Horrible horrible service. The lady inside is sooo rude!! Rudest person ever. I have no idea how she still works there. She makes everyone buy something for FREE air. She said that it's their policy. She doesn't let you talk, she talks over you because she feels like she's always right. Worst gas station service ever. Giving a one star to this place not because I want to; but because I HAVE to. If I could give it no stars I would . This has to be one of the Worst Gas stations I've ever been to seriously. So I'm on my way to To Livermore which is where I work and my kid ( to whom im dropping off at school ) decides he really needs to use the restroom . I figured I guess I can use some gas I had about 70 miles till empty . So we stop by and I go inside and ask this she/her/they lady that's at the counter . I had already seen a customer arguing with her from a distance . Anyways . I ask her to use the restroom and she says it's for customers only . I say that's fine can I get 50 on pump 3 please . So she rolls her eyes at me and says my child can use the restroom . Once he comes out he complains about the bathrooms being super dirty . I kindly tell the Middle Aged lady at the front that they really need to clean them . And she responds with " are you seriously bit**ing about the bathrooms being dirty after I let you use them ? Next time go across the street " she Implies." . I grab my kid and go , This disrespectful lady cussing in my sons face . Never again am I coming to this gas station unless it's the other person who is always on counter . This lady was mad rude and she asked us to next time go somewhere else . read more

Since when does California allow you to charge for air in your tires. I didn't realize that I'd have to purchase something in the store or purchase at the pump just to put air in my tire. Pretty sure it's illegal. You guys should look into it before you end up getting sued. pretty bad for a multi billion dollar company to have to charge to put air in your tire. read more

The staff are always nice & polite. Surprising, I know. But true. Something else worth noting is that all of the gas pumps are always in working order. I used to think this was to be expected. But, I cannot count how many times that at least one gas pump has been "out of order" at the Chevron station a few blocks away on Carpenter. So convenient. It's right next to Highway 99, & right across the street from Starbucks. I don't put any other gasoline in my vehicles. 5 stars. read more

It was 11:45 PM I had $100 bill the cashier told me I cannot pay with $100 bill that they do not take hundred dollar bills that I had to pay with something smaller I do not use credit or debit at the pump I did not have anything smaller especially right now with gas being so expensive all I have is hundreds and the guy refuse to accept it, I had to go to the bank and make change by the time I got back Chevron was closed this Chevron is supposed to be open 24/7 guess the pumps are automated only to accept debit or credit no employee is on duty 24/7, I ended up having to go to another 24 hour Chevron due to there is no employee on duty to accept cash payment this is a great inconvenience for this Chevron being 24 hours... this is by far the worst Chevron ever here in Modesto! read more

For years now I've been going to Chevron gas station on Kansas and for years I've been treated like serving me is a major inconvenience. I've been biting my tongue and giving the benefit of the doubt these employees who I frankly are worthless the entire time. Tonight was the last straw. I went to buy beer it was 10 minutes to 2 ask the gentleman Clerk for 4 beers he brought me the four beers the total was $12 and change I gave him a 20. apparently he had no change in his drawer so he tried to put my 20 into his change machine and the change machine would not accept the 20 so I was denied the purchase of the beer. This was a new one to me. Normally when I get there at 10 minutes to 2 sometimes a little earlier sometimes of little later nobody will be in the store no clerks that is. I was told years ago just tap on the glass we can hear it in the back and we'll come and get you. I've been there as early as quarter to 2 knocking on the glass for 15 minutes while nobody comes and then at 2:01 the clerk will stroll out of the back as if they just heard the knocking on the glass. That happened to me three times in the last six or eight months and I bit my tongue every time. I never had a cross word for those people. I never gave them attitude but I'm tired of feeling like I am an inconvenience at a convenience store. I've never seen anybody try so hard to not take my money. Before all that there use to be a clerk there who would shake his head coming out of the back every time he heard the knocking on the window like" you again" I've never seen anybody or so many so miserable in the job they have. If you don't like the job get another one I don't make me feel like I'm an inconvenience to you when that's what you're getting paid to do go to the refrigerator and get a beer. I'm telling everyone I know do not I repeat do not go to the Chevron on Kansas do not go to the Chevron on Kansas. The only reason I have is because it's close to my house and when I get off work sometimes it's the only place I have time to go to but believe me I'll make other arrangements from here on out I'll get my beer the day before I'll order it online I'll do anything I have to do to avoid going back to that Kansas Chevron ever ever ever again and like I said I'm going to do my part to make sure that everyone I know stays away from that Chevron as well. Never again never again will I give your employees the opportunity to make me feel like I'm inconveniencing them. read more

The woman cashier that is working right now and was on shift last night around 2am deserves extreme recognition. My car ran out of gas and I had to buy a gas jug to start my vehicle again and I had no idea what I was doing. I was emotional, stressed, and confused and she went above and beyond for me. She took the time to come outside and help me figure out how to fill my gas and spent at least 30 minutes with me in the cold when she absolutely didn't have to. I don't think she will ever know how much her kindness meant to me and I have no idea what I would of done if she wasn't there. Customer service such as that is rare and I will never forget it-I hope the owners of this location see this and know how lucky they are to have such a kind and helpful employee. read more

I've been going to this gas station for many years I needed air in my tires so I pulled in and the person they have working at night time always seems to be in the back and you can only walk up to the instead of walking in the store, being that I needed air I waited for a good 30 minutes (WOW long break). So I later went back and the lady working there I asked if she could turn on the air and all of a sudden there want to charge for the air. She said you have to buy something it says it on the side of the air machine. I said ok well I always run in buy something to drink and put gas she said well you aren't today, I said WTF and walked off I think that they are the only one who charges rather it be maybe I didn't have the money on me. Every situation is different and they should take into consideration instead of acting as ridiculously insensitive it's only air.!!!! Just by the two people I encounter with their rudeness I WILL NEVER STOP THERE NOR WILL I BUY GAS THERE AGAIN!!! I WOULD RATHER DRIVE OUT OF MY WAY. read more
