I can't stress how inconvenient/convenient. This location is. Although this is the closest gas station to me it is always a pain to get gas here. There's always a bottleneck and you wind up having to circle as it's always busy. I've also had plenty of issues in which, after using the credit card Swiper here suddenly I wind up having fraud on my credit cards, despite not using the cards elsewhere. This location doesn't do deals on their beverages if you're running in for a quick soda, energy, drink, or whatever as well. My recent visit I tried to input my Vons number number and the price was lowered. However, after swiping my card, selecting a grade and pulling out the pump and about to issue gas, the pump requested I talked to the cashier. When I notified the cashier issue, he wouldn't help me inside and insisted me using the pump. When I tried to demonstrate what I wanted to do, he was very persistent and would not allow me to enter the rewards. When I asked, I wanted to use my rewards points, the clerk was adamant. That's not how it's gonna work. To me that's the final nail on the coffin. I don't want to go to a gas station where I have more issues than anything else. Only pump Chevron wherever I go. Stopped in to fill my car tank. Great friendly service . This Chevron is pretty clean . Lots of snacks to purchase inside. Filled my hybrid with 60 bucks. Typically lasts me a month or so . I notice that when I use cheaper gas ... I run out of gas fast , so I don't . They have an app to earn points which I always forget to download! read more

Great gas, Horrible customer service. All Chevron around the county are of similar quality, good gas that you pay a slight markup for compared to other stations. This one is no different and the quality is in line with the rest. Ever since updating to the newer pump screens and keypads I have been having more problems than ever trying to use the app which ties in below. Car was is par for the course when it comes to automatic car washes. Nothing spectacular but also not the worst, but will likely still destroy your paint over time like all those types of machines. The biggest thing that sets this station apart from other chevrons is the lack of customer service, specifically from employee Rico who loves to go on political and religious rants with customers while others are in line waiting. I am bilingual so an English-speaker wouldn't know what is going on (I have only heard it with other Spanish speaking customers) but it doesn't seem like appropriate topics to be coming from an on the clock employee, along with increasing wait times for everyone else. As noted above the new pumps they recently put in don't seem to mesh well with the chevron app or its payments. The first time I encountered this issue the employee apologized and was very kind in letting me know he couldn't help, and offered the information on where to call. Luckily when I got back to the car and tried it again, it went through no issues. I use Chevron exclusively and this is the only station in Ventura County where I have ever had an issue using the app. The last time this issue occurred, I asked for assistance inside with Rico working the register. When I asked about possible issues with the pumps or app I received the equivalent of an "are you stupid" look and the suggestion that "it's my phone, shouldn't I know how to work it?" when I asked if I was doing something wrong to cause the error. Guess it was my bad for expecting the guy wearing a Chevron shirt to have knowledge about their application. Overall a good station for the gas, prices and car wash are ok, but I would only go if pumping gas from the pump. since the service inside has been less than great every time and other reviews have similar sentiments. read more

Aggressive and inappropriate owner. Attempted to refuse the use of his internal restroom and tried to divert me to the outside bathroom. The internal restroom is for paying customers and I was refueling my vehicle. Female staff member apologized for his behavior, he stated "I'm not sorry," then attempted to stand in the aisle and make it difficult for me to depart the store. I am disabled, not helpless, so I continued and did not divert my path. I expected a collision, but he moved at the last minute. I would NOT recommend this location due to the aggressive and very rude nature of this employee. I am filing a complaint with the local chamber of commerce as it appears to be this locations typical behavior. read more

They were super friendly but I do not like the fact that they lied to me and then I got charged the extra $.68 a gallon. I found out that the Tractor Supply Store down the street only charges $3.98 a gallon. I'll be going there from now on. read more

Of course they refuse to take accountability and seem to think they have found what no one else has - an automatic car wash that is 100% error free. Aggressive and inappropriate owner. I pulled into this gas station and pulled up to a pump to fill my tank. My boss called me and I ended up sitting on a business call for a while. I want to be perfectly clear there was no one waiting behind me for a pump they were not full there were no lines both pumps next to me were open and free. After being on my call for a little while the owner felt it appropriate to come outside demand I roll down my window yell at me and make me feel very unsafe. You don't yell wave your arms and invade the personal space of someone in their vehicle by leaning towards the window or in the window. My boss asked me if I was okay because he could hear this person through my phone. I was very disappointed with the customer service at our local chevron station, after putting 20.00 of gas this morning. I went to the air to fill a low tire, walked in ask the attendant to push the button for the air which is complimentary for customers, there was only one gentleman inside who just delivered gas to the station, he said sure. I walked back to my car as I was running late for work, waited 5 minutes and nothing and I was sure not going to pay the $1.50 for air which I didn't have in change anyways. I felt disgusted and put my valve back on and drove away, I didn't feel I had to go remind the attendant again. After I filled My tank and before I got the car wash I received a call from my son that my grandchild had just been hurt and we needed to care for him immediately. This is hands down the WORST Chevron I have EVER been to. William is the rudest person I've ever met at a gas station. Young middle eastern guy. I was smoking a cig AWAY from the pumps. He went over to me yelling to move my truck by the PROPANE TANK. WHAT? Decided well I'll get my truck washed. The truck did not dry, whatsoever. Cashier got confrontational when I asked for a rewash. I advised him I worked for a Chevron up north, it's 1001 PLU for Gilbarco registers. He played dumb. "YOU trying to start problems" No, I want a rewash or a refund and a towel to dry my truck. The gas is good, but the price is high, High, HIGH!! Typically 10 to 15 cents more than anywhere else in town. Check GasBuddy! But the quality of gas is good. I went to a mechanic for a tune up and he asked what kind of gas I used. When I told him Shell or 76, he refused to work on my car. He told me to run three tankfuls of Chevron through, then come back. Just using the gas was like getting a tune up! Today I tried the car wash. Poor quality wash, miserable quality blow-dry. On busy LA Ave & Spring St. This Station is nearly always crowded. The CHP hangs out here all the time and gave me a ticket when I drove into the Station. I was nearly out of gas. I crossed over ( safely) from the left turn lane. Yes, my fault.The next time I used this Station -a year later - there were two shady-looking women hanging out near the mini-mart (hookers? Yikes!) who crouched down when the CHP drove in. And another CHP looking things over, waiting to ticket someone. Ugh. That neighborhood has changed! I've tried several pumps at this station and they won't stay locked on my car. I have to hold and squeeze while my big SUV fills. Takes a long time and hurts my fingers. The only station this happens at. Last few times I got my car washed here it was horrible (horrible for a drive through wash). They must have changed the formula because the soap looks different now and the rinse cycle didn't do much. My cars both looked worse afterwards. One time they gave me a code to drive through again to re-rinse and it still didn't help. read more

I made a mistake on the pump I put my money on....I realized it and went back inside....Mary behind the counter had an instant attitude problem and because another guy pumped some of My gas she said it was my problem...hand gestures and ugly face making to boot ...she then gave me my receipt so that I could collect the money from the other guy then she gave me the store number and refused to give me her managers number and when I asked her for her name she pointed at her name tag that I could not read.
