You now had one person filling 5 + cars. So when my fill-up finished I thought I'd help her out and removed my line and put the cap back on. At which point the female attendant starting telling me that I couldn't do that and threatened me with a $1k fine. Nevermind she was now ignoring the person she was supposed to be helping. So I guess I won't try to help the next time she's overworked....well actually I'll just not go back to this station.... considering they have a competitor literally across the street, I'd assume they'd train their people on general customer service. I think I'll just use the gas station 50 feet down the road from now on.

Just down the street or a few blocks away from several apartment complexes and residential neighborhoods, it's easy to stop by anytime of day. Unfortunately, the gas here is tragically overpriced, sometimes over a dollar more per gallon than some other gas stations. There are also the occasion sketchy people that may approach you and ask you for money, although that's much of North Portland in general. It's a decent place to fuel up if you're almost out of gas, but otherwise there are better locations.

The main thing is inside they have a solid selection of snacks, wine and of most importance they have coffee. I don't mean the high octane sickly sweet brew found on every corner here in Portland. I mean a cup of Joe. A cup of Mud. Working man's fuel. Something to wake me up and send me on my way without giving me diabetes. Gas station coffee is simply the best, even in Portland!
