This is a great facility with all the items one could need in a convenience store. They provide great service and super friendly staff at all hours of the night or day. Sometimes the floors might get a little sticky, but that's probably due to a slurpee mishap and those things do happen unfortunately. 5.0 - Probably stop by there this afternoon.

Forgot to add. There are even bacon bits spread throughout the pizza as well!

Arvin survival day 2 THANK YOU, COME AGAIN!!! Okay I can see now why stereotypes :X Began my walk 5.4 mile round trip walk towards this destination of choice. Another franchise that is only seen in one city, I think, of KY; London. It was my first time EVER at this place and it is hilarious because probably everyone has been here. My eyes were set on the pizza, of which, Joey's World Tour, advertises and the SLURPEE. When I entered, it was pretty much dead and so I was able to make my quick move towards the Slurpee machines and then I asked for the pizza. The Slurpee brought me back to those movie theater ICEEs, probably because of the Wild Cherry flavor and the pizza was like, what Joey describes as, "those take home pizzas you put in the oven"; it was actually pretty satisfying! Comparative to Little Caesars, I would have to say better due to the crust being soft and the cheese melting off the pizza. All in all, the trip was worth it!

Comfortable seating, board games, and little touches throughout the space make it easy to settle in and relax, The coffee is excellent. I enjoyed the multiple drip options. I ordered an iced café latte mocha--half white chocolate, half mocha--and from the very first sip, the coffee just spoke. It was incredibly smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. The blend of white chocolate and mocha wasn't overpowering at all--it was just right. What also surprised me was the size of the drink for the price--great value. On top of that, the service was super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The inside of the shop was also a treat to see--clean, inviting, and just a really nice place to hang out and enjoy your drink. We usually go to places like Coffee Bean or Makena, but after this visit, I think we've found our new favorite spot. If you're in the area, this place is a must-try. Much to my surprise, it was about as lively as I had remembered it. The Alley was established during Covid times and offered a retreat to escape from the humdrum of the homestead. These days, its friendly vibe welcomes neighbors and visitors with a backyard setting strewn with twinkle lights and family-style tables. It's a causal scene and easy to soak in the live music, sunlight/moonlight, and neighborly banter. The layout resembles an alley with shops on either side, big open doors invite you to grab something to eat, sample a drink, or shop for handmade gifts. On one side, you've got craft brews and coffee roasters. On the other side, it's local wines and piping hot pizzas. Dogs are welcome all around. At the center of it all, there's live music on the weekends. Modeled after a Beer & Wine Garden concept, The Alley features Enegren Brewery (beer), Lucas Sellers (wine), California Coffee Republic (java), Fire & Vice (pizza), and The Craft House (non-alcoholic tchotchkes). As a self-proclaimed wino, I opted for a sampling of the Lucas Sellers Wines. Ashley, who was behind the bar and top of the pours, gave me good suggestions and offered anecdotes about each wine on tap. At the end of the night, my light pinot paired perfectly with the Mushroom Arugula pizza from Fire & Vice. And I felt right at home, surrounded by friends.

I've been to Italy multiple times and grew up around Italian baking, and this is hands down the best frittelle I've ever tasted. Light, golden, and filled with vanilla custard, then finished with a dusting of powdered sugar, it was truly unforgettable. This is a real Italian bakery, and once you step inside, the space completely opens up--high ceilings, a beautiful interior, and a hidden, speakeasy feel you'd never expect from the street. The young man with blonde hair who helped me was so kind, knowledgeable, and clearly proud of the bakery. It made the whole experience even better. The latte was perfectly done as well. Everything here feels high quality and thoughtfully made. I'll definitely be back. Thank you--support local.

Within ten seconds of walking in, I was greeted by Ama, who set the tone for the whole visit. She was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout. She even let me sample different gelato flavors and suggested some great dishes to try on my next visit. That kind of thoughtfulness goes a long way. The affogato here is on another level. Most places serve it in a paper cup where the espresso and gelato just blend into a mushy mess. Not here. Carrara's presents it beautifully on a stone tray, with a proper espresso cup and a transparent glass so you can actually see the layers of gelato and espresso. And Ama personally poured the espresso tableside, which really topped off the whole experience. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

First, the staff are all so kind and welcoming. You feel like you are having dinner in someone's living room. It is so beautiful and cozy and warm. Perfect for a date night! We came on a Wednesday night and had a reservation and got in right away. We shared everything family-style. Note, the portions are small but the food is delicious and for the price it is right on. Next time, may order two of one dish. We got the cucumber herb salad, the potatoes gravas, the elote corn, the flank steak, and the summer margarita pizza. All were fantastic. Next time, we'll get more than one pizza and may skip the flank steak. For dessert we had the cookie with gelato (gelato is SO GOOD) and the pop tart. You must get the pop tart!!!!! It is sooooo good and so unique. Overall, we can't wait to return and take pictures next time!

An ABSOLUTE GEM in Simi. Pastries, drinks, atmosphere,…read moreservice... all on point. I'm obsessed with this place. You walk in and it feels like you are transported to a Ghibli dream cafe. Small and cozy, cute cottage-core hedgehog figurines with mushrooms adorn the entrance table where all things hedgehog are displayed. It's the small touches here that show what thought was put into this place; like fresh strawberry mint water (or other fruit water offered) and always soft French jazz bossanova playing in the background. The service is amazing, despite never seeming to have a lull- there's always a good stream of people at any hr of the day filtering in. So let's get to the food. My family has been multiple times now, and Every pastry was a sheer delight. Not too sweet! Just right. The pastry chef making these has meticulously crafted a curated array of fun unique options that seem to change often. Drinks offerings are organic drip coffee, teas, matcha and also hot Belgium chocolate or iced Belgium chocolate. Things we tried: Iced strawberry matcha with homemade strawberry jam Iced Chai milk tea Lemon brioche Strawberry curd brioche Curry ball (crispy outside delicious spiced lentil inside) Maple pecan croissant Cherry danish Pear danish Curry pie Chocolate orange silk pie Every one was stunning. This is an adorable date idea, cute morning or mid day treat, or for kids- I brought my nephew and he can't stop raving about it.

I came here to try out California Bun, an eatery that has harnessed an interesting (long overdue) concept, to package portable food. Here they prepare snack sized bites (or a little more) of favorite food fancies, enveloped in a daily fresh baked round brioche bun. The store is high ceiling, spacious and large, with ample space to dine in or carry out. It is a mom and pop joint, that is slowly but surely, beginning to make a mark. On the main wall, elegantly displayed, are all the many enticing varieties, for the day. My visit was designed to take something to go. The conundrum here is, what to order, because there were so many inviting choices that were talking to you. I finally decided to select three of these evenly browned and differently topped buns. The El Sabroso (Egg, cheddar & jack cheese, bacon & Jalapeno salsa, garnished with Cheese, bacon & jalapeño). The Roadside Burger (Seasoned ground beef, grilled onions, white American cheese, & secret house burger sauce, garnished with Cheese & bacon). The Mac Daddy (Creamy mac and cheese with a cheddar, jack, and parmesan cheese blend, garnished with Panko bread crumbs). So whats the verdict? The Mac Daddy was my least favorite. In comparing the other two, the Roadside Burger seemed to have the higher of (inside filling/inside bread) ratio, as compared to the El Sabroso. However, the latter is the most attractive bun on the outside and overall, contains a good mix of flavors and slight kick. Any food with a visible Jalapeño is a magnet, for me. Still, this concoction needs more of the egg mixture, to achieve the right balance. In general, all 3 buns were soft, had a nice texture, bread taste and chew. Service here is warm, inviting, friendly and informative.
