find myself in South OC. Tonight, however, I had a last minute opportunity fall into my lap when I was invited off the wait list to attend a Yelp Elite event at Onyx Golf. Naturally, I had to make an "unnecessary" bakery detour before moseying my way over to the actual main event. Listen -- you have your priorities and I have mine. We listen and we don't (critically) judge! Upon arriving to my old stomping grounds, I immediately went for my usual: the hojicha Basque cheesecake. Some things don't need to be reinvented. It's still rich and creamy as ever, and it's basically the reason I still come back to this place. Since I don't get down here as often anymore, I figured I'd live life a little more frivolously and grab some items I haven't tried before, such as their prime beef curry, kurobuta miso sausage, honey toast, and a GF brownie. My plan for a sweet treat quickly evolved into a larger commitment of carbohydrates, but honestly, I'd like to think of these items as a gift from past me to future me. Brio Brio is also running a promo right now where you get a free cookie with purchase during certain hours. I just want to be fully transparent that I don't remember what those hours are or how long the promo is running, just that it's a weekday ordeal. I know, incredibly insufferable Yelp Elite reporting on my part. You'll simply just have to go in and ask them about it or look for the signage near the register, and then purchase that item you need to qualify for the deal to begin with. Consider my review a very detailed advertisement about a potentially complimentary cookie that idk how to explain the sourcing means for. Lmao, my bad, y'all. Either way, it was refreshing to visit again after all these years. If you're stopping by Brio Brio, you really need to get the hojicha Basque cheesecake. That's singlehandedly the menu item I'll keep coming back for, even when it means I'll be suffering in rush hour traffic on the drive back home.

The big cookie was quite good, although in all honesty I've had better in this genre.
