I have seen a lot of rude customers and customers who look bad or they are homeless and the employees treat them like they were anybody. I am very happy with the company and the employees who work there. People need to remember it is your responsibility what gas pump you are on and to be honest about the water and wood that is outside. Just remember to be honest and not try to steal anything or get the wrong gas pump and then walk in and try to blame it on the employees. Remember it is your responsibility and to be honest. I have seen this lady walk up and she said the gas pump number and the lady who worked there asked her many times and she did say it before she walked out and got gas. The customer was so rude to her and was acting like she was on drugs or something. The employee was very polite and nice to her. I think that maybe she put gas in her car and was trying to get more gas for free. I hope that the employee still works there and she doesn't quit because of what happened. Reeks of cigarettes and a bit pricey. Gas was over $7 a gallon and they pump it for you. We pissed through $20 of this gas going from here to Twentynine Palms (less than an hour away). The front desk of the hotel was probably my favorite part. It was a beautiful time capsule and a reminder of just how vibrant decor used to be. There's about 5 or 6 rooms you can go into. The rest of the hotel is closed off. You can see the Amboy Crater from there. Lots of great spots to take pictures. The owner of Juan Pollo restaurants owns this space along with the McDonald's museum and a military museum in San Bernardino. Cool spot to check out for sure.
