Came in to pickup a prescription and found out there was an issue with it. I was met with zero warmth, zero empathy, and zero effort from the pharmacist, Yazmin, and another woman. No concern was expressed, no explanation offered--just a cold, dismissive interaction that felt more like talking to an NPC than a healthcare professional. This pharmacy clearly has a recurring communication problem, and staff seem entirely disengaged from patient care. If you're looking for basic human interaction or concern, don't expect it here. All the bad reviews are for a reason. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere for your prescription. read more

I would like to file a formal complaint regarding the extremely poor service I received at your store. Not only were the photos taken very poorly, but the assistance and responses from your staff were also unacceptable. The lack of responsibility and unwillingness to help customers was very disappointing. Instead of providing proper support, your staff kept pushing all responsibilities back onto the customer. If customers have to solve everything by themselves, what is the point of coming to your store for photos and paying $50? In the end, I received photos with shelves clearly visible in the background--completely unusable for the USCIS digital upload requirements. The staff member who assisted me on Friday the 12th at 9 AM--a short man with a mustache--was extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. His attitude and behavior were absolutely inappropriate for customer service. I expect your store to take responsibility for this issue and provide a proper solution as soon as possible. read more

The pharmacy here is absolutely terrible. Like the worst of its kind. I've been waiting on a medication for a month now. An entire month. I finally got multiple text messages throughout the week that it is ready for pick up and It says the medication is ready when I check on Walgreens patient portal. I go in there and say I am here to pick up my RX, and I am immediately met with anger from the pharmacist "well we only said it was ready in the portal to 'trick' the system because we are out and need to be sent more. You need to always call us first to check if your medication is ready". Ummmm.....what? Also, what are you mad at me for? You messaged me that it was ready and I reasonably came in to pick it up. I called the manager later and he said they would call my doctor to get a new RX ordered and never did. I will be reporting them for suspicious practices. Terrible terrible terrible. read more

I've had 2 exchanges with Manesa (not sure of spelling) and both were poor, she's a liar making up rules because she lacks accountability! I saw a $50 wrist blood pressure monitor on sale for $25 on the Walgreens App and decided to buy one. I went to the store and their price was $45. I asked them why there was such a difference and they said that on-line prices and in-store prices are independent from one another. So I went home and ordered it on-line. Soon after I got a text telling me that the deliverer was ar rhe store picking up my monitor. So instead of selling it to me for $25 in the store they paid someone to go to the store, pick it up, and deliver it to my home for the same $25! read more

I just discovered this pharmacy. I love it and I am beyond thankful for Jessica and Bryan, and the rest of the staff. I didn't catch their names. They are absolutely incredible!!!! They helped me figure out my toddlers meds and they were SO KIND, SO HELPFUL, and just wonderful people all around. The only convenience of this location is that it's close to home. Staff for pharmacy is 50/50. The pharmacy manager is extremely disrespectful and rude. I had a prescription that I was waiting for. I went Sunday morning to pick up an they told me that they actually had to reach out to my doctor and I had to wait. I go back Monday because I'm picking up another medication. I ask about the one I had to pick up Sunday. The manager instantly gets defensive and starts being rude saying I already picked up, she remembers my voice, and that I'm lying about not getting it. I start to laugh because it's a $5 meds. I start to get really frustrated. She claimed I picked it up Sunday evening. I told her I was at home with my baby Sunday night. I remember that I tried to get it through uber because I couldn't go to the pharmacy that evening. I show her an automated text that I got. She laughs and says good thing I showed her that. Yesterday I call because I was urgent care and finally got prescribed something my after my results. I call to confirm they received the order from hospital. Her again, extremely rude says there's nothing. It's not so much the feedback but the way she talks to you. I get that sometimes work is hectic, it can be for everyone. However, they are in customer service and it's part of the job to be kind and understanding. People are only trying to feel better and get well soon. read more

My doctor called in my prescription into this pharmacy that I've been having a difficult time trying to get filled for two months. Since its an adhd medication it's now hard to get everywhere. My doctor told me they accepted my script and it would be ready in an hr. I called them after their lunch break just to make sure I could fill my prescription, instead of filling it they yelled at me when I calmly tried to figure out why they wouldn't be able to fill my script. They've made my nightmare even worse when I've been trying to have my medication filled for over 2 months. I would avoid them at all costs and I hope they go out of business for ruining my night. read more

