First pulled up to the pump. No one was available to pump. Waited for a few minutes and then the gentleman came out toward me for gas. Typically don't judge someone or looks to be a person who works for the gas station. Maybe hard times house listen struggle. Broach my car and ask how much gas I want that a little uncertain so I decided to go in Gas station for the gas. Pump the gas no problem no incident. Just from a professional standpoint. I've been sitting outside of this chevron watching the inside attendant talk to one of his friends. I've been waiting for my gas to be pumped for the last 4 minutes so decided what the hell I am from another state where everyone pumps their own gas. Then another worker who's outside smoking comes out and yells at me that I can't pump my own gas and that her attendant is in the bathroom. Lol. I visited the local Chevron store on NW 21st & NW Lovejoy at least three times to get gas for my car and a coffee to go. I know its the day after the Thanksgiving, a Friday. But to close the store without any signs on the door or any notice to customers. Bad business practices! Also the mgr. Shannon is rude to customers and nasty to her employees! Ripe for a "Hostile Working Enviornment" complaint to BOLI. This store has a high rate of employee turnover. After witnessing her conduct to me and other employees. I will be getting my gas from Astros nearby. Carter Food Service is the "Worst" employer ever!!! read more

I know it's only a road side gas stop...but you don't have to fall prey to every negative stereotype you can imagine for such a place. Trash everywhere, nobody around to speak of...oh wait, he was the guy i passed who was on his phone smoking a cigarette and ignoring the 2 other people waiting before me...waiting, waiting, waiting....aaaaaaaaaand got rudely insulted when he finally got to me. We came here last night around 9-ish. It was a long day for us and our 10 month old was ready to get to our hotel for some sleep. The gas attendant here was texting and not paying attention to us at all although we were the only customers there. He took an extremely long time to give us any help and couldn't even run in for change he had my husband do it. Also, he was clearly stoned... Honestly, I don't mind if anyone smokes or anything but if you can't even provide decent customer service or even give a flying fuck about your job maybe you should save it for when you're at home. They aren't open 24/7 Actually they close at 10pm HOWEVER..... They REALLY CLOSE TEN MINUTES EARLIER THEN THAT! Every time we go here and they still should be open another 5 or 10 minutes they aren't. Very poor customer service to do this to customers. Especially ones that frequent this location often, and spend a lot of money on gas and other things. We will definitely stop going here from now on. I have bought my gas at this station for over 20 years. Ownership and employees have changed but I have had generally positive experiences. My last two visits have completely changed my mind about the service. About three weeks ago I was scolded when I asked for a receipt after my gas was pumped. I was told that next time I needed to ask for a receipt "up front" as if this was really putting the attendant out. In over 20 years I have never been told this by an attendant at this station and in fact, have usually been asked after the gas is pumped if I would like a receipt. But last week took the cake. The attendant first of all refused to come to the driver side of the car and instead tried to talk to me through the passenger window. As advised I asked for the receipt up front. When the attendant returned with my credit card I rolled down the driver side rear window and put my hand out. He either didn't see me or refused to hand me the card through the rear window. Next I turned away and started to roll down the front window. In the meantime he had just put the card next to the driver side front window. I saw it as I started to roll down the window but assumed erroneously that he had it propped against the window securely. Well, down the card went immediately into the inside of the car door. When the attendant came back with my receipt I told him what happened after he left the card against the window. He just said "Good job" with a slight chuckle and walked off. I told him his actions would be reported and I hoped there were repercussions. He said "Good" and walked off again. The cashier inside said there had been a number of complaints about this attendant's service and that he would take my number and have the owner call me. He was currently not at the station and would be away for several days. It's been almost a week now and I have not received a call. It's doubtful the owner cares but frankly the station has now permanently lost an over 20 year customer. By the way it cost me time plus $179 to have the car door opened by the dealer (special tools were required so I could not do this myself). read more

