Instead of kindly explaining any limit, she rudely told my kids, "No more candy." I've shopped at Costco for years, and when trying samples, the representatives are usually friendly and welcoming. Many have even encouraged us to grab another because they want customers to enjoy the product. This interaction was the complete opposite. I completely understand if there are sample limits, but there's a respectful way to communicate that especially to children. A little kindness goes a long way. Unfortunately, this experience left a negative impression.

Prices are typical 7-Eleven prices, but they do run a lot of specials, especially if you have their app. The gas prices are also reasonable. I like the 7-Eleven ATMs, because they are part of my credit union's Network, and I can make a withdrawal without having to "buy my own money." The reason I'm taking off a couple of stars, is because while this store is right next to Mather field Road, it's on the edge of a "more challenged part of town." sometimes the store is cool, sometimes they definitely have homeless people and panhandlers hanging out in the front of the store. I would not go here after 10 PM, and while I have never had any problems in this store, if something looks uncomfortable, I won't get out of my car. Again, it is a good 7-Eleven, you just have to watch your surroundings. I will continue to shop here. Thanks.

But don't mistake that warmth and friendliness for weakness. Tony will not tolerate rude and obnoxious people and will take care of them quickly and efficiently. I enjoy popping into the store whenever I have a little item I need to pick up and don't want to deal with the big stores. I was shopping at this little store even before Tony took it over. And boy I'm glad he did. I've known Tony for over 25 years now. Our kids even shared a class in high school together. He and his family are wonderful people who are a delight to interact with.