So grateful to the pharmacy! My 4yo son had to go to urgent care and was precribed medicine he needed quickly. When I got to the pharamacy they didn't have it. Turns out very few pharmacies in LA had it. It was almost closing time (6pm). I got on the phone with urgent care who gave a phone # the pharmacy could call him and he could represcribe a similar medicine. The pharmacy worked hard to get my sick son what I needed even though they could've thrown their hands up and said "sorry, we're closing." After 4 hours of urgent care, tired/hungry kids and frantically searching to find help getting medicine, this is the win my family needed. Waited 45 minutes after I checked in for my vaccination appointment to learn that I was too early ho get the second dose of the vaccination. Although the pharmacist that gave me the first dose said I could get it ahead because I was traveling to Africa. When I received the first dose I also waited (with an appointment) for 55 minutes . I didn't complain then because I believed it was an exception. I guess I was wrong . On top of that the pharmacist spent 15 minutes with a customer that came after I had been waiting for over 30 minutes. Really disrespectful. read more

Came here to get a few toiletries I missed packing. I actually miss this Walgreens! While living here, it was the better stocked location than any I've been too especially in the inland empire. Makeup always emptied out & rarely stocked. Prices were cheaper then the ones I went to in Riverside. Plus this one being near the airport has more items you'd expect them not to have. The lady at checkout is still there! She was always friendly and helpful, I'm saddened when I see some people treat her so rudely because they're always having bad days. Like this visit, I too had an impatient sighing & huffing - guess I wasn't punching my PIN fast enough for him. But I expected it because that's life these days. I usually have no problems at this location and this is quite a surprise, but I just went in there and picked up a prescription from the pharmacy and paid for it with my health reimbursement visa card from my insurance company, everything was fine, and the transaction went through. However, I have a payment method on file there which is my ATM card from my bank, and it had also been charged for the exact same amount. So I basically paid twice for the same item. When I tried to talk to Walgreens about it, they looked at records and only saw the one, and that was that, basically said sorry there's nothing we can do. It didn't matter at all that I had proof with my recent transactions in my banking app. I asked if there's a way to bring something in to show proof from my bank as well, and they just weren't having it. As far as they were concerned, it wasn't their fault. And I'm out $164 that they stole from me. I also just got off the phone with my bank who confirmed they did charge my account, it didn't matter, now I have to dispute it and it could take months to get it back if they even decide to give it back to me from the bank.. It's just absolutely mind boggling how a huge corporation can just do this and get away with it. I'm pissed. Hopefully this review will spare somebody somehow in the future from this happening to them, but it seems that no matter what Walgreens will keep that money. This is child's play and absolutely unprofessional. They need to do way way better with our personal bank cards in their system. read more

Jessica, the Pharmacy manager, went out of her way to help me secure the best pricing for a new and expensive prescription. Very nice employees but they're often out of items in the beauty section that are on sale. There will be one left when it's two for one. Frustrating. Quick photo turnaround with great quality you can order via app off your phone. For some unknown reason FedEx delivered a parcel here that I had to drive miles to pick up. However, even though they showed me the package they would not give it to me because their system was down! I want to give Praise to the El Segundo Walgreens Pharmacy Dept. I have a congenital spinal disease along with some unfortunate accidents -you get the picture... I am diagnosed Acute Chronic Pain for Life and Life Disabled. Due to recent constraints on Pain Meds it's getting extremely difficult to get the medicine I'm prescribed Thankfully the Dr and staff at Walgreens Pharmacy were able to assist me and fill my Dr ordered RX Being in constant acute pain is no picnic ; but Thanks to the caring Dr at Walgreens my life will be bearable. read more

This Walgreens is open 24 hours a day, which means it can be kind of dicey at night. I stopped in here in need of some feminine supplies one evening and was disappointed in the selection they had to offer. They did not have what I was looking for so I opted for the generic line that Walgreens makes that is supposed to be similar. While the packaging looked similar and the item seemed like a good deal based on the price, I was disappointed with the product. For certain things I think this Walgreens will suffice, but if you really want something specific you would be better off finding a Target or Walmart that is open late. read more

I visited this Walgreens today, Monday 12/30/14 looking for Chrismas items on sale. Today, things are 50% off. This is a typical discount around the 1st week leading out of Christmas, then I think it goes to 70% by the weekend then 90% usually. Right now, there's a CVS at 8985 Venice Blvd that already has 90% off and the inventory has been picked through. I used to love them! I purchased a bag of NICE! Milk chocolate cashews, to enjoy on my long ride home. I opened the bag to get a nibble once I was on the road; and the nuts that I ate were rancid. It literally happened only moments ago and is very stressful when I am told their is Nothing they can do for me when I lost my vaccination card as if you're supposed to have it at all times. Josh went above and beyond by searching the back area thoroughly. Unfortunately, it wasn't there.