The owner was rude. He didn't know how to work my transaction. I question him about it and he gave me attitude. Asked for my card back and told him I'll go somewhere else. He said, good idea. I headed inside to complain and he said, good luck with that. The inside cashier was going to help me but he the owner started yelling at me and told the other guy not to help me so he went back inside. The owner kept yelling at me and told me to leave. While taking his picture, he flipped me off. Seriously?! You're a owner of a business and you're going to treat customers this way??? read more

Aggressive, profane employees. Commuting in over the Washington border each day, I'm apparently unfamiliar with the ritual of filling up in Portland. After having made the cardinal sin of swiping my own debit card, "Jonathan ", became immediately hostile and reprimanded me for not confirming with him that I wanted to fill up. After telling him to forget it and that I would go elsewhere he responded with "that sounds like a great idea, you F-ing prick! " and proceeded to flip me off as he walked back into the station, but not before slamming my car door on me as I got back into my vehicle. Huh? There's being disgruntled and then there's being dangerous. Avoid this station at all costs. read more

I hope if you come across this you read the entire review. It's ironic because as soon as I came on here to write a review I see that somebody has already had an interaction with this guy Stephen. He's the guy with long hair in the pictures and flipping the camera off. I don't even know if I would give this a single star rating. My story. There is a guy who works at the Chevron and his name is Stephen, probably one of the worst human beings I've ever met in my life. I pull up to the gas station on a day where it was hailing exponentially. I sat in my car for five minutes while I watch this guy Stephen recording this unusual amount of hail on his phone.. A little annoyed.. only because he's the only person currently pumping gas and not helping people at the pump. (all pumps had people at them, and every person at every pump was standing outside of the car waiting) As I looked to my left I saw the guy in the little market store who works at Chevron doing the same thing.. recording hail outside while there is a line in the store... customers in which they aren't helping. As I said I was a little annoyed with the time that it passed and I wasn't being held at the pump. I hopped out of my car slid my debit card in the machine then typed in my pen, selected the grade of gas that I wanted, pop the nozzle into my tank. And then proceeded to stand there for about 30 seconds until Stephen ran up screaming. He asked me "what the fuck do you think your doing? You know it's illegal to pump your own gas in Oregon right? You dumb shit!" .. in complete shock I said wow I'm sorry what? I was just trying to get you a head start. (Trying to completely avoid confrontation) Then he told me "you know who the fuck do you think you are!? I do my job really well!" I replied, I'm sure you normally do but I had been standing here for a while waiting for gas. He said " I don't give a fuck, you know what!? How about this!" ... he pulled the nozzle out of my take and slapped it back on the pump and proceeded to tell me that "he has the right to refuse service to anyone, including assholes like me" I laughed, and said OK. Hopped in my car and drove to the next gas station. I think the thing that irritates me and frustrates me the most on top of keeping my cool the entire time while this guy for no reason verbally attacked me. My wife and my kids were sitting in the car with the window rolled down and could hear the entire conversation... that guy should be absolutely fired, the level of disrespect to paying customers is totally and utterly uncalled for. What goes around comes around Stephen. Regardless if your boss reads this or not or you have to endure some sort of consequence for your behavior. I hope that everyone else can point you out of the crowd and say what a horrible human being you are. read more

This station is not actually open 24 hours as advertised. I drove by at 12 midnight and it was closed, lights out. Not sure what the actual hours are, but they should probably update. There aren't a lot of late night gas stations in the area, so this one is very disappointing. read more

Great customer service! I usually come here for gas, cigarettes, and the occasional grocery item. The cashiers are always super polite and friendly to me. The gas is pretty quick for a busy area. They are not 24/7. read more

By far the slowest service I've ever had at a gas station. Another car and I were waiting for gas for easily 3 to 5 minutes before one of the attendants came out. And it's not the first time. Horrible service but unfortunately I live in nw and have to come here when I forget to fill up elsewhere. read more
