First time leaving a review for a gas station but this behavior is not ok!…read more Tonight I went to Maverik and my two kids went in to get water. They were charged for sodas instead. When I went inside to ask the employee, Brandee, why, she said she asked if they were sodas and because the kids didn't answer, she just went ahead and charged them for sodas. These are children--we can't expect them to handle that kind of situation the same way an adult would. Instead of clarifying or assisting them, she assumed and overcharged. Brandee did not offer to refund the difference, only a receipt. She never once apologized or made eye contact, and spoke to me in a defensive, dismissive, and condescending tone. The lack of professionalism and customer service was very apparent. I even had my daughter go in to talk to her directly, and Brandee accused me of being "aggressive," then spoke down to my 10-year-old, treating her like she was unintelligent and dismissing what she said entirely. Employees like Brandee should be taught how to provide proper customer service, especially when children are involved. A little respect, patience, and honesty goes a long way, and customers should never feel taken advantage of. It's not about the money it's about taking advantage of children.

I parked my car on the gravel behind "Slim Olson's", where other cars were parked. There was no sign of me breaking the law. Afterall, obviously "St George Express" and "Slim Olson's" have an agreement or understanding that cars will be parked here with it being a designated meeting point for riders. My car is a nice car and obviously wasn't a breakdown. It had been parked there out of the way on Saturday Oct 27 at 12:20pm and I returned to pick it up Monday Oct 29 7pm and to my surprise it was gone.

The attended told me that I needed to go park up by the propane tank because "thats where they look for ya". After waiting up at the tank for about five minutes I pushed the call attendant button, I was told that they had already sent someone up, waited another five minutes for the attendant to come up and fill my tank. After he'd filled it I followed him back down to the store to pay. The attendant there barked my total at me and after I'd paid thew my recipt across the counter to me.. After using the self check out, which I always do, I accidentally left a couple of bags on the rotating bag holder when I left. My Son went back to retrieve the bags within an hour and was told they had already put the items back on the shelf. They said he could go back through the store for the items however he wasn't with me while shopping so I had to go back the next day with my receipt in hand to get the items. At the customer service counter I was first told they would honor the receipt and I could pick up the items. After going back through the store again picking up the items I went back to the counter to have them process the transaction. The customer service representative then said they could not honor the purchase without first having their Loss Control review footage to ensure what I was telling them was true because Smiths employees the night before had not documented per their internal procedures that they returned my items to the shelves. Okay so now she doesn't believe my items were left at the store. So bam, now I'm being treated as if I am being dishonest and am being investigated by Loss Control agents. Once they do review the footage they will clearly see what I told them is in fact true. It is outright pathetic that SMITHS MARKETPLACE treats their customers like criminals. It is now noon the day after the harrowing experience and I still have not been contacted by Smiths, still do not have my grocery items and am left waiting for them to complete their internal investigation. What a joke...never, ever will I shop at any Smiths Marketplace again!

Average…read more Typical grocery store. It doesn't always feel like the safest parking lot because it is NOT well lit. But otherwise it's fine. Hot tip would be go to the fruit/veggie section they have discounted fruits and veggies that still have about 1-2 weeks of life left in them. Great for livestock treats as well!

Today is September 26th 2024 this happened approximately 11:30 you could review the footage I was in line trying to buy me a refillable mug I asked Lady I need to get that mug she said just one moment I said okay literally six different individual customers walk up and she keeps ringing them up as I'm still standing at the counter this holiday has the worst customer service unless you are a family friend and as you go there you will realize that they do know some people in the community and they are family but it when it comes to paying customer that doesn't meet their criteria they are assholes I ended up going up to the holiday up the road by the McDonald's and I purchased me a $20 refillable mug I walked in got in line vented to the employees at that holiday they chuckled and said their cells are way better than the holiday down the road he got me my mug I paid for it and I got my refill.... It's sad that I had to waste my gas it sad that I'm wasting my time on a review it's sad because the last time this happened I stopped going to that holiday my wife stopped going there my two older children stopped going there all because they have s***** customer service a beautiful facility but crappy people working there look at the footage and you will see
