This has been my go to gas station since I got my first car, every time I've visited even if busy the teller's are great people and get me in and out quickly. The best selection in energy drinks and iced teas, and one of the guys there even set me up with their car wash stamp card. Beware of the car wash. Twisted the metal part of one of my windshield wipers. My car is not particularly old and it goes through these washes regularly. My wipers weren't sticking up or anything weird before going through it. This wash was super strong. I went inside to speak to the manager, but there was no manager on duty. The person at the counter said that the sign said that they're not responsible for wipers. Did not even offer to refund what I paid for the wash. No way was I going to take a piece of paper from her during covid to fill out a form. Not even sure if they had the power to refund me anything. Took the loss and got new wipers. read more

Convenient location on Aviation and Marine in Manhattan Beach area. The gas station has a good number of pumps and the store is always clean and has a nice layout. There's a car was at this location as well. You can buy the car wash at the pump while you get your gas or buy it inside, they have a few levels of the car wash to choose from. The car wash is working most of the time but seems to get stuck or stops working on frequent occasion. The car wash can be a pain sometimes due to the non-intuitive way of entering the car wash while there's a car still drying on the other side. Some people will stop way before they should so the car wash can't handle this then resets. Also, getting out on to Aviation from the station can always be harrowing during commuting rush hour and the turn onto Marine is One-Way (right turn only) but many drivers decide or try to turn left, holding up everyone. It's usually not an issue unless there's someone waiting for 10 minutes for a spot to present itself when they can turn left. read more

Hazardous and unsafe. Filled up here, pump 5 spewed fuel all over me and my car. Pump 4 was being cleaned up probably for the same reason. Either go to another place or be very careful when you get gasoline. Super expensive too. read more

I love Chevron gas. Yes it is expensive. But this particular station has one of the cheapest prices in comparison with other Chevrons in the area. I have one major caveat.....what is the deal with all the unnecessary steps when swiping your card at the pump to pay for gas?!?! No I'm not a Vons club member. No I don't want a car wash! No I don't want a receipt! Can a girl pls just pump gas and leave? This is for all Chevrons across the board. I realize this because once I had to pump gas at Mobil and realized they don't have all these shenanigans. I pump gas and once in a while I feel like getting a receipt printed. Then I leave. Done. Car wash is 6.00, is no touch, gets top soil off, 90 minute dryer you control pace of car, leaves lots of spotting. No discount for gas purchase. You will need to spend 15 to 30 minutes wiping it down after, still not great. Vac is 1.75 extra. Not sure I would try it again. Beats the dirty scratchy cloth sweaty employee uncaring expensive full service places. read more

Car wash left soap all over my car and I had to have it hand washed at another place. Manager wasn't there to refund money so I came back the next day, and she was very very rude! She said she would refund the $11 but to never use the car wash again! I said that a good manager would apologize and call to have it repaired but she said 'nobody else has complained!!' I took photos of my car covered with soap and she refused to even look at them. No wonder that location has such a high turnover with employees! I will never be back there, not even if I need gas. read more

This wash literally just gets your car wet (it's brushless). Worst wash I've ever tried in my entire life. I had to rub the whole thing down with microfiber cloths while it was wet to get all the dirt and dust off myself. See photos for all the dirt that was on my rags after wiping it down. I usually do not write reviews, but I think people should know this before you go to this chevron. I went to this gas station when I still had 2 gallons left in my car. My car can only hold 13 gallons and the maximum I've ever had it hold was 13.4 gallons, but this was when I really pushed it to the limit. They cheated me off with 2 gallons extra! I have to bump up the star status here because of the car wash. It's so difficult to find a quick and cheap drive through wash in the southbay, but this chevron has it! Getting in and out is a pain though. Seems you're always going the wrong way in, or out, so be patient. CA traffic woes in effect. Worst customer service possible. I got scratch off lottery tickets at work and brought them in. First the woman threw a fit because I didn't know to scratch off a barcode at the bottom. Then she threw a fit because on the tickets was bent and was giving me grief that the scanner couldn't read it. Ended up throwing the ticket back at me and told me too bad. If that's how she handles scratch off lottery tickets, I can't even imagine how bad it is over normal things. read more

the only downside to this gas station is the high gas prices. it's very spacious and clean! it's never too crowded maybe because the prices are high but this place gives complimentary free air so if you ever need some this is the perfect place! there is a huge selection of items in their store and a very convenient location! read more

Gas prices are high but I guess that the price you pay for location & convenience. They have large clean well stocked restrooms a great coffee bar selection (no add ins like cinnamon though) and semi-fresh pre-packaged pastries. They also sell beer & wine at this location as well as various goods like motor oil, shampoo, Tylenol, chips etc. everything is clean & well organized. Around 9-10 pm they lock up the store & you have to place your order through a small window. It was fun sending the lady all over the store for various munchies. She was very good natured & compliant with our requests. read more

This is a great Chevron/Extra Mile location. It's brand new (2012) and super clean, inside and out. The staff is friendly and the selection of food and beverages inside is excellent. The only downside (not their fault) is that you can't continue to travel northbound on Aviation when you leave - you can only go south out of the lot or westbound on Marine. read more

Their cc reader does not work all too often and you do not discover this until it is too late to back out or you need to wait for the car ahead of you to go. Does not take a rocket scientist to figure out to put a sign before you enter the driveway, common courtesy does not exist here. So do not support this place. read more
