The basil was strong, which I expected from a Margherita-style pizza, but what felt missing were the diced or sliced tomatoes. Every single flavor was made of pure ingredients, not with artificial flavoring or coloring. It was just as good as being in Italy, or in any of the high end gelaterias in Little Italy SD! It was nice and clean inside and they even had a really cute little Vespa you can take pictures with ( not sitting on it;). The gelato is a bit pricy - $8 for a single scoop and it goes up from there, but given the quality of the ingredients, I think it is worth it to support a local business who is putting in the work and delivering quality.
